22/03/2026: Nothing to say except that it's super excellent, highly recommended and the service is that of a 3 Michelin star restaurant. Out of 10 I'd say 100. Go there, it's a must.

20/04/2026: I stayed at this hotel from March 21st to 23rd, 2026. I must say that I found the room well-heated and comfortable, with hot water. However, there were a few small flaws: an unusable hairdryer, hidden sockets, and an old-fashioned key. These are minor things, but... Otherwise, the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was good, the coffee excellent, the food good, and the location very central.

06/06/2026: A place in the middle of the nature of Mutignano, a delightful village in Abruzzo where you can enjoy a unique panorama both towards the North and the South but not forgetting the West towards the panorama of his majesty the Gran Sasso d'Italia, in short, a fairytale place 🤷🏻.

11/11/2025: What delicious food! Super fresh and wonderful combinations. The hostess is also very friendly. We ate here a few times during our stay at the camper site.

07/11/2025: Excellent pitches but terrible services. Only one bathroom for men and one for women. The showers are paid and there's no way to turn off the water, and they don't last long. Furthermore, the coin-operated machine was empty and there was no one to ask.

12/05/2026: An evening for seven with friends. Olives alla Ascolana. Classic Roman pan pizzas, very shallow. The problem is that the place felt more like a children's playground than a restaurant. Screaming and noise made it difficult to talk at the table.

04/05/2026: Strolling along the waterfront, I saw crates of fresh fish being unloaded at this restaurant, so intrigued I decided to book for the weekend, and my expectations were exceeded. We chose a very tasty and seafood-rich calamarata, and among the various fresh fish of the day displayed in the window, we found a turbot and succulent razor clams. Perfectly cooked and reasonably priced, even though we were on the terrace overlooking the sea! Well done, see you next time!

The dishes are simple, without excess, yet precisely because of this, they truly showcase the flavors of the sea. The atmosphere is elegant yet informal, perfect for both a quiet dinner and a special occasion. The option to choose the catch of the day is particularly appealing, adding a touch of transparency and authenticity. The service is attentive and well-organized.

04/06/2026: A comfortable 4-star hotel with quality amenities, a spectacular pool, and stunning night views. Its central location makes it easy to reach nearby ice cream parlors and restaurants.

14/05/2026: We'd been to this grill restaurant before, where we'd had some steaks, which, despite being medium rare, had been a bit tough. This time, there were three of us, and we went all out on the arrosticini, 40 of the smaller ones in total, and I must say we were rewarded with a truly high-quality product: flavorful without being salty, cooked through yet incredibly tender, accompanied by toasted bread with olive oil. First, we each had a portion of tomato bruschetta and a couple of portions of fried cheese. Followed by a couple of slices of Nutella cheesecake, just to cut down on the fat ;) Quick and courteous service, average prices for this type of establishment: €30 per person.

02/11/2025: The place feels warm and welcoming, yet has a very vintage feel. Our last guest arrived at 9 PM, and after ordering shortly thereafter, we were served appetizers at 10 PM and main courses at approximately 10:40 PM, after everyone had ordered the same course: a platter and mixed roast. The restaurant manager/owner was friendly and polite, but the waitress who served us was a bit too casual. I'll start by saying that I'm all for simplicity and cheerfulness, especially in the village, but let's avoid describing dishes to customers with food still in their mouths, and above all, let's remember to bring drinks if the place is half-empty. Luckily, the cured meats and meat were truly delicious, although after the long wait, we would have preferred slightly larger portions for the bill. I'd avoid classifying half a potato per person as a side dish and charging so much for it, because despite the quality of the food, the timing, the service, and the size of the portions, at a whopping €33, made this experience forgettable and unrepeatable. Silvi Alta is a beautiful place, but like many towns in Abruzzo, it clearly needs to learn how to treat its guests. If we continue like this, we can forget about tourism, and I say this as a proud Abruzzese.
