03/03/2025: This was a lovely dining experience in Cefalù. Our party of four came on a Sunday evening with a 7:30 PM reservation we made earlier that day. We arrived and were promptly seated. Davide was incredibly gracious and helpful. One of the folks in our party is vegetarian and he helped us out with some swaps to make some dishes vegetarian. He walked us through the specials and the wine options as well as some questions we had about some menu items. The food we had was all incredibly flavorful and we enjoyed each dish. The standouts were the chicken liver, Sicilian stuffed meat rolls, rigatoni al rustico, and the spaghetti with pesto & swordfish. The rabbit also came recommended from our hotel concierge, but there were too many good options to pass up! Highly recommend coming here and worth making a reservation as it is a very popular spot with all of the locals as well!

02/03/2025: They took great care of us, the service was super attentive. We ordered the onion soup, it came with spectacular butter. Carpaccio and a pasta. We accompany it with some beers. Perhaps compared to other places in Sicily, they were a bit pricey. But it is worth it without a doubt. Highly recommended restaurant.

24/01/2025: We went with my wife, I tried Shrimp Maccheroni and proseco (bottle). My wife ate boiled meat with red fruits, mashed potatoes and we paid 68€. We were very pleased with the food, the staff were very kind, caring and sympathetic. A nice restaurant in the historical city. The environment could have been more authentic. I can say that the chairs do not suit the quality of the restaurant.

08/01/2025: Ambiente elegante e sobrio. Servizio distinto con personale attento al cliente ma non invadente. Estetica delle portate cool ma la bontà dei piatti supera tutto. Risotto Acquerello è l'apoteosi dei sensi . Proprietario affabile e gentile. Lo consiglio!

05/01/2025: A very nice restaurant, with friendly waiters. The sommelier is also friendly and helpful, he recommends excellent wines and also a restaurant in Budapest, which is his Sicilian friend. We ate à la carte, everything was perfect. We have also been to a starred restaurant in Sicily, but for me Cortile Pepe was the best dining experience, surpassing all other restaurants. If you are in Cefalù, it is absolutely not to be missed!

12/02/2025: This restaurant is a real marvel. Nice quiet and tidy environment, nice and clean. Impeccable table service. The dishes are extremely good, with a delicate flavour. I would like to return just to try all the other dishes on the menu.

01/03/2025: Trattoria that made us happy and we returned twice. Palermo and the people of Palermo are extraordinary and even more so with carpaccio. It's worth going, we ate very well and the owner and staff were very kind.

01/12/2024: Amazing happy and energetic service to make us feel welcomed. 2 courses was little bit too intense with lack of balance for my personal taste. Like the pumpkin risotto with smoked duck breast or the pork cheeks with alot of strong and fatty flavours . I could have wished for a little more pungent and fresher kick than the curry mayo or something more sour than an sweet apple chutney. But the cheeks themselves were cooked to perfection. Great work, thanks for the evening.

16/11/2024: Palermo aveva bisogno del ritorno “a casa” del Charleston, nel cuore del centro città dove i ristoranti di questo livello si contano sulle dita di una mano. La nuova sede dell’ex bar Mazzara è elegantissima e la cucina è straordinaria, frutto degli studi dello chef Verde che si percepiscono in ogni piatto. Continuando così è certo che arriveranno tantissimi riconoscimenti. Ma la cosa più gradita del nuovo Charleston è l’incredibile clima, una coccola per il cliente: si respira davvero l’affiatamento tra tutti i componenti dello staff e da un ambiente del genere non possono che nascere cose altrettanto belle.

18/01/2025: I was there for a 50th anniversary and I can say that it was a very nice evening.....large room, well-kept furnishings, excellent table service, we dined with taste and plenty, space for 💃 🕺 💃 🕺.... it was a beautiful evening....

29/12/2024: We went to this restaurant several years ago and returned based on the good memories we had of it, which were in fact absolutely confirmed. For the children we had pasta with sauce, for us linguine with prickly pear and pistachio and a mixed grill + fried and baked potatoes. All extremely good, plentiful and tasty. The first one is full of sauce, pasta and meat cooked just right, the mutton is very tasty. Homemade bread, excellent. We will return on the next passage over there.

04/01/2025: Melhores de Palermo. Atendimento extremamente gentil pelo dono e pelos funcionários do restaurante. Ambiente muito acolhedor. Cadeiras basicamente boas Pratos deliciosas e na medida certa Carta de vinhos excelentes. Vale a pena voltar 👍👍👍

09/11/2024: Giovedì mi trovavo con mia moglie a Cefalù, e mi sono imbattuto per caso in questo ristorante, direi più che ottimo, personale gentilissimo e paccheri allo scoglio buonissimi. Lo consiglio vivamente.

05/02/2025: Optimal. Good atmosphere even if there was an unannounced Karaoke evening and therefore it was not possible to communicate. Truly fantastic food and wonderful service.

06/01/2025: Characteristic place where you can listen to Celtic music or live bands and be surrounded by peculiar furnishings. There is a huge choice of beers. However, we found an excessive amount for the burgers (e.g. €14 Oro burger, with pistachio). Two people spent €48 for two burgers (with a side of fries, the small basket - I attach photos), two 0.50cl beers and the cover charge (paper placemat, not tablecloth). It's objectively too much! We're not talking about slow food protection etc. Another critical issue is the lack of air exchange and unfortunately the smell of the bathroom scent product reaches the dining room and is not pleasant. The service is slow, as they slow down in the kitchen. The order is taken immediately, but there was a long wait before seeing the dishes arrive. The "expensive" burgers were also lukewarm/almost cold, hence the annoyance of paying so much to eat discreetly. So we will return for a beer, but not for dinner.

23/02/2025: Pranzo molto buono, esperienza positiva! Cantina così e cosi ma a detta del proprietario per via del recente ri-avvio delle attività dopo la pausa invernale. Servizio ok. Location molto carina con possibilità di tavoli all aperto.
