10/06/2025: Beautiful experience: the castle was taken over thanks to the initiative of the citizens of Pergine and can now be visited. The bar, restaurant and hotel services have been recovered and continued in this fairy-tale setting. Unlike what you might imagine, the prices are truly 'popular' as there is no luxury and the hotel structure is very simple, within the reach of all those who are not looking for luxury but a truly extraordinary experience in a real and historic manor. The offer of various types of events that can be enjoyed throughout the year is also very interesting. Truly, congratulations and infinite thanks to all those who have been able to make this wonderful recovery possible.

01/06/2025: Today we took a guided tour of the castle, the volunteer who acted as our guide was kind, knowledgeable and available to answer questions and curiosities. The castle is beautiful, with breathtaking views. We will return to try the hotel and restaurant, only one star because it has no TV in the rooms and poor Wi-Fi, it seemed crazy to us, the beauty of the rooms and the hotel does not need either. 05/05/2025: About 20-25 minutes walk from the center of Bressanone (uphill) there is this farm surrounded by nature with a wonderful view of Bressanone and the valleys... we were immediately welcomed by the very kind and helpful waiters (unlike what I read from other reviews)... we tasted various dishes such as a platter with speck cured meats and different types of cheeses, some of which were very particular... accompanied by different types of bread, one of which was fennel. very good. We then had an excellent goulash soup and a trio of first courses with spinach dumpling, some crescents (I don't remember the exact name) again filled with spinach and a cheese dumpling. Homemade first courses excellent as is all their cuisine. The dish with speck eggs and potatoes is also excellent. For desserts we took a Bavarian cream and a chocolate pudding with cream and strawberries, good (especially the cream) but not at the level of the savory dishes. Mixed platter, goulash soup, trio of first courses, eggs with speck and potatoes, two desserts, 2 bottles of water and a half of wine 78 euros.

03/05/2025: Very beautiful farm where we had lunch enjoying truly delicious and genuine typical Trentino dishes, from starters to desserts, at a more than honest price. Thanks to the owner who allowed us to park the camper to visit the splendid Bressanone. Massai family.

30/05/2025: We spent a couple nights at Bandus Braci e Pizza while in town for a work event. I cannot say enough good things about the staff for accommodating our group - even when they got a little noisy near the bar! The food was amazing and this is a solid recommendation to stop in and try Bandus if you are in the area!

27/02/2025: Vale la pena certamente di raggiungere Sarentino perchè Braunwirt merita una visita. Abbiamo scelto la degustazione di 4 portate a scelta dello chef già riportate nel menù, per le quali comunque viene chiesto se vi siano alimenti non graditi, così da evitare brutte sorprese. Partiti con vari pani di loro produzione, in accoppiamento a 3 tipologie di burro squisiti, a seguire le quattro portate comprendenti un tartare indimenticabile, piatti squisiti, complessi, esteticamente perfetti. Carta dei vini non particolarmente estesa, ma ricercata comprendente anche proposte, insolite, del territorio (vignaioli indipendenti). Servizio ottimo, conto nella norma considerando la qualità complessiva. Unica piccola pecca il locale, in effetti non di mio particolare gradimento per la vicinanza dei tavoli e le sedute, così da sentirsi più a Milano che non in Alto Adige, ma è un dettaglio.

23/02/2025: Che dire un esperienza davvero interessante, capitati per caso, abbiamo pranzato per la prima volta un sabato di dicembre, ci siamo tornati per due domeniche di febbraio consecutive con degli amici. 10/05/2025: I didn't stay, but had dinner. Impeccable service in an elegant and refined building renovated to perfection. Small but adequate dishes with original and never cloying combinations, well presented. Enviable wine list. A quality restaurant at a correct cost. Optimal.

20/05/2025: Located in the center of Trento, Rosa D'oro is an elegant and welcoming restaurant/pizzeria. The kitchen offers typical and traditional dishes of Trentino and Italian cuisine. The pizzas are good and digestible. Wide assortment of wines and beers. More than fair prices and good quality! Recommended!

