25/05/2025: The cuisine always offers good quality dishes that are never banal. But I have been there other times and I take the liberty of not sharing the current beach resort decor with umbrellas and buckets at the tables. I miss the elegant and soft style with candles and plants and flowers everywhere that also justifies the name of the place: potafiori. Otherwise call it Riccione and sprinkle the floor with sand, at least you have the illusion of being on the beach

26/05/2025: I find the price very very expensive for what it is, the gardens are very beautiful but 10€ entry to see some gardens and an hour of waiting to take a photo in front of the doors is a shame, it is very beautiful but a little less expensive like the other villas on the lake would have been more appreciated

26/05/2025: The hotel closed to the public for private event today and does not let the public to go into on 26th May/ today. We were hoping to go and very excited for the garden to view. We only visited to villa monastero unfortunately. We don’t know when we can visit lake como again in our lifetime.

31/05/2025: Buona pizza senza glutine, leggera e digeribile. Considerate che è quella fina, non quella alta napoletana. Personale molto gentile. La carne non la abbiamo presa ma è arrivata ai nostri vicini di tavolo e sembrava buonissima.

26/01/2025: Esperienza a dir poco grottesca. Non commento la location, perché parla da sé. Non avevamo nessuna altra aspettativa se non mangiare qualche piatto semplice e casereccio della cucina tipica lombarda. Ci consegnano un menù un po' deludente: spaghetti con le vongole surgelate, tagliatelle (acquistati da fornitori ) con funghi surgelati , ravioli burro e salvia (anche questi non di propria produzione). Fritto misto surgelato e salsiccia . Allego foto del menu. Un po' delusi scegliamo antipasti e primi. Nel frattempo notiamo che a tutti gli altri commensali arrivano piatti diversi : polenta con bruscitt, polenta con cassoela, brasato. Sgomenti, chiediamo alla cameriera, la quale ci comunica di non averci volutamente messo al corrente della possibilità di avere questi altri piatti poiché "non so se ci sono per tutti". Facciamo presente che tali piatti stavano arrivando al tavolo di fianco benche' i commensali fossero arrivati dopo di noi e la cameriera sembra in difficoltà.. Chiediamo se sia possibile avere un piatto di polenta e bruscitt ma ci viene detto che "non so se ne ho per tutti" . Facciamo presente che ne volevamo uno. Niente. Ancora oggi non ci è chiaro il criterio in base al quale noi 4 siamo stati esclusi dalla possibilità di accedere al menù "misterioso". Morale: 80 euro per 4 primi scadenti, un tagliere di affettati da supermercato e 3 fiori di zucca scongelati e fritti. Esperienza ai limiti dell'incredibile.

Menù degustazione ricco e ben curato.Antipasti ,2 primi ( risotto speck e taleggio) 2 secondi ( polenta con stracotto di asino e polenta con costine cotte a bassa temperatura) dolce acqua e caffè a soli 34€. Materie prime di ottima qualità.personale gentile e accogliente

03/05/2025: Terrible!!! Empty place on Saturday night...and I should have already understood... A course of fish wasn't fresh for me and they replied in simple words that I didn't understand a thing... I ended up snatching the receipt out of his hand and walking away. Never again!

04/05/2025: I went to lunch a year ago now, for Mother's Day, with my partner and their mothers. I remember great disorganization with the service, on more than one occasion (and also at neighboring tables) the dishes arrived before the tables had been cleared. The most serious thing is that the bill was wrong, we paid €100 more than the receipt and after a year of emails and WhatsApp between my partner and the administration nothing was resolved. Really embarrassing.

01/05/2025: Terrible experience, we booked for a birthday and we were a table of 6 people. Starting from the assumption that they have stratospheric prices that do not fit in the slightest with the quality of the food they offer, we spent a modest sum of €300 and no one was satisfied. Incompetent staff to say the least, we had to tell them all the time when to bring the food, when to serve the cake, when to cut the cake, all at a blissful slowness that led us to leave there 4 hours later. I totally advise against, but above all I advise against ordering the second courses as they were really bland, tasteless and without flavour. I think it was the worst restaurant I've been to in the upper city, starting from a really poor menu (choice of 3 starters, 3 first courses and three second courses). If you are looking for variety this is not the place for you. The truly indifferent manager, despite complaining about the things that weren't working for us, didn't stop by our table once to ask if we needed anything (and in all this there were 3 tables). AWESOME!!!!!!
