06/01/2026: To avoid the linguine with clams (€24, 01/2026) being too salty, this could be due to the excess ricotta added to the pasta. The chef should taste the dishes he cooks. The server is aimable, but not the man who serves coffee. It's not for the service.

30/08/2025: With a reservation for seven people, I find two round tables, a carefully crafted silver table setting, excellent bread accompanied by a small plate of mountain butter, and a wine list that reads like a dictionary, and unfortunately, the wine we chose is sold out. This is where the small inconveniences begin. My appetizer, brandacujun stockfish, was excellent, hot, with excellent olives. The same cannot be said for my friends' breaded Monterosso anchovies, which had a slightly worn flavor. Meanwhile, the 10-year-old girl awaits her dish without the slightest attention. The first course: tagliatelle with small-sized scampi in a smoky-flavored bisque, cold and overcooked. The spaghetti with clams was borderline acceptable. Ravioli were served in a used gravy boat, like a carafe, without a spoon or a saucer. Obviously, since I couldn't eat, they asked me, and I replied that I didn't like it. Then the chef showed up, hatless, from the kitchen where another person in civilian clothes was milling around, and insistently demanded explanations, which I promptly provided. He insisted that everything was fresh and the other table had already eaten... We got up and got discounted on the two first courses. 13/10/2025: We paid like a luxury place but it's worth zero. Extremely dirty environment with an obnoxious smell. Presence of insects of all kinds in the rooms. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

13/10/2025: The sleeping environment was extremely dirty with bed bugs galore, it was a constant struggle, the rooms smelled terrible, the towels and sheets were extremely dirty and they stank like spiders and cobwebs everywhere, I will never return.

22/02/2026: We stayed in Portofino at this beautiful place, suspended in time. The restaurant overlooks the marina. The friendly and helpful staff served us promptly. The seafood was fresh and truly delicious. We'll definitely be back.

23/06/2025: Visitamos la pizzería Vesuvio Ristorante en Rapallo como parte de una excursión en crucero, justo en el paseo marítimo, por lo que la ubicación es ideal para una escapada panorámica. Nos ofrecieron aperitivos gratuitos y una parada de baño aquí durante el recorrido. La pastelería era fresca y sabrosa, los cacahuetes eran sorprendentemente buenos, y el jugo golpeó el lugar en un día cálido. Si bien no pedimos una comida completa, el servicio fue amable y rápido. Consejo: Si vas a caminar por el paseo marítimo o en una parada de crucero como nosotros, es un pequeño lugar genial para refrescarte y disfrutar de la vista. ¡Consideraría volver a probar su pizza!
