14/08/2024: First, bread and welcome champagne are provided. Jinggu ordered seafood pasta and I ordered grilled octopus, but mine was so so so... it took me a very long time to chew. The seafood pasta I took a few bites of was delicious. The table next to me was eating a huge fish and it looked very delicious.

07/08/2024: During our stay in Puglia I did my search for recognized restaurants in the Polignaro a Mare and Bari area. I found this Michelin recommendation from the La Bul restaurant in Bari and we were definitely delighted with the treatment of chef Antonio Scalera and his sommelier. We chose the dark and amorios tasting menus with the wine list that goes with each dish. The combination of flavors in each of the dishes was delicious. The wines , original from Puglia region, for the menu were very good . The restaurant also has an a la carte menu. We have tasted restaurants with Michelin stars in the US and Europe and this restaurant has nothing to envy them!!! It is excellent!! And the prices are very reasonable compared to prices in the US. Definitely the best food I have eaten in this area. If you are going to be in the Polignaro a Mare or Bari area, I highly recommend this culinary gem!!!

Very generous and tasty dishes with explanations between each dish. I recommend for a romantic evening away from tourists 🥰

I particularly appreciated veal chops in sauce with bread meatballs Friendly Staff: The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I felt really comfortable throughout the meal it is a restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic cuisine in Alberobello in a welcoming and characteristic atmosphere.

06/08/2024: If you like meat, EAT HERE! Best ribeye I've ever had. Sausage was excellent. Braciole very good. Tad slow in cooking but the best meat dinner I've eaten

11/08/2024: There is no doubt about this place! We got there through advice received from the owner of the Il Ritrovo bar which is not far away. We had a fish-based dinner, and I must say that the dishes, in addition to being good, were not small. The staff who served us were very kind, both in seating us and in providing service. A place that definitely deserves one or more stops.

24/07/2024: My family and I had dinner here, we chose antipasti for starters, pizzas for main course and risotto. Everything was delicious and plentiful, the experience is minimally overshadowed by the fact that there were suddenly a lot of people after us, and the staff had little time for us. The menu could also be in English, it would make the choice easier for foreigners.

22/07/2024: Authentic Italian food as it should be! It’s like eating at grandma home. Simple, tasty and comforting food. It will be my first stop next time I’m in Bari.

Heavy and difficult to digest dough, watered down by mozzarella. Disproportionate waiting times. Inadequate prices, €5 for a small bowl of olives and an equally small bowl of tarallini. €8 for a bruschetta with industrial croutons. The environment remains pleasant. 3 stars of encouragement in the hope that we will return to the past. Prices up, quality down.
