17/08/2025: The pizza isn't bad, though it's quite heavy and leaves some doubts about the quality of the ingredients. Not the worst I've ever eaten, but certainly far from light or memorable. What really made me turn up my nose, however, was something else: we ordered two simple potato croquettes and found bacon inside. Too bad the ingredients weren't even listed. My friend and I are vegetarians and, without knowing it, found ourselves eating meat. We only realized this afterwards, and I think this contributed to the fact that we both felt pretty sick later. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this isn't a minor detail: correctly listing the ingredients is the bare minimum in a restaurant. It's not a matter of taste, but of respect for those with specific dietary choices or actual intolerances.

15/08/2025: Terrible experience. Booked lunch for two on August 15, 2025. Set menu at €35 per person. Poor food quality. Unfriendly staff. The first courses were sent back. Like other couples, we didn't enjoy the meal. In short, €70 wasted. We only ate a bit of the second course.

12/08/2025: I'm very sorry, poor for the price they ask €90 per night, without a mini-bar, without air conditioning, then the shutters directly on the street on the ground floor you can't open them because if someone passes by they look at you in the room for those who have animals like me, after all, highly inadvisable, never been able to open for the dog because otherwise he ran away, when you have to say something it must be written, you have to review several things never again!!!!!!

21/07/2025: A place with ample parking, even for trucks. I would have given the food three stars, but I'm only giving it two because it's cooked quickly, considering it's a work canteen. The staff is polite and friendly. The restrooms could use some updating, as they're a bit worn and you can't lock the door. I noticed the price is a bit high for a canteen, because for a small bottle of water, two burgers with fries, and a very small portion of peas, I paid €15, and I didn't get bread, a first course, or any appetizing fruit. The caramel and chocolate self-service cafes have recently restricted parking a bit, and the prices have gone up a bit.

26/02/2025: The food is good, with plentiful and varied dishes: meat, fish, vegetables, etc. The staff is helpful and very kind. Even if you order a trio, you can choose from a wide range of options. If you're in the area, it's worth a try.

21/08/2025: Exceptional!!! Truly kind and knowledgeable staff, truly delicious and high-quality ice cream, as well as the frozen yogurt!!!! Not to mention the Nutella crepes...not to be missed!!!!

20/08/2025: Truly top-notch ice cream shop! 🍦 Every flavor is delicious, but my absolute favorite is the Nutella one: creamy, intense, and irresistible, it almost feels like eating straight from the jar! 😍 To top it all off, there's the whipped cream: soft, fresh, and light, a real treat that makes every gelato special. Friendly, smiling staff, a place I'll always gladly return to.

28/02/2025: Specifically, I have traveled through Italy during the years of my travels from Trieste to Porto Cesareo. I love Italy and go back several times a year. Over the many years of traveling, I have stayed in an incredible number of hotels, guest houses and various B & Bs. Since I myself work at a hotel and have been in the tourism industry for more than 20 years, I have always rated all my accommodations on Booking as a full 10, because they deserved it. I'll make one exception here and if I can't review on booking, I'll review here. I would like to point out in advance that the rating does not refer to the hotel's services or the quality of the accommodation, but is an assessment exclusively of the management. At the beginning of January 2025, I made a reservation on Booking for June 2025. Today I received a request from the hotel to cancel the reservation myself, because they are planning to renovate the hotel. I consider this action to be absolutely unprofessional, because the reconstruction is not planned from one day to the next, but is planned in advance (at least for the off-season and not for the summer). And when it was already known that there would be a period of reconstruction, they should have closed the online sales capacity of the rooms so that no one could make a reservation. Alternatively, plan the reconstruction from a certain period when there is no reservation and then the online sales capacity of the rooms is closed - this is the usual procedure. According to booking, this is the only hotel right in the city center of Civitella del Tronto, so I canceled the reservation because I wouldn't be able to stay there anyway, due to the closure. In a situation where you have everything planned, bought plane tickets, tickets for all trains throughout Italy (high-speed trains to Basilicata, back through Abruzzo and the final to Venezia), booked hotels in all cities, this hotel wants to cancel your reservation and it will completely ruin your travel plans, because apparently there is no other hotel in the city center of Civitella del Tronto. If the sales capacity on booking was closed, I would have made my vacation plans differently, so I have already lost a certain amount of money (at least for the trains) and now I am looking for an alternative solution. I hope that Mr. Zunica is aware that my cancellation of the reservation was due to my good will, I did not have to cancel the reservation and he would have to find accommodation in the same or higher category of the hotel in the given location, exactly according to the booking conditions. I do not recommend this hotel, the management's unprofessional approach will cause you a lot of extra worries instead of a pleasant stay.

14/01/2025: The room called the "grottino" is intimate and welcoming but you pay for the fact that there is no air conditioning. The staff should be more careful when asking the degree of doneness of the meat.

17/03/2025: Shameful, I cross Aspromonte with more than 4000 meters of altitude difference in three days and these guys here charge me €20 for a tiny sandwich, a piece of dessert and two coffees. The receipt wasn't even in the owner's mind. I don't know if you pissed me off or disgusted me more, I left speechless because I was so pissed off and exhausted from the mountain of not wanting to argue. Starving.

07/07/2025: Bar located right in the city center. The staff were friendly and helpful, and also very knowledgeable and informed about what was available and the ingredients in case there were any intolerances. We went there after dinner for dessert and coffee and were very pleased with the super good desserts.

30/05/2025: Bar located in the central square of Giulianova Lido, kind and helpful staff, excellent aperitif at a good price.

13/08/2025: Four stars for the food I chose from the menu. The Chef's rice, but perhaps the quality was too hard for me, or perhaps it wasn't cooked enough. I don't know, but I didn't like it enough. It's a dish that features rice on a white base. It's very flavorful. I was expecting a great dish, but it didn't go as expected. I'd give it three stars, but I'm leaving it four because I remember the highlight being the pizza I ate the first time I discovered this restaurant. The pizza is delicious!

11/08/2025: The perfect place to spend a quiet evening with friends and family. Good, well-leavened pizza with quality ingredients... Tasty appetizers and a delicious cheese platter! Mainly I was very surprised by the pizza with Nutella and ice cream, truly delicious. Well-kept and modern location. Friendly staff in all circumstances... Recommended!

05/06/2025: Cena leggera, domani si viaggia e già i Km sono stati tanti. Antipasto carciofini locali su letto di rucola, notevoli. Ravioli ai porcini e tartufo nero buoni. Arrosticini nella media. Buon vino rosato. Buon servizio, rapido e simpatico.

02/02/2025: An embarrassing experience, to say the least! I called to reserve a table for three, specifying that I had a small dog with me and asking if there were any problems. I was told there was no problem. I arrived (from outside) and was shown outside the restaurant into a cold building with a barely closed door and no heating. They told me to wait for the place to warm up. More staff arrived and told me that the heating outside wasn't working, but the dog wasn't allowed inside; they had given me incorrect information over the phone. I said I was leaving, and then they told me I could come inside if I wanted, or choose a table closer to the heating, which they had finally managed to get working. Of course, I left. There are plenty of pizzerias, so I'm definitely not going to be fooled. Disgraceful treatment. One star because it's the lowest I can get.

31/08/2025: We've been here three times now, twice for pizza and once for lunch, which was top notch. The owner is very friendly.

11/07/2025: Thanks to Roberto, this place came to life years ago and is a landmark for the valley... the lake is well-equipped and suitable for families or campers... the restaurant and pizzeria are excellent for offering local flavors...
