05/11/2025: Really confused about the reviews. We were looking forward to eating here, but the food is at best average. Especially the salmone al miele and the salad are made of low quality ingredients and nothing special. We saw some disappointed faces around us as well. Service is great, but the food needs some improvement.

04/11/2025: It was/is outstanding! We shared an appetizer and then each had a second course (grilled squid with potato and swordfish). We also had a bottle of red wine (Chiano Conti). All in all, we were very satisfied. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was superb! Now we're ordering dessert... we're looking forward to it. Thank you!

04/11/2025: Pasquale our server was excellent - even though we arrived closed to closing he took his time with us and we never felt rushed. He provided great recommendations and perfect service. And the toilets are great

30/10/2025: Ate here on a Monday evening and I was one of two tables sat in the entire place and was the last to leave which made for a pretty flat experience. It’s a gorgeous restaurant tucked away in a courtyard across the street from Palazzo di Normanni. Staff were very friendly. I had the carbonara and I found it too salty.

26/10/2025: Fantastic food and very friendly staff. We had a carbonara and a vegetarian pasta with orange zest and both dishes were magically delicious. Tiramisu for dessert, so well balanced. The house white and red were also full of flavour and smooth. Unfortunately it was just us and another couple there so it felt a bit lonely but that was definitely compensated by a very attentive and friendly waiter. We can really recommend a visit here!

09/11/2025: Walked in at 2pm on a Sunday with no reservation, and they said they couldn't serve us, they had no tables. There was a long, empty table (or tables) right inside the door downstairs. All we wanted was pasta and maybe lasagna, but I wasn't going to try to question or argue in English nor Italian. No thank you. Skip this place if you can. They tried to apologize but not worth our time. Bad service. Bad place. Recommended by our hotel then denied service. Better places all around.

06/11/2025: A pleasant lunch break right after the motorway exit, where you can eat meat and fish... I personally enjoyed an excellent fish-based first course.

But Il Normanno was the highlight, from the quiet location in a side street to the masterful cuisine with all the richness of Sicilian flavors to the personal and humorous service from a competent team. The price is absolutely reasonable. Highly recommended!

22/03/2025: Great fine dining experience in Termini. I wanted to see the place months before I actually travelled there because I respect their vision and, of course, food looked great in all pictures. They were flexible enough to change my reservation even one hour before, as booking ahead sometimes can come with surprises. When I did manage to eat there, I found two great people, presenting the restaurant and the food in a simple, but meaningful way. Had the degustation menu and 3 wine pairing- food was excellent, all dishes. Some surprising tastes and textures, well balanced food. The wines they chose are the best I drank in Sicily, from Sicily. I recommend it with all my heart.

08/10/2025: Years ago, when you were with friends, you'd look for a restaurant or trattoria with three steps leading down; it was a guarantee of quality food. A confirmed tradition, I recommend the caciocavallo in a bread crust, the tagliolini alla Natale, or the fresh pasta with pork ragù. As always, it's best to come back for confirmation. Once again, we were completely satisfied.

28/10/2025: Beautiful to look at from the outside. Depending on the table, the seating in the covered part of the restaurant is a little strange. I had two starters, which were good, but very minimalist. Not much atmosphere inside; it's definitely better outside. High prices. But no cloth napkins!!! The best thing was the bread! Staff: Very quick, very polite. Not at all warm. Would I like to come back here again? Undecided. Because the experience was lacking.
