24/03/2026: A very special atmosphere. The dishes are all special. Each dish is served with a special, different one from the other. Everything is very good. I'm curious what it looks like from the outside. I only know the inside, which is truly beautiful. The day I was there, it was pouring with rain. But the evening was still a success!

30/03/2026: Kitchen Restaurant, part of the Sheraton Lake Como, is a truly outstanding fine dining destination that has held its Michelin star since 2015 — and after experiencing it, it’s very clear that it fully deserves it. What makes this place even more special is its unique setting. Although it belongs to the Sheraton, the restaurant itself is separate from the main hotel, located in a charming, renovated historic building surrounded by a small park. Dining here feels intimate and peaceful, with tables overlooking the greenery, creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere that perfectly complements the cuisine. The food is simply at a superlative level. We opted for the tasting menu (second version), and one detail I truly appreciated was the flexibility they offered. We were able to make small adjustments — in our case, replacing the pigeon with the catch of the day — and the team was more than happy to accommodate. This level of openness and attention to the guest experience is rare and highly appreciated. Every dish was flawless, from presentation to execution. The flavours were precise, balanced and deeply refined — the kind of cuisine where every detail matters and nothing is left to chance. It’s the type of experience where you remember not just the dishes, but the feeling of the entire meal. Considering the level of technique, ingredients and overall execution, the prices are very fair, especially for a Michelin-starred restaurant. Another highlight of the evening was the interaction with the kitchen team. The chefs came to our table, asked for feedback and offered additional insights about the dishes. This personal touch elevated the experience even further and showed genuine passion for their craft. Kitchen is not just a restaurant, but a complete fine dining experience — elegant, thoughtful and perfectly executed in every aspect. A must-visit in Como for anyone who appreciates high-level gastronomy.

05/03/2026: Food was absolutely lovely, 10/10. The service was also a perfect 10/10. The only thing that surpassed them were the host’s eyebrows, 11/10. The chef came out at the end, which made the evening even more special. Altogether, it made for a truly unforgettable experience.

03/03/2026: A special and intimate experience at Feel Como. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with comfortable seating and pleasant lighting that creates a lovely atmosphere. The gentleman serving us was highly professional and attentive, offering excellent recommendations throughout the meal. We began with a beautiful and delicious amuse-bouche that set the bar high for the rest of the lunch. The chef clearly demonstrates great skill and genuine respect for the ingredients. As a small downside, both main courses arrived lukewarm and became completely cold by the time we finished them, which slightly detracted from the overall experience. That said, it’s definitely worth a visit while in Como.

20/03/2026: Il Pinguino - Osteno: Thirty Years Later, the Return There are places that live twice: first in memory, second when you return. Il Pinguino in Osteno is one of them. The last time I crossed these thresholds, they were thirty years younger, I was thirty years younger, and spring exploded with a gentle violence that enveloped everything: the trees along the lake, the still-fresh Ceresio air, and that springtime femininity blossoming in the glances, the smiles, the unfulfilled promises of youth. Returning today is an act of courage or nostalgia—perhaps both. Osteno is still there, overlooking Lake Lugano like a silent sentinel, beyond time and fashion. And Il Pinguino endures, true to itself. The Restaurant Nothing has changed, or perhaps everything. The walls, the tables, the smell of real cooking wafting from the dining room. The pizza I order it. It arrives steaming hot, with that puffy, irregular crust that only a wood-fired oven can provide. The return I look out, toward the lake. Spring is no longer what it was back then—or maybe I just don't see it the same way anymore. Nature's blossoming is still there, stubborn, punctual. But that feminine quality that had bewitched me thirty years ago now lives elsewhere, in other gazes, in other lives. The Penguin remains. Osteno remains. The certainty that some places never betray us remains, even when we ourselves change. Recommended? Yes. For those seeking authenticity, for those who want to return, for those who know that certain places should be visited at least twice in a lifetime: once when young, once when not so young. And in between, thirty years of travel. Rating: 4/5 – Not for lack of quality, but because perfection belongs only to memories.

08/03/2026: We found it by chance, and the only downside is that we didn't know about it beforehand. It has a homey, old-fashioned atmosphere, few frills, and transparent prices. We ordered three menus and spent €39. Not only do I recommend the place, but I hope the honesty and dedication of the owners, who in 2026 are providing families with meals at fair prices, will be rewarded with positive publicity!

12/04/2026: As soon as we arrived, my friends and I were treated with great haste and without much consideration. I can understand that it is a place with this mood (very spartan pub) but I didn't like it at all. For the rest, I have to say that there was a great selection of beers.

28/03/2026: The value for money is unmatched. I had the raw fish and the oyster risotto, both indescribably delicious. The service was a 10/10, extremely kind and professional. The location is intimate, but in my opinion, perfect for the kind of atmosphere they've created. Highly recommended. From the outside, you can't tell the value of this place. Definitely worth a try if you're in Como.

23/03/2026: We went for dinner last night, and I have to say, it was amazing! The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were super helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious. My boyfriend really enjoyed the gluten-free fried food.

23/01/2026: Got into this place unexpectedly, so we didn't have a reservation. However the staff has found a nice place for us. The dinner was fabulous: fresh products, excellent blend of tastes. The dishes were served quickly. This restaurant is an exceptional combination of delicious food, service, fantastic venue with a lake view and overall good atmosphere. We didn't try their wine selection though, but I believe it will be worth your attention 😉

05/01/2026: What creeps to make my dessert look like male genitalia. I tried to upload a photo but it kept getting rejected.... probably because it was so vulgar. The dessert was taking a really long time and the waiter said it was being handmade. Such trashy behavior. Also, the bed was one of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on with a huge depression in the mattress.

07/04/2026: A restaurant that has very little of the grotto feel, starting with the dishes and everything else. I'll start with the positives: the staff is very fast and all the waiters are extremely courteous. The view is truly beautiful. From the elevated position, you can see the lake. The terrace is spacious and they allow you to eat outside as soon as the temperatures are acceptable, which isn't always a given. The prices are fair and the menu is varied. We only tried the pizza, which, honestly, I didn't like. I found it bland; the tomato and mozzarella weren't anything special, but the oregano was delicious. I've certainly had worse, but also better. I'd recommend trying the rest of the menu; some dishes looked inviting. Prices are in CHF, but if you pay by card, the charge is in euros, obviously with an exchange rate markup. The clientele is made up of many smokers, who, oblivious to the tables next to them, light up one cigarette after another. I understand that it's outside, but given the space, maybe they could set aside one area for smokers and another for children or non-smokers.

20/04/2026: A lovely Sunday lunch was spent at this spacious restaurant right on the lake, with a breathtaking view. The food was truly delicious; the PERCH RISOTTO was excellent, incredibly tasty and, most importantly, not too heavy with butter (it tasted truly homemade). The portions were generous, as were the ROAST POTATOES and GRILLED ZUCCHINI. Another highlight was the PIZZA, thin and crispy, very tasty. The prices, in my opinion, are a bit too high. The staff was very friendly and, above all, quick.