12/05/2025: We went to this restaurant twice during our stay in Trento because of the great food and very friendly staff. The food is made with care and love, and it takes a while before it's served, which is a good sign. The portions are large and very reasonable priced. The housewine is tasty and the prosecco (only 3 euro for a glass!) is well recommended. The menu is both Italian and Tirolese. We were served by a very friendly waiter who knew a lot about the menu. The restaurant is situated in a great cellar which creates a cosey atmosphere. Definitely recommended, and we got a limonchello from the house!

10/06/2025: We stayed in March 2025 in this beautiful family-run hotel and we were thrilled in every aspect. The services are impeccable, the room was spacious and offered a breathtaking view of the Dolomites, completely immersed in nature. The cuisine is truly special, with carefully prepared and genuine dishes, and the shuttle service is always available and very convenient for every need. We went with our 15-month-old baby and he also had a great time: all the staff was welcoming and attentive, and there was a playroom perfect for the little ones. The SPA is another strong point of the hotel, with a spectacular view of the mountains that makes every moment of relaxation even more magical. A stay that we will carry in our hearts and that we truly recommend to those looking for a holiday dedicated to comfort, nature and genuine hospitality.

18/03/2025: Beautiful place a little outside the center but wonderfully served by the shuttle driven by the friendly Andrea. The room, perhaps room 305, was beautiful, the spa managed by a very kind and knowledgeable lady, the wonderful cuisine. Overall, a 10 and praise. Well done! However, never forget the key 😅

08/06/2025: Super pizza (Empfehlung: Contadino). Sehr freundlicher Service. Mit Gruß aus der Küche. Faire Preise. Allerdings kaum Nudeln auf der Speisekarte.

17/05/2025: Food was not good, atmosphere is in a basement and rather claustrophobic. The staff were incredibly rude and was not knowledgeable with the menu. I would not recommend this establishment.

23/06/2025: The Messnerwirt in Oberolang impresses with its hospitality, good service, and clean rooms. The food is also impressive. Particularly noteworthy is the homemade cake, which is available fresh every afternoon as part of the half-board package. A garage (with power outlets) for bicycles is also available. The city bus, which runs directly in front of the hotel every half hour, is also particularly convenient. If you want to relax after a hike or bike ride, you can do so either on the large terrace with a cold drink or on one of the sun loungers in the garden. The Swiss pine schnapps was also particularly good :)

22/03/2025: We went for dinner on the last day of the season. The restaurant was quiet and they were missing several dishes from the menu, but the ones we tried were delicious. The attention was very good.

15/06/2025: Fantastic place, we were there 3 days in a row with large groups. Servers Eddy and Sabrina were extremely kind, efficient and helpful. In 3 days we tried burgers, pizza and traditional dishes with polenta. All really good, great job!

15/06/2025: Table of 20 people, very fast and friendly service! We ranged from pizza to complete dishes with local products, to the 850gr shank with polenta, highly recommended! Obviously a wide selection of beer, you can't go wrong with that! A restaurant for all seasons and for all budgets, well done!

04/06/2025: A truly worthwhile excursion! Starting with the Hochmuth lift, you'll enjoy spectacular views of Merano and the Etschtal Valley along the way. From the mountain station, a beautiful, approximately 25-minute hiking trail leads to the Talbauer – easy and well-signposted. Once you arrive at the Talbauer, you'll be greeted with warm hospitality and fantastic South Tyrolean cuisine. The dumplings are a particular highlight – fresh, homemade, and simply delicious. The service was also attentive, quick, and extremely friendly. After refreshments, you'll leisurely continue the approximately 3 km return journey to the valley station, accompanied by stunning panoramas. Conclusion: A perfect half-day excursion with guaranteed enjoyment – ​​nature, good food, and great people. Highly recommended!
