19/04/2026: I'm sorry, I don't usually leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my stay at this place wasn't pleasant! The place itself is charming, despite its small size. We had an appetizer consisting of a good salami, mozzarella, mushrooms, and olives. However, the problem was the pizza. It wasn't well-leavened, the sauce was slightly acidic, and it was extremely spicy (I chose smoked scamorza, zucchini, and spicy spianata). Evidently, besides the spianata (which I usually eat), there was something else spicy. I don't mind strong flavors, but this pizza was decidedly inedible. It was as if someone had spilled a jar of chili pepper oil on it. I've been around far and wide, and until now, I've never left a pizza half-eaten... Needless to say, my stomach wasn't thankful (on a positive note, the bathrooms are very clean 😉). Guys, your staff is friendly, and it's a shame the pizza isn't up to Angelo's expectations. The place is quaint; I don't just want to criticize but also to encourage improvement. Come on!

26/10/2025: Waiting 1.5 hours to eat a horrible, extremely greasy pasta dish is something I do not recommend at all.

17/01/2026: The restaurant boasts a truly beautiful view, which is undoubtedly its strong point. The staff was friendly and helpful during service. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by a few important aspects: they served an expired Coke can, and the glass wasn't clean, something that should never happen in a place like this. The price is quite high, but it's still in line with the type of place and location. Overall, a place with great potential, which could offer a much better experience with greater attention to service quality and detail.

06/04/2026: That was the worst service experience ever in 40 years of travelling. After we were pointed in a certain direction by a not so friendly waiter, we (a family of four) came in, sat down to have a few drinks and some gelato....a lady with long black hair came to our table, didnt greet us, didnt look us in the eye, didnt show any will to serve us or any manners at all...so we left. Shame on you and that kind of service. Who do you think you are ? Ridiculous.

15/04/2026: My review concerns the hotel parking lot for use by non-guests. It's shameful that it's being used as a parking lot. There's no way to enter or exit on foot except via the vehicle ramp. The exit system is terrible; the reader to open the gate isn't accessible from the car. There's no room to maneuver. The price is ridiculously expensive. Awful.

24/03/2026: One of the worst experiences we had at a restaurant. What was good - a very beautiful location. And that's it. What was bad - between bad and inedible. The most delicious was the olive oil and wine. I will especially mention the first calamari, which was actually a dish of moving calamari. There is no problem creating such an innovative dish, but it is worth preparing the diner. The spaghetti with sea urchin was also uniquely bad, so salty that it was difficult to eat. We were unable to eat both of them, we told the waiter and he smiled and left. All the other dishes were just bad. Regarding the service - the waiters were nice, but in both Hebrew and French we were unable to understand too much. For dessert, the next day I woke up with an upset stomach.

22/08/2025: Thursday's aperitif and 1 free drink deal was excellent... Food and drinks 🔝! The only flaw is that if the place closes at 9 PM, shouldn't the staff start sending people away at 8:26 PM? That didn't seem polite at all... At least at 8:50 PM you can start politely asking to leave the table... But not before that! The guy told us at 8:26 PM they'd be closing in 10 minutes... ABSURD.

19/03/2026: Passing by for work, I happened upon this place for a quick business lunch with a colleague. I didn't particularly enjoy the food: the first course was lasagna with pesto, which was acceptable; the second course was a small fried fish (side dish? Who knows), a glass of wine, and coffee. The price was proportionally high, too high. Today, in a Ligurian town in the west, at a very similar restaurant, we paid half the price for a set menu that was much better in terms of quantity and quality!

28/02/2026: I've always gone there for a piping hot macchiato and been shocked by the lack of things to get for my girlfriend for breakfast, always very little, I'm celiac, there's nothing for me... so... I wouldn't have set foot there again if it weren't for the fact that some people bring me back for a coffee... but I recommend everyone to go to the historic one in front who knows a little more, as for the internal kitchen, I don't know, there's never room, there are always the same people there, as if they had taken over the tables...

11/10/2025: I was out walking the dogs at Gaiazza and it was getting late, I called and asked if we could eat something... Despite the time and the 4 dogs they told me to go anyway... They were very kind and helpful.. and I ate a delicious plate of trofie with pesto!!!
