26/10/2025: We stayed one night in conjunction with a theater event and were pleasantly surprised. We slept in an ancient castle with modern touches, very clean and comfortable. The dinner was excellent, featuring fresh ingredients and impeccable presentation. Eating by candlelight with a stunning view is truly captivating. The show was out of the ordinary, very special, and I'd call it magical. The price was fair. Finally, Sofia and the staff's hospitality made you feel right at home. I highly recommend it.

20/02/2026: We were pleased to get a table for dinner during a busy time in the valley (Olympics) but that was the good thing. We had two very bland turkey schnitzels that were basically just a salty chicken nugget. Decent fries. Staff were alarmingly efficient - it felt like a rushed cafeteria. Maybe we made a bad food choice - the pizzas looked decent.

19/02/2026: A very large pizzeria spread over two levels. As a result, it was quite crowded. However, we got a good table downstairs. Overall, the food was good and tasty, except for the onion roast beef, which wasn't what we expected. It was a very thick piece of meat, cooked pink, similar to a steak. We discussed this with the owner afterward. The service was pleasant and friendly, and the food arrived very quickly, even though the pizzeria was packed.

02/01/2026: We were here on New Year's Day after a hike and enjoyed delicious apple strudel and mango cake. The service was very friendly.

08/03/2026: We stopped for lunch. The staff were friendly and the place was welcoming. The dishes were excellent and plentiful. The venison and rabbit were good, as were the strudels.

11/03/2026: WOW!! We spent our vacation here and were thrilled. The style of the house is simply beautiful. The estate is in a very quiet location and offers every comfort. The highlights are the excellent cuisine and the new swimming pool. The pool is especially perfect for relaxing after a hike in the mountains. The hosts are incredibly friendly and fulfill every wish. We've already booked for next year.

15/01/2026: We had a wonderful time at Ansitz Romani to celebrate the end of the year and the arrival of 2026. The beautiful location with stunning views of the mountains and the Adige Valley, the very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the tastefully decorated rooms (we stayed in the old building), a fantastic New Year's Eve menu with a lovely finish on the terrace, and the consistently surprising and extensive breakfast all make us want to return soon.

11/02/2026: Bad experience. We booked ahead. When we arrived, they told us we had to sit in the basement... my friend, who had been there before, asked if she could have one of the remaining tables on the main floor, but they annoyed us. So they seated us in an area on the left side of the entrance, which was really annoying from an acoustic standpoint, as well as visually very different from the "mountain" atmosphere we'd chosen when booking here, as well as upstairs, for an evening of conversation. It felt like the child from the table next to us was sitting at the table because of the terrible acoustics (no doubt because there's a vaulted ceiling there that bounces noise back into the center). We asked to be moved. The extremely annoyed waiter went up to call the manager, who came to us and, after our insistence, moved us to the basement. The acoustics there were acceptable. The waiter was brusque and impatient when he took our order... it looked like they'd already sold out... but it was only 7:25 PM!! They brought us a pizza, then he said it wasn't ours, which can happen, so he took it away annoyed. Finally, he brought another... while we were cutting it, he came back and said it wasn't ours... at which point we said it was fine anyway, never mind. Halfway through the evening, the manager was polite and asked if everything was okay. Finally, the waiter came back for dessert, with the menu, and we said we didn't want it. A waitress came back and asked if we wanted dessert, we said no, and I can't describe the annoyed and rude look on the girl's face, who then walked away. For two salads and a pizza, we spent 65 euros. We won't be returning. The food was good, though; perhaps the price was a bit high, but if you eat well and in a nice location, it's reasonable. In a basement, with the rudeness of the staff and all that confusion, however, we felt it was excessive.

09/02/2026: Restaurant serving traditional cuisine and excellent pizzeria. Locally brewed beers are also available. Excellent, fast, and attentive service.

14/03/2026: Overall, a negative experience. The food was okay, nothing special. The beer was below expectations, but that may depend on your taste. When you get to the cashier and find a young woman who's rude, arrogant, and incapable of managing a large table, the evening is inevitably ruined. They don't charge a separate bill, but all you have to do is assert yourself a little, push them around, and in the end, you walk out paying what you owe. Pretty ridiculous.

21/12/2025: All staff were very friendly throughout the stay. The rooms are fine, nothing extraordinary, but perfectly adequate. What really stands out is the location — right by the lake with true ski-in / ski-out access, which is excellent. The spa is beautiful, the food is outstanding, well above typical hotel standards, and they also have a wine cellar with a knowledgeable sommelier who can recommend very good wines. A great stay thanks to the setting, service, wellness area, and food quality. Highly recommended.

17/11/2025: Everything is new and very clean. The sauna, swimming pool, and whirlpool are perfect for relaxation. The hosts are very welcoming, and dogs are welcome. The food is excellent – ​​all in all, a wonderful stay.
