23/03/2025: During our stay in Agrigento 2023, SAL8 was our absolute favorite restaurant! Although there were no tables available at the beginning, we were warmly welcomed with a glass of Prosecco - a really successful start. The entire experience was first class: from the starter to the main course to the dessert, everything was excellent. Particularly noteworthy is the swordfish with pistachio crust – a culinary highlight! The service was consistently attentive and friendly, and all at very fair prices. If you are in Agrigento, you should not miss this restaurant – a clear recommendation!

23/03/2025: @Google, please add one more star for this type of restaurant. It was a spectacular meal, delicious food, and a calm and pleasant atmosphere. As for the service, it's hard to improve. We came with a friend who's allergic to nuts, and they were super attentive and even brought desserts just for him without charging us extra. The price, without hesitation, was less than €50 per person. Perfect value for money.

23/03/2025: This is the best restaurant in Italy! Beautiful place with amazing food! And the hostess lady is an angel! My family dined two nights in a row when we were there. My daughter very much enjoyed the mango sorbet on the house.🩷

07/03/2025: Dit restaurant is fantastisch. Het interieur is smaakvol ingericht en de bediening is supervriendelijk. We dronken een lekkere fles Frappato (rode wijn), kregen brood met heerlijke olijfolie en dan namen we lekkere pasta en nadien superlekkere zwaardvis. De gerechten zijn een tikje origineel en heel smakelijk. Goede prijs kwaliteitsverhouding. Ook willen ze voor kinderen een apart gerecht maken. Absolute aanrader als je iets verfijnder wil eten zonder te duur te zijn.

31/03/2025: We stumbled upon this hidden gem in a quaint, slightly abandoned village. On a Sunday evening, the place was eerily quiet, but the food was absolutely delectable. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, with the Caponata being a standout. The waiter was not only polite but also very engaging, making our dining experience even more enjoyable.

18/03/2025: Everything is really right here. Feel-good atmosphere with a good mix of locals and tourists. Friendly, unobtrusive service with friendly staff and a short personal conversation with each guest. And the food... fantastic!!!

14/03/2025: A wonderful end to our vacation in Sicily. At Cortile Pepe we enjoyed the best cuisine in two weeks in Sicily. We had the vegetarian menu and the Conosciamoci menu..Excellent! Very attentive service, very friendly patron Toti. Solid atmosphere, reasonable price-performance ratio. We'll be back.

20/02/2025: The restaurant looks nice, our young waiter is extremely friendly and speaks good English. When we point out that the prosecco no longer has bubbles, the owner openly reprimands the waiter and, without apology, has the waiter pour a new glass from an unopened bottle. When taking the order, the owner suddenly walks away and returns a few minutes later without apologies. The owner is clearly disinterested and goes to work at a table in a fairly empty restaurant with his back to you. The food looks nice, but doesn't taste special, simple sauce and vegetables. Too expensive for what you get.

21/03/2025: A fantastic fish couscous, an excellent eggplant caponata, delicious desserts, and to finish a magnificent limoncello. Even the sparkling white wine on sale, the Charme, is highly recommended for those who appreciate sweet wines.

12/03/2025: It was average. Not bad but also not excellent. We had excellent pizza in Sicily, that’s why we were a bit underwhelmed - especially because of the great reviews. The dough is good but the quality of the toppings (especially the Mortadella) could be better. The Ketchup and Mayonnaise on the table send off a bit American touristy vibes. I wouldn’t go again.

25/09/2024: Esposa y yo hemos visitado La Caravella muchas veces a lo largo de los años, Dominic y su equipo siempre nos han cuidado mucho y nos trataron como familia. Durante esta visita pasamos cuatro días disfrutando del paisaje y almuerzos tranquilos. Las tumbonas de playa están muy bien espaciadas y tiene una sombrilla bien anclada para proporcionar sombra si se desea. Su equipo nos recogería en nuestro hotel Taormina y nos transportaría a la playa donde nos recibirían y nos mostrarían nuestros lugares para el día. Camine unos pasos hacia atrás hasta el restaurante cubierto donde el menú es bastante grande y variado, a un precio razonable y la comida siempre deliciosa. El servicio es siempre amable, eficiente y atento. Al final del día el transporte de Dominic nos lleva de vuelta a nuestro hotel. Gracias a Dominic y a todo el equipo por otra maravillosa visita de varios días!

13/09/2024: Gran experiencia en la playa. La Caracalla nos recogió con su lanzadera y nos llevó al club de playa. Incluido en nuestro precio era el servicio de transporte, 2 sillas y una sombrilla. La playa estaba limpia y el mar claro. Tuvimos un almuerzo fabuloso en el restaurante y el propietario nos organizó un viaje en barco por la zona. Muy recomendable.

30/10/2024: You sit a little apart in a very nice atmosphere. The restaurant is run with passion and the food is worth the price! We have rarely eaten so well. Don't be afraid to come here with children, the chef is also ready to prepare pasta with tomato sauce for the little ones 😊 Absolutely recommended in all respects!
