18/10/2025: Restaurant in a quiet area. The setting is pleasant. The waiters are very professional and the food is very good.
18/10/2025: So, you have to book a table to eat here. There are 2 sessions..one at 7.30 pm and one at 9.30 pm. We chose the earlier option. You are waiting outside with everyone else until they decide to open the door. You feel privileged to have booked a table because if you didn't you are turned away with eyes on your back!! So we sit down and eventually order. The menu choice isn't fantastic. To be honest, I had high hopes for this place. I had the fettuccine ragu which wasn't great, and husband had the rack of lamb which was the smallest I've ever seen, with 5 little squares of potato?? Seriously? Overpriced hyped up and really not worth the money and time. Go elsewhere. The vibe is yuk...

02/11/2025: I've been going there for years, but this time, because of the guy who serves (the tattooed one, to be clear), I don't think I'll go back... Secondly, he needs to change jobs because the waiter doesn't really know what he is.
19/10/2025: Everything was super good (from the appetizers to the meat) and very plentiful. The atmosphere was clean and tidy. The hostess was courteous and kind. We'll be back as soon as possible.

25/09/2025: Excellent pizza and delicious desserts prepared directly by their very friendly and knowledgeable staff who know how to recommend and, above all, are very quick to serve. The appetizer was also excellent; those meatballs were really good. The owner even offered us a amaro. An experience we absolutely will repeat.

12/09/2025: I finally managed to have lunch at this restaurant with my family. The tasting menu offers a fixed price, perfectly in line with the quality and number of courses. The chef, the host, personally comes to the table to chat with guests, which we greatly appreciated. It allowed us to share ideas and created a convivial and joyful atmosphere. I applaud the use of borage, both fried and parmigiana-style, which is truly exquisite.

Simple, seasonal dishes made with the freshest ingredients.
I highly recommend a lunch with the maestro for a relaxing, convivial experience.

Una delusione,tanto fumo e niente arrosto questo è il termine adatto per definire questo posto e non solo il luogo anche chi lo gestisce sono passati 3 anni da tutto ciò è purtroppo noi ne riportiamo ancora l'amaro in bocca e non solo noi,dove 2 genitori hanno fatto sacrifici tutto l'anno per rendere la comunione della propria figlia una meraviglia ci siamo affidati a loro e al signore che ci accolse come il film di pinocchio luì naturalmente era la volpe o il gatto (scegliete voi) e noi poveri illusi alle prime Volte ci siamo affidati a lui.
Scegliemmo villa jamele per il posto che tanto di capello ne vale la pena poi ci mostro il menù ed era ok animazione e DJ ottimo dissi c'è tutto e sembra essere davvero tutto molto bello, sii certo come no un giorno prima della comunione ci chiamano e ci dicono guardi c'è un problema non possiamo fare più a villa jamele perché è saltata la corrente e abbiamo dei problemi quindi vi sposteremo (60 persone) a villa paradiso.
Lo sconforto la rabbia mi arrabbio con quel povero di mio marito, lì non mi piaceva troppo retroò il signor Francesco non si fece nemmeno trovare quando portammo la roba li, vabbè calmiamoci è solo una sala...
Giorno della comunione: arriviamo disposizione dei tavoli non comment eravamo insieme ad altra gente e vabbè lasciamo stare anche questo particolare,aria cupa il dj che non ha nominato una sola volta mia figlia una paranoia totale,ok dissi vabbè ora i bambini faranno qualcosa con l'animazione signori e signori non c'era l'animazione si scusano dicendo che il padre della ragazza dell'animazione non si era sentito bene 😱 io dissi ma e' uno scherzo un piano B? Non c'è mia figlia pianse tutto il giorno e noi con lei con una pena al cuore che ci portiamo ancora oggi, a per il mangiare niente di particolare un 6 è più che sufficiente.

03/10/2025: A guarantee of quality, a Foggia institution. It never fails. You can eat there once every two years or two days in a row, and it's always impeccable. Everyone is friendly, and the waitress is a true professional, attentive to every detail and need.

