22/05/2025: Quite a small place...but well-kept and well-maintained (I haven't had the pleasure of being in the internal garden yet), run by very nice and kind people. I tried the pinsa and I have to say that it is truly exquisite and very easy to digest. Very honest prices and quality products...very good and homemade desserts. I had known it for work (at lunch I had eaten traditional dishes well too)...after having been there one evening with my family, I really think it will become my go-to place.

25/06/2025: I don't think I'll be back in the future. Even before entering we pointed out that we had a dog with us, after asking if it was a problem and being told that it wouldn't be, we sat down. Evidently the dog was a problem since the staff who served us at the table were scared and didn't even come near to put down the plates and take away the empty ones. It would have been enough to be honest and say "look unfortunately in this shift there are waiters who are scared of dogs, better if you come another time", it would have certainly been more appreciated rather than having to spend the whole dinner taking the plates ourselves and tugging the dog under the table.

27/05/2025: Da almeno da 2 anni, due Sabati al Mese con il mio compagno andiamo a Pranzo dal Mario, e posso dire che ci troviamo sempre benissimo, mai una volta che siamo usciti che non eravamo soddisfatti. Materia Prima eccellente,pasta fresca e fatta rigorosamente a mano da loro ,piatti abbondanti e dolci SUPER. L'ambiente informale ma carico di calore e amicizia.

The restaurant has a beautiful environment and the dining area overlooks the elegant garden view, which fully demonstrates the experience of the five senses. In terms of food, each dish is brilliant, rich in layers, and highlights the advantages of the ingredients. The seafood, including octopus and fish, are particularly well handled. Especially the fish, which is similar to the "steamed fish" cooking method in Chinese Cantonese cuisine. It is tender and smooth while retaining the freshness of the fish meat. Every bite touches the taste buds. In terms of wine pairing, the sommelier is very professional and the recommended wine is excellent, which matches the dishes perfectly. The service is impeccable, professional, polite, attentive, and comfortable. In general, the three-star honor is well deserved.

Si gustano piatti di ottima qualità e ben curati. Corte Matilde ha una profonda conoscenza della materia prima e propone sempre prodotti stagionali , locali e anche selezioni prelibate da provenienze tracciate.buon rapporto qualità prezzo. In coppia mediamente + di 100 euro. Lo consiglio senza ombra di dubbio. Cena e servizio pienamente soddisfacente. Consigliata la prenotazione .

13/07/2025: A restaurant with exceptionally high-quality waiter service. Elegant and respectful, we felt fantastically well-cared for. The dishes were presented in a modern style, with an interesting combination of flavors, and melt-in-your-mouth dishes (we especially recommend the faraona, capon, tortelli di zucca, and chitarra mediteranea). Plus, there were side dishes between the menus, such as puff pastry rolls with salt, sbrisolona, olive oil, and mini desserts. We visited twice during our stay in Mantua, and if the opportunity arises, we will definitely return.

06/07/2025: Every detail was perfectly attended to. The food was the best we’ve had in Italy. We would definitely drive an hour to eat here again. Also there is a medium sized parking lot right in front of the restaurant. We stopped here on the way home to Verona from a day trip.
