31/03/2024: First of all, I feel it is my duty to honor and thank the staff who were able to manage a crowded place on Easter Sunday. Always with kindness, friendliness and a smile. Really good. Cuisine, food, wines, all excellent. Location: an excellently restored 16th century building. With beautiful fireplaces. A place to recommend.

10/03/2024: What can I say...AUGUSTUS RESORT is the Resort par excellence....we can safely say that it represents SALENTO. Beautiful location, enchanting place on the sea of Santa Cesarea Terme between the backdrop of Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca....Everything perfect, impeccable and abundant cuisine....the flavor of the sea in the dishes. The staff are really kind and professional, and then they, Giuseppe, a fabulous person and very available in every way... an owner who acts like a brother... and then HER... LUCIA... there are no words for describe all our admiration and thanks. She was beside us throughout the organization of our wedding... at all hours... for any time. Our guests from the Brindisi area who did not know the location were left speechless and have already fallen in love with their upcoming events. In short, all the staff made our day more beautiful in a dream that doesn't deserve to sleep to be lived.... Chapeau and thanks to all of you... Thank you so much 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

06/04/2024: Very welcoming restaurant located in the historic center of Lecce, well looked after, dining room staff and owners make you feel at home, well prepared dishes that vary from local cuisine to the most refined dishes with quality products. Fish always fresh and prepared to the minute, Acquerello Carnaroli rice, fine truffles and porcini mushrooms, homemade desserts, make this place a stop to be respected when visiting the splendor of Lecce Baroque. The quality/price ratio is positively surprising and truly relevant. The wine list is excellent and extensive, Apulian, national and international, congratulations I recommend it to everyone and we will return soon.

02/11/2023: I was with friends at the restaurant, a terrace overlooking the sea in an enchanting bay among the most beautiful in Salento. Romantic and enchanting evening. The cuisine is excellent with carefully prepared dishes and very fresh fish. The staff is friendly and professional and the service is fast. The view alone is worth a visit

20/02/2024: The chef has changed, with a change in the menu. I was going for the cuttlefish ink tagliolini which unfortunately they eliminated!! However, I find it negative that a restaurant does not have bottles of mineral water available, but only has microfiltered water. Therefore I find that the quality is progressively reversing with the increase in prices. Sin!!!
07/01/2024: Leaves a bit of a bad taste in the mouth. Beautiful, historic location, but the service has worsened compared to last time. The food should be reviewed: the starters are disappointing and expensive; the first one (tagliolini with seafood) was very good, well seasoned and cooked correctly; terrible dessert (a lemon sorbet that tasted like powdered citric acid). Maybe I wasn't very lucky.

16/02/2024: The location is beautiful if you go in the summer, it's perfect. Overlooking the sea. Inside it's in need of a bit of TLC. It seems dusty and old. No background music so lacked atmosphere. The staff were very kind and helpful until we had a problem. We opted for the filet steak but it was as tough as old boots and very dry, even though it was cooked medium, rare. I don't believe it was a filet as I've never had one so dry and tasteless. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she said she'll inform the chef...... We never saw her again and we were left waiting to order something edible..... 20 minutes pasted before we got to brooch the problem again. This was not acceptable and ruined our romantic, Saint Valentine's day.

Il perchè di questa affermazione sarà oscuro per i milanesi, ma chiarissimo per i non milanesi.
25/12/2023: Pochi giorni fa, per festeggiare una ricorrenza in famiglia, ho prenotato un tavolo in questo ristorante consigliatomi da un amico.
La location è accogliente (nonostante una Otranto deserta), il servizio cordiale e simpatico ma sempre discreto.
Abbiamo optato per un menu degustazione da 5 portate composto da assaggi di due antipasti, un primo, un secondo e un dolce a cui sono stati aggiunti un aperitivo iniziale e dei cioccolatini finali preparati in casa dalla chef. Viene chiesto di uniformare gli ordini di tutti i commensali. Particolari esigenze alimentari a parte per cui sono molto attenti e disponibili, quindi, si deve scegliere lo stesso piatto per tutti. La cucina è di buon livello, preparata con cura seppur senza particolari novità rispetto a quelle che sono le tendenze gastronomiche del momento.
L’unica vera nota stonata riguarda il dolce: è inaccettabile che un menu degustazione preveda, per quattro persone, due porzioni di dolci messe al centro del tavolo con quattro cucchiaini (senza nemmeno dei piattini a supporto). Soluzione più da trattoria che da ristorante di livello (e prezzo) medio-alto quale è.

08/11/2023: Ogni volta che siamo a Otranto ormai il profumo di mare è una tappa fissa! Piatti super gustosi e abbondanti. Ovviamente è un ristorante di pesce ma ci hanno servito anche dell'ottima carne! Ottimi vini e i dessert artigianali una delizia. Consigliato