Ristorante Hotel Vittoria

11/10/2025: We had lunch at Hotel Vittoria and, as always, it was an excellent experience! The staff is extremely kind and helpful, and the service is impeccable. We appreciated their friendliness from the moment we arrived: they let us park and use the restroom before returning for lunch, everything was perfectly organized. It's now a regular stop for us—every time a testament to the quality and hospitality.
06/10/2025: Yesterday, having arrived by car at the Padre Pio Shrine, we began to search for a parking lot. We soon found a very small (and full) lot. There, we met a gentleman who "advised" us to continue about 30 meters further and enter the (guarded!) parking lot of the Hotel Vittoria, on the condition, of course, that we stop for lunch (either directly or by advance reservation). He handed us a sort of flyer that, among other things, highlighted a set menu for €25. A little skeptical but enthusiastic about the parking lot located a few steps from the Shrine, rather than the menu (given the cost, it didn't bode well), we immediately accepted the offer. From there, it was a succession of pleasant surprises:
- the kindness and friendliness of all the hotel staff, including those in the dining room;
- the waiters were outnumbered by the number of tables (which we found were all occupied!), resulting in impeccable, attentive, and fast service;
- simple yet varied, plentiful, and delicious dishes;
- mineral water in a glass bottle (which we opened ourselves) and carafe wine, included in the price;
- cleanliness in everything we saw.
Furthermore, the facility has a convenient, free-standing external staircase or, alternatively, an elevator (for 50 cents) that leads directly to the street, saving those wishing to reach the Sanctuary a hundred meters or more of a steep and tiring climb. Practically everyone. This is fantastic!
Last but not least, we left our car around 11:30 AM and picked it up at 6:00 PM with the facility's approval.
Congratulations for the professionalism expressed in efficiency, quality, and the commendable honesty of the service.

05/11/2025: Cuisine based on locally grown products, prepared according to ancient peasant culinary art and presented by the owner in a discreet, impeccable, and expert manner.

04/11/2025: As soon as you step inside this place, you feel like you've entered a TV set: Kitchen Nightmares. But then, as you sit down at the table, begin to fully enjoy the experience, and especially as you wander into the dilapidated "bathroom," you quickly realize you're not in Kitchen Nightmares, but rather on the set of "Operation NAS." We found the "open kitchen" to be a plus, as it allowed us to better see our dishes being prepared by a chef in a T-shirt and shorts, who also served as dishwasher (by hand, as there's no dishwasher, like any other hygiene standard here). The dishes at the table were therefore dirty, as was the entire place, as the photos don't do the harsh reality justice. The owner, dressed to the nines in a suit and tie, thinks he's more like a "four restaurants," explaining that it's a real, typical osteria, though they're thankful no one has ever inspected the exhaust hood. The cheese is on a grater, so guests at different tables can pass it around and grate it on their plates.
This entire "authentic Bovino experience," as the host told us, cost a whopping €30 per person, which made us think that if we were the Bovino Pro Loco, we'd immediately file a formal complaint. Before booking, we were warned that the POS wasn't working that day due to connection issues (but not that the menu is fixed), but reading other reviews, it seems to me that the place is in an electromagnetic black hole, since it has never worked. Obviously, no receipt is provided, to reflect the true experience of 100 years ago, when they didn't have cards or cash registers.
Don't make the same mistake we did, and if it's already too late, head to the excellent bar and pastry shop across the street, which is very clean, modern, and, above all, complies with Italian health and hygiene standards.

10/09/2025: Excellent in every way. The welcoming atmosphere and the extremely friendly staff make you feel at home, pampered, and truly at ease. The pizza is delicious, with well-leavened dough and always fresh, top-quality ingredients. We also had a tagliata, which was tender and cooked to perfection. We've eaten here several times, and what always stands out is the quality of the ingredients and the passion with which they are prepared. Recommended!
30/08/2025: Excellent restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. The food is quite good, with a choice of 4/5 excellent first courses and 4/5 excellent second courses, as well as equally good appetizers. We'll definitely return, perhaps even for a simple pizza.
