12/09/2025: After having a divine lunch at Medioevo restaurant for Christmas, we decided to return for a family lunch on our return to Monte Sant'Angelo. The daily menu offers meat, seafood, and even vegetarian options!
Eggplant rolls with troccoli and tomato sauce were exquisite.
Grilled cacio cheese with green cherry tomato compote was the main course, and a selection of desserts to finish.
The staff were incredibly kind and friendly.

23/08/2025: We went for a week in the morning, and then returned almost every evening for the next week!!!
The food is delicious, fresh, and impeccably presented.
High-quality meat and cheeses.
I also loved the panzanella, a truly simple dish revisited in a fresh and delicious way.
To top it off, the desserts were truly delicious, so much so that I ordered at least 2-3 of them each evening just for myself.
The price is very fair; in fact, considering the quality of the ingredients, it's truly a gift.
I will definitely be back for dinner as soon as I have the chance!
22/08/2025: Reservations are recommended on peak tourist days. Classic seafood and meat menu, with a few specialties. Excellent wine selection. Good value. Highly recommended.

20/08/2025: An impeccable welcome, with a kindness so symbolic of the village in which the restaurant is located.
The dishes were excellent, the dessert delicious, and the little limoncello was offered. 🍋 The restaurant's setting is peaceful and wonderful at sunset.

15/08/2025: Very welcoming atmosphere. Courteous staff and excellent service. Traditional dishes and excellent quality ingredients. The bill was proportionate to what we consumed.

31/08/2025: A bit of a "pretentious" place for a cocktail bar, whether it's the waiters who look down on you, or the "signature" cocktails which are very pretty but frankly didn't impress me. And what's more, a large part of the good tables are pre-booked in advance, so simple tourists... move on!
30/08/2025: Located in Lecce's historic center, this was the city's first cocktail bar.
It has become a national reference and is well worth a visit.
The space is super pleasant, especially the outdoor tables. The interior is rustic and true to the city's architectural lines.
The cocktails are great! There's a wide variety to choose from, from classics to signature cocktails.
The atmosphere is great, as is the service.
I recommend it!

04/09/2025: We've traveled extensively throughout Puglia, but we've never seen a place like this! A perfect week... beautiful, immaculately clean property, professional yet simple and welcoming staff, as only true homeowners can be.
Superb and varied breakfast, heavenly pool... in short, absolutely everything was top-notch.
03/09/2025: I had dinner at the masseria.
What can I say? It was a charming place, the staff were kind and attentive, and the service impeccable.
A special mention for the monkfish Wellington, which was truly delicious.
I wanted to thank PierPaolo for the attentive service and for his friendliness and kindness.
Highly recommended!

04/09/2025: Really enjoyed our evening here. The food was delicious and there was a good menu with good choices. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. The wine recommendation was very good and we enjoyed the wine. We returned 2 days later and had the same wonderful experience. Sadly we must return home so cannot return to Matisse but would highly recommend it. Grazie.
03/09/2025: My roots are in Salento, but I live in the north, and every summer I can't leave without dining at Matisse. It never disappoints; everything is perfect, with a menu that's meticulously crafted in both quality and presentation. The staff is professional and attentive. They never disappoint; every time it's a pleasant and tasty discovery. Well done.
