La tessitura

01/10/2025: I went to this restaurant with my family. My expectations were high, but they were disappointed...
First, the nonexistent welcome. We arrived and there was no one in the dining room other than the customers, and we waited several minutes for the waiter to arrive.
Once we were seated, I noticed my glass was dirty and pointed it out to the waiter, who immediately went to wash it. In a restaurant with only a few tables, there shouldn't be this kind of carelessness...
I ordered a glass of wine; it had probably been opened a few days earlier or hadn't been stored properly because it wasn't good.
We chose our dishes, they arrived, and the waiter disappeared again, leaving the dining room abandoned. We had run out of water and there was no one to order it from.
The bread they brought us was hard, definitely not fresh.
After finishing dinner, we left, without dessert or coffee.
€60 for three with the The Fork discount, but it still wasn't worth it.

10/10/2025: Finally, a pizzeria with alternative pizzas! We chose the charcoal dough, and I must say it's very digestible and leaves you feeling thirsty. There are so many pizzas to choose from, catering to all tastes, including a wide selection of vegan pizzas. The desserts are almost all vegan and are just as good as the "traditional" ones; in fact, they're much lighter and not overly sugary. The place is simply furnished, and everything is clean and tidy. The service is quick and courteous.

Upon arriving,my Fiance and I were immediately greeted by the owner who welcomed us into his restaurant with a huge smile on his face. The warm hospitality and immaculate service is incredible, and the food is even better.
We started with the oysters, had the Paccheri ai Gamberi con pesto di Pistacchio di Bronte e pomodorini confit and Fettucine al ragu di polpo. Each meal was delicious and all paired incredibly well with the bottle of wine that was recommended to us. Trust their recommendations!! The staff is amazing and will not lead you wrong.
Thank you again Mamaioa, we will be back next time we’re in Lecco!

20/09/2025: Wedding 05/09/2025 Patrizia and Mirko. We would like to thank all the staff for making our wedding so special and wonderful. Beautiful location, I highly recommend it. Mirko, the guy who manages the wedding planning, is extremely kind and was able to advise us on all our options when the couple was confused and indecisive. The waiters were very kind and always smiling. Thank you so much for everything.
14/09/2025: I was a guest of a nephew's for his wedding, and unfortunately I have to give a negative review regarding the organization (especially the menu). Since I couldn't eat certain foods, my nephew offered me, when I booked, the option of a second course of fish of my choice.
The result? They made me skip the first course (a risotto), and for the second course they served me a tasting consisting of:
Three button mushrooms, three corn croutons, and a tomato sauce.
Moral of the story: they mistook me for a vegan, and on a diet at that. The only thing that's worth it is the location.

26/04/2025: Amazing and unexpected location immersed in the greenery of a local town called Valloria. Massimo and his staff create an atmosphere which, thanks to the furnishings combined with good food, ensures a 5-star experience. Compliments.
18/04/2025: Hostaria il Cavallo per chi come noi la conosce è da sempre una garanzia, un posto che mi sento di consigliare agli amanti di pesce che vogliono assaporare piatti classici rivisitati dalla creatività dell'Oste Massimo e della madre.
Situato in un paesino nelle campagne lombarde a ridosso del fiume Po, qui potrete godere della tranquillità e del fascino di una realtà ancora immutata dal tempo e di una conviviale atmosfera fra gli abitanti del paese di cui l'Hostaria è il fiore all'occhiello.
Se siete inoltre amanti dei cavalli come l'Oste, potrete visitare il maneggio situato a pochi passi per godervi a pieno l'atmosfera rurale del posto.
Piatto forte? Senza dubbio il risotto gambero rosso e tartufo, un piatto che solitamente mette d'accordo anche i più scettici, ma il mio preferito rimane l'antipasto di mare caldo (foto in allegato) piccoli assaggi di esplosioni di sapori che vorresti non finissero mai.
Le regine della festa sono le cozze ripiene che lasciano il desiderio di farne indigestione.
Che dire? :
È consigliabile agli amanti di pesce di farvi tappa, non ve ne pentirete.

12/07/2025: An excellent experience at an osteria that combines attention to detail, quality ingredients, and genuine customer service. We chose the tasting menu, which proved rich in well-balanced flavors, featuring traditional dishes revisited with taste and sensitivity.
A great strength is the attention to intolerances, allergies, and specific dietary needs: each course was expertly and respectfully adapted, without ever sacrificing flavor or presentation.
The service was punctual, courteous, and discreet. All this was complemented by excellent value, making the experience even more satisfying. A must-have for those seeking authentic and inclusive cuisine, capable of welcoming each guest with professionalism and warmth.

04/07/2025: I had lunch there about ten days ago.
Excellent location, excellent service, excellent quality of the dishes served. Everything would be perfect if not, unfortunately, for the excessively expensive prices, just beyond belief.
I think it is unacceptable that a person at lunch for a first course, a second course, a dessert and a glass of wine ends up spending €75.
I am very sorry because for this reason I will not be able to return.

The service is professional yet friendly and puts you at ease.
Dishes are made with excellent ingredients, combined with technique and imagination, blending tradition with innovation.
The quality/price ratio is excellent.
Highly recommended!
