05/04/2024: We have often been guests at the Vannucci hotel and already knew the restaurant. Passing through Città della Pieve, we decided to have dinner. Elegant environment, excellent wine list, impeccable service and excellent raw materials. All dishes skillfully prepared by chef Vito, between Umbrian tradition and original innovation. Prices in line with the quality of the dishes.

01/04/2024: Being guests of the hotel we decided to book Easter lunch here. The room is very nice and well-kept like the rest of the rooms. The dishes were really excellent, the appetizer exceptional, even the first and second courses. Very friendly staff and excellent wine. The dessert buffet had a great tiramisu and some really yummy profiteroles. The only flaw is bringing the children's pasta after the adults', they have waited a long time and should always be served first.

01/04/2024: My family and I stayed at Easter in this wonderful villa, an enchanting home. The owners Francesca and Novello are extraordinary people, very hospitable, they immediately made us feel at ease by treating us like family. We were struck by the beautiful floors, frescoes and furnishings which made us breathe a magical air. Mrs. Francesca he delighted our palate with delicious dishes. The setup has always been taken care of down to the smallest detail. Mr. Novello, always available for any need, cheered up our evenings with the sound of the piano and his guitar I recommend everyone to stay in this villa... We will return

20/03/2024: Beautiful facility and excellent service. The private spa service is well looked after, with reservation. We also took advantage of the massages, which were well performed and very relaxing. Excellent quality restaurant with refined, well-executed and presented dishes, served in a refined and particular location. The veranda overlooking the garden is beautiful.

19/02/2024: Sono stata con il mio compagno ieri a cena in questo posto incantevole, era da qualche anno che non ci tornavo e devo dire che è rimasto sempre una meraviglia! Noi abbiamo usufruito del servizio spa privata per un’ora, bellissimo posto, super rilassante dotato di ogni confort. Il posto veramente incantevole sia dentro che fuori, accogliente quasi magico, fiabesco. Una nota di merito assolutamente va alla cucina e allo chef che avrei voluto conoscere solo per fargli i miei complimenti. Ho mangiato in tanti posti buoni ma questo (in umbria) a mio avviso è uno dei migliori. Per quanto riguarda la mia cena ho assaggiato il carciofo ripieno come antipasto: un gusto delicatissimo e super equilibrato, il carciofo si scioglieva in bocca, la crema di topinambur che lo accompagnava era deliziosa e si bilanciava perfettamente con la parte croccante del piatto. Ho poi gustato un delizioso primo piatto; le tagliatelle al cacao col ragù: il sapore della tagliatella era presente ma non invadente, si sposava perfettamente con il resto dei sapori. Il mio compagno ha provato anche la carne: vitello con cardoncelli: tenerissima, si scioglieva in bocca come burro. Per concludere il tiramisù era a suo dire divino, mentre io ho provato il tortino al cioccolato che era assolutamente una goduria per il palato. Deliziosi anche gli entrèe di benvenuto: sia il cocktail di prosecco e melagrana che il pane caldo con olio evo e l’arancino caldo. Lo consiglierei sicuramente. Ci tornerò per il mio compleanno!

20/10/2023: What a wonderful evening of food, wine, friends and service. I think this is the best meal I've ever had in Italy. The ambience is warm and inviting and the owners go out of their way to make guests comfortable and relaxed. Every bite was perfect - perfectly cooked, prepared, seasoned and presented. I can hardly wait to go back.

05/04/2024: I was brought here by a person who had been here before. Magnificent restaurant surrounded by greenery and silence. The food is truly excellent and Mrs Cristina is extremely friendly and kind. The garden is well looked after and evocative, living in it in the summer must be an experience I would definitely return for.

31/12/2023: We went for lunch, we had: 2 starters, 3 first courses including white risotto with parmesan, 1 water, 1 coffee and a bottle of wine. 117 euros. The white risotto 15 euros, completely bland, the rest of the first courses objectively good. We ask for more bread, the first basket was brought to us with a welcome prosecco, the second basket arrives with already torn bread. They justify themselves by saying that it was the leftover from our first basket which was instead sent back empty. The moral? If you want to make people believe that it is a high-level restaurant, it must be so in all its services. For me it was disappointing.

04/04/2024: Very kind and professional staff, welcoming owners, good raw materials although perhaps I was expecting something more intense in terms of local flavours. I tried the platter, the escarole and the artichoke. Tastefully renovated place, perhaps it lacks a little "warmth" overall.

02/01/2024: Accolti con signorile calore, ci siamo subito sentiti a nostro agio, pur entrando in un luogo elegante (tipico del ristorante stellato) che potrebbe mettere soggezione. Una serie di entrée di grande raffinatezza e tutt’altro che banali hanno aperto le danze, per poi proiettarci in un luogo di eccellenza, con piatti presentati personalmente dal “capitano” chef Polito in persona. Il suo cappuccino è una genialata, da provare assolutamente. E poi tutto il resto, con materie prime di super qualità. Cibo eccellente, carta dei vini di tutto rispetto, signorilità e puntualità nel servizio. Rapporto qualità prezzo onesto. Mi stupisce che non ci sia la stella Michelin.

26/12/2023: Esperienza negativa. Servizio in sala inesistente, piatti al tartufo presentati malissimo e slegati di sapore e consistenza. Prezzi alti per una qualità di cibo, molto poco ricercato . Depennato

05/01/2024: Non si può definire una cena. È un viaggio, un’esperienza meravigliosa attraverso sapori e consistenze a cui non siamo abituati, uno stupirsi ad ogni boccone. Pesce di qualità altissima, trattato e cucinato con una cura, un’attenzione ed un’innovazione difficili da trovare in giro. Servizio cordiale, cortese e mai invadente. Singoli piatti spiegati alla perfezione anche dallo Chef, che trasmette amore e passione per quello che fa. Ambiente piccolo, intimo e molto curato. Io ed il mio compagno siamo rimasti estasiati, mi avete fatto passare una cena di compleanno meravigliosa. GRAZIE!

07/10/2023: Mia moglie la bimba ed io siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante ed è andata molto bene. Avevamo l'esigenza di cenare rapidamente visto che la bimba piccola non resiste molto a tavola ed hanno subito compreso la nostra esigenza venendoci incontro in tutto. Menù degustazione base davvero perfetto, tutto squisito! Lo chef ha un gran talento ed il personale di sala è attento, gentile, disponibile e preparato. Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale, abbiamo apprezzato che ci hanno offerto il baccalà mantecato per la bimba. Buona carta dei vini, locale intimo e curato. Bravi, bravi, bravi. Assolutamente consigliato, torneremo presto.
