16/08/2026: I thoroughly enjoyed the chef's cuisine, the refinement of the preparations and the flavors. The only area for improvement I would point out is the service. The wait staff explains the preparation and techniques in detail, but often fails to truly convey the dish: the flavors, the sensations, even the emotions. In a haute cuisine restaurant, even these small details are part of the experience.

11/08/2026: After overcoming a misunderstanding about the reservation, which can happen, the restaurant was fully booked. The restaurant is modern, small, and caters for small numbers, but pleasant and simply furnished. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. The menu is not predictable, in that, in addition to traditional Abruzzo dishes, it offers appetizing alternatives, from appetizers to dessert. Always high-quality ingredients, carefully prepared and presented. The wine list is well-stocked, with a strong local presence, but also broader scope. Good value for money. Overall, a good choice.

03/03/2026: We had a great time, the atmosphere was familiar and traditional, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Not only was everything delicious and plentiful, but it was also very well priced. The arrosticini were top-notch. I highly recommend it.

Alex is a person who knows his job: excellent hospitality, attentive service, always tidy and clean. A few minutes, but well spent.

18/01/2026: Intimate, minimalist, and elegant design. The maitre d' and the dining room staff create a simple yet warm atmosphere. Refined and original dishes, with Abruzzo roots clearly evident. Special mention goes to the tortello alla ventricina and the lamb, both of which are unbelievably tender.
03/01/2026: Terrible restaurant, reservation made two weeks ago, they called us an hour before dinner to cancel. Unprofessional, arrogant, and rude.

29/08/2026: I had dinner with some family members. The restaurant is reminiscent of the typical trattorias of the past, and that's probably why we ate so abundantly and well. The dishes and ingredients are locally sourced and prepared by the owners, who welcomed us with warmth, attention, and care. We were offered a full menu (antipasto, three first courses, grilled meat, a delicious side salad, tiramisu or homemade tarts, limoncello, and mint cream) with local, fresh ingredients. A truly positive experience.

A special family who takes special care in preparing every dish. We had a wonderful dinner!

01/08/2026: The view is wonderful. The vast lawn offers serenity and well-being. They also have rooms for rent, all new. You can eat, drink, and enjoy snacks. The craft beers are unique and very good; we tried five different ones. The prices are low, but always check your bill because there's always a "few euros" more on everything... That's why I didn't give it 5 stars.
We'll be back, but we'll have to check the prices before paying.
04/04/2026: We visited this place, which we hadn't seen before, on the recommendation of a colleague, and it was a real discovery! The selection of beers is excellent and varied, with Master Brewer Totò able to guide us toward the best choices for our tastes. The beers can be paired with expertly prepared platters, pinsa (a typical Italian dish), and sandwiches. The staff is punctual and knowledgeable.
A special mention goes to Chef Emanuele, who personally selects top-quality ingredients and manages large workloads independently, always maintaining high quality.

21/08/2026: They were decidedly disorganized; all the vegetables arrived at different times, and they forgot about the wine and only brought it after we asked. As for the dishes, the portions were generous, but unfortunately, the food was tasteless.
20/08/2026: We dined here with family on the evening of August 18th, and the overall experience was pleasant.
The location is very charming and welcoming, with that nostalgic charm that immediately evokes the typical '80s and '90s diners. The service is informal: the staff were friendly and available to meet every need.
From a culinary perspective, the quality of the ingredients is unquestionable: excellent ingredients and authentic flavors. The only small complaint concerns the preparation/cooking process, where the salt was a bit overdone.
Overall, it was a wonderful evening. A genuine place, absolutely recommended!

02/08/2026: Truly good food. The arrosticini were among the best I've had here in Caste di Sangro, the meats truly worthy of note. It's a shame about the service: it's true that it was a Saturday evening in the height of high season, but we were seated around 8:20 PM, and the main courses arrived after 9:35 PM (after a reminder). Drinks were delivered around 9:15 PM (also after a reminder). I hate to write this because the food is worth it, but honestly, waiting so long was disheartening, especially when you have small children who start to get bored after a certain point. What a shame!

26/08/2026: Not a bad place, but when we asked for a piadina with tomato and mozzarella, we were told they didn't have tomatoes, and honestly, I found that disconcerting. I was forced to order a piadina with ham and mozzarella instead, while the person with me also ordered a piadina with cured meats, which were very salty on both piadinas. I wouldn't go back.
12/08/2026: We came in with a 5-year-old child to ask if he could use the restroom. We were reminded that we needed to buy something—which, of course, we did. My companion asked for a coffee, and the employee reminded us that we weren't doing him a favor and that he needed to buy something before using the restroom. After being asked to be more flexible, he began insulting my companion. The employee finally emphasized, in front of a minor, that he would slap the father twice. An unpleasant experience, to say the least, especially considering the child needed to use the restroom. Without tourism, small towns die, so I would recommend better training in hospitality, which involves every business. Best regards.
