On Saturdays, check if there's karaoke... if you want a quiet dinner, it's not the day! But if you want noise and fun, this is the place... family-friendly atmosphere.
Good parking during the off-season.
They should expand their dessert menu.
...AND I CAME BACK DAYS LATER and here I am expanding my review...! Everything fried is excellent... the potato fries... the cheese fries... the chicken wings... and if you love peaches, I RECOMMEND THE PEACH LIQUEUR made in the area... MORE THAN DELICIOUS...!
A drink to remember... truly...!
They are very friendly and we will return when we are in the area again for work...!
And we will sit as ALWAYS at table 1.... Best regards!

30/08/2025: Full menu for €13. It's self-service, so service is practically nonexistent. colossal portions à la Bud Spencer (they can feed 2-3 people). The first courses are very good, the pasta is very well cooked. The second courses, with just a side dish, are good; they could feed a family from Northern Italy! The bill includes sorbet and coffee. If I'm within a 100km radius, I'll be back.

15/12/2025: A very unique and charming Western-style restaurant, because even though it's not very large, it's organized to feel immense. The service was good, with friendly and helpful staff and very short wait times. It's a shame about the prices, which are a bit high for the quality of the food, but the quantity is generous.

A charcuterie platter (strictly discounted) with a ventricina that was definitely not from Abruzzo and other low-quality cured meats. The lasagna was tiny, drenched in acidic sauce to give the impression of abundance. For the price, it's disrespectful. Also, the waiters were too quick to clear the table even though there was almost no one there. I definitely won't be returning.

The food is good, but so abundant that it's hard to finish it—a shame because you end up not really enjoying it.
The wait time between courses could be improved: it's too long, especially if you're with children.
Very friendly and helpful staff.

04/10/2025: I went for dinner with my wife and I can say we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was very welcoming. We ordered the house menu and were very satisfied.
The owner was very friendly and professional, as he was very interested in our opinion of his business. The waiters were very knowledgeable and friendly, and the service was quick and attentive.
We will definitely be back.

13/12/2025: We stopped for lunch at this fantastic place. The atmosphere is intimate and convivial, and we immediately felt at home. The dishes are truly exquisite; the apple pie was the best I've ever had, I highly recommend it. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
02/10/2025: Very nice place; we went for lunch on a weekday. Unfortunately, the service was very slow because, from what we saw, the woman was alone. She was super nice, but we waited over an hour for a plate of overcooked pasta.
The platter was a bit sparse; there were more pickles than cured meats and cheeses.
I honestly can't recommend it highly enough. It's a shame because the place is very good.

Ristorante B&B Camping da Rondinella

03/10/2025: We (sadly) returned to this exceptional privately run campsite for the second time in six years. It's quiet, with no road noise. At night, you can hear wolves howling or deer bellowing. The site is flat and wooded. Almost every pitch has an outdoor sink. Electricity is available. The bathrooms and showers are basic but clean. Anyone staying here in Abruzzo shouldn't miss Nicola's delicious cuisine. We'll definitely be back.
19/09/2025: Campsite nestled between Caramanico Terme and the Maiella. We stayed five nights in a tent. The pitch was well-organized with electricity and a sink, and clean bathrooms were just steps away. The restaurant was also excellent. It was a unique experience to hear the deer bellowing at night. If you're in the area, it definitely offers a great base for exploring the surrounding area.

25/08/2025: In the center of Castel di Sangro, a very nice bar with indoor and outdoor tables. Good desserts and ice creams. In particular, the lemon one made as it once was is excellent. Very kind staff.
