18/08/2025: We visited the Pienzenau Restaurant in Merano on a balmy summer evening last week and were thrilled from the start. The stunning location, nestled between the vineyards and the old town of Merano, impressed us. The magnificent garden surrounding the property is a true gem and invites you to linger. Our seat on the terrace offered a wonderful view of the property and garden – a perfect setting for a special evening. The hostess and her team welcomed us warmly, immediately creating a familiar and homely atmosphere. Culinary delights left nothing to be desired: We enjoyed a fantastic three-course menu that will remain with us forever. The taste, quality, and presentation were of the highest standard. The team was also perfectly prepared for my gluten-free requests – without any prior notice. We would especially like to mention the young ladies in the waiting room – incredibly attentive, courteous, and always warm. All in all, it was an evening we will cherish for a long time to come. 15/03/2026: A very nice hotel, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The common areas are very well-maintained, and the rooms are exceptionally clean. We opted for half-board, and the dinner was always excellent and varied. The spa area with pool, Turkish bath, and sauna is also very nice. The owners are extremely polite and always available, as is all the staff. We've stayed in several 4-star hotels in Madonna di Campiglio, but this hotel is every bit as good as the superior ones! Highly recommended!

02/12/2025: We stopped here for a quick lunch during our stay in Moena. We ate well; the dishes were simple but tasty. The place is very small, so unfortunately, it can be difficult to find a seat. The prices are perhaps a little high, but overall, I would return.

22/02/2026: We've been there twice for lunch, and I'd say it's excellent. The food is divine, the waiters are super attentive, and the service is impeccable. Stunning view of Lake Levico. The best restaurant in Levico, with prices in line with everything else. Congratulations, we'll be happy to return.

23/01/2026: Over priced for the food quality, the starter where mostly fine, I would not recommend the winter greens, a nice option for vegetarians but would not go for it again. I found the main course, Tagliata with mushrooms to be bland and the meat tough. Perhaps just bad luck but for a sitting that cost 100€ I had higher expectations. My friends went for the fondue and from what I tasted of it it was nothing special. As for the atmosphere, we all thought that it looked nice but most complained that it was to hot in the room we were sitting and you could feel the the stale air. More ventilation is needed if you should have that many ppl and fondue pots in the same room.

20/01/2026: We order steak and ravioli. First with the positive cant say anything about ravioli they were good. About the steak first it came in raw(we ordered medium) it wqs super chewy, wrongly cut, and 0 taste. We at least asked if this is medium and they admited and being it back to kitchen. Than they bringed it back and gave us medium well more like well. We tried to eat it since i know there is no save at this time but it was still super chewy and with even less taste. So we left around 3/5 of the steak. We waitied like 20 minutes befoee somebody noticed us we finished ( the waitress walk around us many times and than stand in the back) After 20 minutes she came and didnt as anything, she lookes completly cool with that we left mroe than half steak, not a word if the food was good anything only if we want deserve. When im paying 60+ euros per one food in luxury 5 star hotel i would expect a top quality. I get that something can be wrong with the meat or it can be just error . But what really makes me sad is that the waitress didnt even care.

10/03/2026: A very disappointing experience. The staff (or perhaps the owner) were extremely rude and impolite. It was as if the presence of customers were almost a nuisance rather than the foundation of their work. The overall atmosphere was unpleasant. Unfortunately, the food didn't improve the situation. The pizza had very low-quality ingredients, tasted less fresh, and was completely unappetizing, as were the gnocchi. Overall, a truly negative experience, both in terms of service and food quality. There are much better places to eat and feel welcome.

22/02/2026: Recommended if you're in the area. A single dish will fill you up, and the prices aren't excessive considering the area. Convenient parking.

16/10/2025: A modern and chic restaurant with a great view, a cozy ambiance, a very pleasant atmosphere, top-notch service, and fantastic food. The selection is large enough to cater to vegetarians. The food was technically well-executed and everything was spot-on. The portions were pleasantly large despite the supposed fine dining expectations. All in all, an absolute recommendation.

07/02/2026: So, everything is PERFECT!!!!! THE BOSS IS ALWAYS IN A HURRY AND MAKES THE RESTAURANT THE WAY THE CUSTOMERS WANT IT.... THE SERVANTS, EVERYONE, ARE VERY ACCOMMODATE AND VERY, VERY POLITE. HATS OFF, EVERYTHING IS SENSATIONAL!!!!!!!!

27/01/2026: We love coming back here. Just for the lasagna alone – it's absolutely divine, simply to die for. The atmosphere is fantastic too. Whether you're sitting outside or inside, it's pure Italy.

06/11/2025: The food was delicious; I loved the dish pictured and was completely satisfied, as was the appetizer (octopus carpaccio). The only flaw is the rushed waiters; as other people have written, it almost seems like they're trying to clear the table as quickly as possible, even when there are only a few people in the restaurant. I'd recommend letting customers breathe a little more (with some limitations, of course). Aside from that, if you're in Riva and don't know where to eat, I highly recommend this restaurant.

12/02/2026: For my lunch break at the office, I ordered some vegetables. They arrived very quickly, hot and delicious, accompanied by some slices of their warm, fragrant homemade bread. A very positive experience. I'll try eating there soon.

12/01/2026: Terrible. It's happened more than once that I've ordered pizza and it doesn't arrive on time, and sometimes the order doesn't ship, and if it arrives, it's cold. I don't recommend it. They used to deliver pizza very punctually, and it even arrived hot. It's a shame because the pizza is good, but the service is terrible.

Since I've seen in other reviews that many people have communication problems, I recommend simply writing down the phone numbers and giving them to them; then everything will go smoothly.

20/02/2026: Attracted by the butcher's shop window, we stopped in the cafe bistro. The mixed platter of cold cuts was superb. The spaetzle was good, and the mixed grill and sausages were excellent. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

02/02/2026: My husband and I came to see the magnificent butcher shop and have a bombardino at the Bistrot. Already fascinated by the place, we came for dinner. And the review was even more positive. Very kind waiters, varied menu, tasty food, prices in line with the standards of a high-end mountain resort. Excellent location 👍🏼
