04/04/2025: Of the dinner I only appreciated the bombette with friarielli. Very small and tasteless lamb rolls, the rib eye tough and cold (at a cost of 55 euros per kg!!!) Too high a bill for what we ate! Beautiful location.

09/03/2025: We returned because we had a good time the first time. But the second time was a BIG TAKE! Clarity and honesty on the explanations of the starters and raw seafood NON-EXISTENT, definitely raw seafood not from the place, long stretches passed off for 4 people full of ice not even satisfying 2, INEDUCATION of a particular manager and as the icing on the cake paid for a plate of orecchiette with sauce for a child who luckily ate only that €15. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, OVERRATED PLACE!

31/01/2025: We, a couple, had lunch here twice during our week in Vieste. The first time it was randomly chosen, but we were treated to a fabulous meal consisting of 2 appetizers followed by spaghetti with mussels in a tomato and olive oil sauce and a grilled orata. Everything was done perfectly and generously served. The dessert was a chocolate soufflé with a pistachio filling. The second time was the piece de resistance. We preordered the zuppa di pesce, a combination of different local fishes in a rich broth with tiny vegetables and bread, in order to give the chef time to gather the ingredients. The broth was rich with the taste of the mixture of the five different fishes plus shrimp, mussels, clams and calamari. It was served in a giant vessel with grilled bread drenched with olive oil. It was the perfect zuppa and its memory will live on in my mind together with the kindness of Chef Elia who shared his philosophy of cooking with us. It was an experience that made our visit to Vieste a jewel that will shine on.

31/03/2025: My experience was not very positive for a simple reason without taking anything away from your wonderful RESTAURANT EXCELLENT AND VERY PLEASANT FOR ALL BUT CONGRATULATIONS TO MY TABLE (UNFORTUNATELY I HAPPENED TO A VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL WAITER HE WAS VERY HURRY HE TAKED THE PLATES AWAY IMMEDIATELY, HE POURED ME A TRAY OF FISH SAUCE ON MY WHITE SHIRT IN A HURRY TO TAKE THE PLATES AWAY. OTHERWISE MY EXPERIENCE WAS POSITIVE CONGRATULATIONS AND BEAUTIFUL ELEGANT AND DISTINCT I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY, I JUST WANTED TO SPECIFY THIS SMALL DETAIL 💪

16/03/2025: I don't think I can, just in words, describe what "our day" was for us thanks to Giuseppe and his staff! 5 stars are not enough... we were looking for a location by the sea, our sea, but none of them gave us that "wow" we wanted! With Augustus it was love at first sight! It was her, our location, perfect for our "yes". Giuseppe was a true host, from the first moment, that hot, torrid, July 21, 2023, in which he welcomed us to understand and talk about our needs. That availability and that attention, I think are rare to find like this! After 9 months, there is not a guest who still does not remember the wonder of everything, from the location, the sea view, the organization and above all, absolutely, the quality of the food... the fish, that fresh fish that tasted of the sea in your mouth! A flavor still alive in everyone's memories! The availability to welcome us already the previous evening to stay and then settle us on site in two different rooms on the wedding day ... the little attentions of Rosario and Francesca (the Wedding planner offered by them) made the big difference! The square of the lights was unique! Salento in the heart and in the eyes! We can't wait to return for our anniversary and who knows, even for other events! Thank you Giuseppe and thank you Augustus for giving us our greatest emotions for the day of our yes!

13/04/2025: The pizza and pasta were good but without any wow factor. Unfortunately, the service was terribly poor. What was also bad was that we could only order 4 pastas. When you come somewhere, you want to try as many things as possible. It's also a bit expensive, which leaves a bad taste, especially when you look at the service, which is seriously not impressive. It feels like they want you to get out of there as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it, there are better places in Bari.

From the first bite you understand the quality of the ingredients: light and fragrant dough, impeccable cooking and very fresh condiments. The menu offers an incredible variety of pizzas, from classic to more creative, all prepared with great care. The service is impeccable: courteous, helpful and always smiling staff, capable of making every customer feel special. The atmosphere is welcoming, perfect both for an evening with friends and for a romantic dinner. And then the prices? Absolutely honest for the quality offered! If you love pizza, you absolutely must try this pizzeria: it will be impossible not to return!

26/03/2025: It was a fantastic experience to walk through the area, the castle, and the restaurant with the owner's guidance. Since 1600, the 100-hectare property with olive trees and the beautiful castle has been passed down from generation to generation. The area and the building are breathtaking, especially when lit up at night. In the restaurant, we take part in a fantastic multi-course dinner, accompanied by a performance by dancers. Every course of the dinner was perfect, the evening was a real experience.

05/11/2024: I can only review the restaurant as we were there for dinner only. I had seen a lot about this place in social media so at first I was sceptical as the instagrammable places usually end up being disappointing BUT Masseria Salamina absolutely met and exceeded all expectations! The pasta was done to perfection and the fish (according to my boyfriend) was perfectly tender. And of course how can I miss the stunning atmosphere in the courtyard- spectacular! We would love to come back and stay overnight!

01/04/2025: Amazing food at a restaurant with amazing seafood! Happened to drive by and decided to stop in. So glad I did! Friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of wine! Perfect in every way. A must if visiting Monopoli!

30/03/2025: Extremely high prices. The customer should have the right to know all the prices (even those off the menu). It is absolutely rude to arrive at the cashier and discover surprises on the bill.

30/03/2025: If you walk 2-3 minutes to the left along the main street before entering the Trulli Zone in Alberobello, you will see it on your right. This is a representative restaurant in Puglia that continued to receive one Michelin star for many years until a few years ago. Recently, the restaurant has been divided into a Ristorante and an Osteria, and you can choose whichever you prefer. At the Osteria, you can enjoy traditional Puglia dishes such as orecchiette in a casual setting, and at the Ristorante, you can enjoy traditional Puglia dishes with a modern twist. Of particular note is the wine, which boasts one of the best collections in Italy. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting in Alberobello. They are understanding of Japanese people and the service is excellent! The photo shows Cima di rapa (rapeseed blossom) ravioli, one of the courses at the Ristorante, and Cima di rapa orecchiette at the Osteria. There are two entrances in the same building, so choose whichever you prefer. There are much fewer Japanese people in Alberobello than there used to be. This is a rare restaurant that is just right for Japanese tastes and stomach capacity.

21/03/2025: I don't usually leave reviews, but this restaurant deserves it. A perfect union between traditional and classic products, a good wine list and excellent desserts. We had grilled scamorze, local cheeses and capocollo di Martina Franca with burrata, and then continued with the historic and wonderful bombette made here to perfection. Folk atmosphere, from the flooring to the choice of tables, to the chandeliers and details here and there on the walls, which make it very much a tavern for travellers.
