29/08/2025: Bad experience! We went in, and the lady brought us two menus in English (knowing full well we were Italian). We decided to order two starters, spaghetti alla chitarra with shrimp and a plate of tomato gnocchi with mutton. First, she brought us bruschetta we didn't ask for, which she charged us for. Then, she brought us two very simple starters with lots of tomato and not much shrimp/meat, and finally, a dessert (definitely stale) that we didn't ask for either! In the end, we spent 40 euros for two starters with almost nothing but tomato sauce and tap water!!! Shameful! Stay away, because this isn't honest. She even justified herself by telling me that it was written on the menu (in English), but even if that were the case, she should have at least brought us coffee and wine, which we never received. I'm truly speechless!

10/07/2025: Excellent, the food is really, really good. The prices are a little high, but you pay for quality and the food is totally worth it.

04/07/2025: The pizza alla pala is their forte, both the white ones and the tomato ones are very good. Not very big, so if you are hungry it is better to make at least a 50cm for two and you will spend about €20 each for pizza, service charge and drink. The arrosticini are also good. I would definitely go back.

15/09/2025: A very bad experience. The welcome was cold and unfriendly. The ravioli didn't seem fresh and the sauce was watery, the strozzapreti were overcooked and tasteless. The arrosticini had an unpleasant odor. Overall, one of the worst meals I've had in Abruzzo.

20/09/2025: I'm very sorry to have to write this review, but I believe customers should be respected. We had a truly terrible meal. We were greeted kindly, and that's the end of the fun of this dinner. We ordered two first courses and one second course. The mezze maniche were raw and we couldn't eat them. The spaghetti allo scoglio were watery (perhaps poorly drained?). The fried seafood had so much oil it made me feel sick, literally. I had read positive reviews; perhaps the chef wasn't there tonight and someone else cooked in his place. In any case, you can't serve customers this way. When it came time to pay, we weren't even asked how our dinner went (despite noticing we'd left a lot of food on the table). We would have appreciated at least this: accountability.

13/09/2025: A very nice place, close to the sea. The atmosphere is simple, with equally simple but truly delicious food. Definitely recommended to anyone looking for good, quiet dining at a reasonable price. Avoid it in August, when it's crowded.

11/10/2025: The staff is extremely rude. You approach them with a smile and they treat you as if you were doing them a favor. A proper approach to the customer would make everything more pleasant. PS: The cookies are disgusting.

18/10/2025: I was there yesterday, October 18, 2025, with my wife and a friend. A lovely evening was ruined by the management's failure to intervene at a table where adults were letting a young boy use his phone with video playing at high volume. Throughout the dinner, we had to endure the annoying crackling of cell phone audio, while the management pretended not to notice. It's a shame, considering it's a very nice place and the pizzas are excellent.

23/09/2025: Excellent from all points of view, we ordered 1 carpaccio of raw porcini mushrooms with rocket and parmesan shavings for 4 diners, 2 delicious pizzas with porcini mushrooms, one white and one red, 4 first courses with porcini mushrooms, 2 slices of mushroom steak, wine, water, coffee, total 135 euros. Worth it.

11/05/2025: I stopped at Pasticceria Bontà d'Abruzzo 🥞 on May 1st, finding it conveniently along the state road in Silvi. Even though it was a little late, I still found a decent choice of croissants 🥐. The ones we tried were really very good and tasty (in particular the one with the classic chocolate/white chocolate mix and the one with Chantilly cream). An extra point goes to the lady at the counter 🙋‍♀️, who kindly offered to fill the empty croissants on the spot.

27/03/2025: Passing through Ortona, excellent croissant and well stocked. At 11 am pass with different varieties of simple croissants (vegan, cereal etc.)

13/09/2025: Hello everyone. First of all, a word to the critics who criticized this restaurant. You have no idea what Abruzzo cuisine is all about. You'd be better off eating fast food or a kebab. Seriously. Who goes to a restaurant and says, "It wasn't good," but the decor was top-notch? You're idiots. Learn to appreciate Italian cuisine first. We travel extensively in Italy and know the specialties of all parts of the country. This restaurant is fantastic. It's worth going there often. The "Galla Pasta" restaurant is definitely at the top of our top ten.

15/09/2025: Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing. Our order was served quickly, and the quality of the pizzas was decent. However, as soon as we'd finished our food—our drinks weren't even finished yet—the owner pointed at us and instructed the waiter to clear the table for waiting guests. The waiter immediately asked us if we wanted to pay, and just two minutes later, the bill was on the table. We felt like we were being rushed out, even though we would have liked to have finished our drinks and ordered dessert in peace. This unfortunately significantly tarnished the otherwise solid impression of the pizzeria.
