Luciana, Lia, Alphonso, and Guido are so welcoming. From starters to desserts, everything is homemade and delicious. I highly recommend it for your visit to the Abruzzo region.

22/09/2025: Nice view, tables and chairs made of dated plastic. There were two of us. We sat down, they came to ask for our order, and we asked for two more minutes to choose. They came every 30 seconds, and we repeatedly asked for more time. They rushed us, saying we could overlap orders and we'd eat late (given that it wasn't that busy), so we chose a fries and two pizzas. The fries arrived (very salty) and we started eating... shortly after, while we were still finishing, they took our plates away, saying "the pizzas have arrived," and left them on the table without giving us a chance to finish the fries. I ordered a "speechless" pizza, but the more appropriate name would have been "flavorless." A jumble of ingredients that on paper should have been good, but together they had no clear flavor; you couldn't distinguish a single ingredient. The cherry tomatoes on the pizza were the same ones you'd find on bruschetta, cut very small. There wasn't even a whiff of Gorgonzola, and the truffle seemed to be in oil, with neither flavor nor aroma. My partner had a royal pizza without Grana Padano but with a drizzle of extra olive oil... needless to say, it tasted like it was soaked in a barrel of oil. The price isn't excessive, but in our opinion, the quality isn't up to par; you just have to travel a few more meters to find better pizzerias.

17/09/2025: Birthday dinner. Everything was good. It's a shame that the focaccia, which was delicious, was brought after we'd finished the cured meats and cheeses. The pizzas were good. We had to wait quite a while for the cake. The staff was kind and friendly.

02/11/2025: We went for lunch, we were touring the villages and wanted something homemade. A perfect choice, a small but welcoming, family-run restaurant. The owner and chef is someone who enjoys what he does, and therefore does it well! You sit down and trust him, like a family friend. The price is as honest as few others these days. Highly recommended!

01/11/2025: We stumbled upon this trattoria almost by accident, having found it on Google during a trip to Lanciano, but it was one of the happiest discoveries of recent times. The atmosphere was authentic, welcoming, and unfussy, just as a real trattoria should be. Nando is a special person; he was kind and smiling from the first moment, making us feel at home. A true host!!! The cuisine was a real surprise: simple yet carefully prepared dishes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. Each course had the authentic flavor of tradition, cooked with passion. Generous portions and absolutely fair prices complete an experience I would like to repeat as soon as possible. Nando, you made a killer Genovese, not to mention the ribs, the beans... In short, you were the best. Thank you. Next time we come to Lanciano, we'll come visit you. The 2pm guys 🤣🤣🤣

26/08/2025: Lido Sirena is our safe haven, where you can spend a pleasant, relaxing evening and eat well. Everything is delicious: the appetizers are delicious and plentiful, the first courses delicious. For main courses, we only tried the monkfish, and it was exquisite. All accompanied by good local wines. The staff is friendly and helpful.

03/10/2025: Beautifully decorated and well-maintained restaurant/pizzeria, located in the historic heart of Lanciano. The menu truly caters to everyone, from pizza to meat and fish. We ordered mixed fried fish, fries, and bruschetta as appetizers (all delicious), followed by pizza platters, cod fillet, and desserts. The pizza is truly delicious; the dough is light and the ingredients are top-quality, as are the other dishes. The desserts are amazing (especially the salted caramel brownie). The staff is incredibly friendly, and the idea of ​​giving out blankets to those who dine out is a great one. Recommended 👍🏻
