26/06/2025: There is a reason why this restaurant has been open for over a hundred years. Fixed menu with traditional dishes, carefully prepared and of excellent quality, with some very good variations. The portions are generous and they always ask if they are sufficient. Attentive service. If you are in the area it is worth stopping by.

22/06/2025: We had a great time! Friendly and welcoming waiters. Refined and sophisticated food with a mix of “retro” flavors that encourages you to experiment and taste traditional local dishes. After dinner they invited us to browse their cellar and food shop (they are also open to the public during the day).

14/06/2025: A good traditional restaurant. I really enjoyed the first courses, the risotto with snails was superb. I liked the second courses less. Excellent value for money.

13/05/2025: In recent times, unfortunately, prices have increased and the quality of the ingredients has significantly decreased, as has the quantity of the various fillings. Excellent service and environment, but you can't eat those.

11/05/2025: A little out of the way of the historic center of Cremona but worth a walk to enjoy an excellent and delicious pizza. Average price. The pizzeria is takeaway but has a covered outdoor area with tables for eating.

29/06/2025: I got married in this Villa so the place is very beautiful the food is excellent except that in the contract therefore also establishing the price we had oysters in the buffet but in reality they never arrived and no one warned us they simply served scallops where the price is very different The service very helpful and polite except for one waiter who continued to rush us However overall it was beautiful I will definitely recommend it but paying attention to these things

24/06/2025: I spent ten days in this 3-star hotel for work reasons and the experience was truly excellent from every point of view. The structure is clean, tidy and well organized, ideal for those seeking tranquility and functionality during a prolonged stay. The room was comfortable, quiet and always well cared for by the staff. The service was always punctual and courteous, with great attention to the needs of the guests. As far as I'm concerned, the real strong point of the hotel is the restaurant: a real pearl that made every evening a special moment. The cuisine is surprising, with dishes taken care of in detail, fresh ingredients and combinations that were never banal. Each course was able to amaze me, thanks to the expert hand of the chef, who transmits passion and competence in every dish. Another aspect that I particularly appreciated is the underground cellar, well stocked and cared for, which offers a truly remarkable selection of wines. The staff is prepared and can recommend the right combinations, making the culinary experience even more complete. The restaurant added value to the stay, transforming a business trip into a pleasant and satisfying experience, with attentive service and a relaxing atmosphere. A special thanks goes to Chef Maurizio, for his professionalism, passion and care that he puts into every dish. He made every dinner a little show. I highly recommend this structure for both professional stays and moments of relaxation. I will definitely return.

13/05/2025: I stayed for two days. The entire staff was very friendly and kind. The room was clean and old-fashioned. The best part was the restaurant! A wonderful experience.

14/06/2025: If I ever return to Cremona I would come back here to eat, or rather to taste. Perfect atmosphere, table service like no longer used elsewhere. For my tastes I would prefer a little less butter. Superfluous to talk about the dishes, all prepared with mastery. All this has a cost and, consequently...that's okay.

26/05/2025: We booked and we specifically asked for a table outside. The person on the phone told me the weather won't be perfect, but they assured me they will serve us outside. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, and we said we booked a table outside. They told us they won't be serving us outside (same person I spoke to on the phone), and when I said I was told over the phone they would, he shrugged his shoulders, defiantly smiled and asked if I want to cancel my reservation. I left and won't be trying to come back, this was one of the worst experiences I had in a restaurant. -------------- Update, since the restaurant replied to my original review: I find these comments to be quite surprising since we were not even customers. We attempted to be, but were refused service on the terrace. For avoidance of doubt, the climate was so "merciless" that we were easily able to find a terrace that was more than happy to serve us dinner outside. Given that there are much friendlier options available in town, places that actually care about customers and creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere, I'd recommend seeking them out rather than eating here.

28/06/2025: This place was one of the most popular dinner spots with quite a bit of people waiting. We thankfully didn't have to wait too long as a pair. If your group is larger than a pair, it might be best to split into smaller groups. We ordered white wine, san pelligrino, pasta with fish, a burrata salad and salmon topped with pistachios. The salmon and burrata salad had such distinct and strong flavors. The burrata was refreshing and the salmon was savory with a nice crisp. The pasta was delicious, however the flavors were a bit dull. The food here was 11/10 and would love to come back ~

28/06/2025: Excellent restaurant in Varenna. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and we were lucky enough to snag two tables on the spur of the moment. The service was very attentive and friendly. The selection of dishes is really good, with something for everyone, including vegetarians. The price-performance ratio is also good for the quality offered. Highly recommended!

21/06/2025: We stayed here for 3 nights and ate at the restaurant 3 times. Our room was very spacious, clean and had a nice view of the lake. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The food was excellent. Everything we ate was delicious and fresh, you can tell they use high quality ingredients.

10/06/2025: A super dog-friendly, lovely hotel and restaurant with excellent cuisine and very attentive, partly German-speaking staff. We'll be back.
