23/10/2025: My stay at the hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff were very welcoming and provided excellent service. Their hospitality and attention to guests were truly impressive. The place was very clean and of high quality, and the food was delicious and varied. I would like to thank the hotel management and all the staff for their outstanding service.

Last weekend, I had the honor and pleasure of attending a refined event organized by Giuliana Di Venti Hospitality Experience at the Boutique Hotel Don Alfonso 1890, a gem nestled in the heart of Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi. It was an experience I can confidently call memorable, thanks to the extraordinary synergy between hospitality, a culture of hospitality, and profound humanity.
We were a group of twelve, and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a rare grace and care. We had the privilege of meeting the Iaccarino family, true custodians of an art of hospitality passed down from generation to generation. Don Alfonso, Livia, Mario, and Ernesto are the embodiment of timeless elegance, born of passion, dedication, and sincere attention to their guests. Every gesture, every word, every smile conveyed the warmth of a noble home, where the guest is never a client, but a person.
I would like to extend a special thanks to Fortunato, Silvia, and Giusy, the cornerstones of the reception and customer service, always present with discretion, professionalism, and courtesy. In particular, Fortunato proved to be a valuable guide on the tour of the Le Peracciole farm in Punta Campanella: a place where the values of Don Alfonso take concrete form, through an absolute dedication to organic farming, respect for the environment, recycling, and the pursuit of a minimal yet significant ecological impact. A virtuous example of authentic sustainability.
The culinary experience was, as expected, absolutely extraordinary. Each dish, a narrative; each flavor, a discovery. The quality of the raw materials, the attention to presentation, the expertly balanced pairings, the gastronomic narrative that accompanies each course: everything contributes to creating a sensory journey that remains etched in the memory.
To round out the experience, a visit to the historic winery opened the doors to a world of winemaking excellence, while the display of Don Alfonso products proved a treasure trove of inspiration for useful and refined gifts, ideal for the holiday season.
In conclusion, the Boutique Hotel Don Alfonso 1890 is more than just a place to stay or dine, but a temple of authentic Mediterranean hospitality, where luxury manifests itself in the quality of human relationships, local culture, and elegant gestures.
A heartfelt thank you to the Iaccarino family and all the staff for providing us with such a deeply meaningful experience.

13/10/2025: I can confidently say that this restaurant was the best experience I had in Italy.
I was treated most warmly by the restaurant with first-class service, which made the experience even more delightful.
The interior was majestic, with open windows to enjoy the spectacular weather coming from the sea.
The food was sublime. Some highlights for me were:
1. Appetizer, inspired by Quattro Passi's early days as a pizzeria
2. Mullet Wafer: Must-try, my favorite dish. I can't emphasize this dish enough, I'm confident this is the best fish I've ever tasted in my life.
3. Tomato pasta: It looks like any normal tomato pasta, with only noodle and red sauce, but the flavor is out of this world. Really really surprised by the flavor, the richness of the tomato is so dense, it completely dominates.
4. Saffron, rice, chocolate tart: Wonderfully rich flavor, with fun textures coming from the rice grains
It's quite difficult to travel there, but I sincerely wish I can enjoy another meal at this place again in the future.

10/10/2025: The experience was interesting. We got to eat in various parts of the restaurant guided by the waitress and sommelier. It started off well - interesting and innovative food paired with great wines. The food started to get rich and the drinks went downhill. We were given beer despite me saying I don’t drink beer. We were given the dregs of two bottles, one which had lost its fruit and the other full of sediment. The food became increasingly rich and harder to eat. Each of the three desserts were served with ice cream. Surely a 2 Michelin star chef could have more imagination than ice cream! BTW, it was mostly vegetarian.
06/10/2025: We spent hours carefully reviewing and comparing Michelin starred restaurants for our trip to Italy. We landed on Piazetta Milù. All I will say is our experience, the food, everything, exceeded our highest expectations. Thank you to the team for one of my most memorable dining experiences.

05/09/2025: Honestly, this place is truly a hidden gem! Incredible value for the amount of food we got. We started with mussels swimming happily in a tomato oil broth, then dove into a “rabbit-less” rabbit pasta and a surprisingly not too hearty Ischian bean pasta. All superb—highly recommend
02/09/2025: We went there one evening with the family, having followed the recommendations on the internet, and we were not disappointed! The place can go unnoticed when you pass by in the street, but not its cuisine or its atmosphere! You can see that it is a well-known and sought-after address despite its small size. We had a starter and a main course each, and my husband's choices were to die for! Tuna tartare with exotic fruits and spaghetti with white meat ragout. They were lovely and offered us a very small appetizer as well as a small glass of limoncello. We recommend it!

I recommend the tasting with its wine selection. It's also great with children. On weekends or in the summer when there are lots of tourists, you should make a reservation. Thank you for this wonderful, happy place 😀
20/10/2025: We stayed nearby, choosing it for its distance. It was a pleasant surprise. The staff was delightful. Even though they didn't speak our language, they were very open to understanding our requests.
The appetizer: Pizza Genaro was exquisite with an incredible sauce. Then I had some stuffed gnocchi, which were the most delicious I've ever had. The dessert was mascarpone with pistachio and a crumble... a delicacy.
Excellent restaurant, 100% recommended.

28/09/2025: The worst food you can possibly get in Italy. This is a bold statement but it’s hard to get any bad food in Italy normally but it’s as if this place has taken a trip to northern England, gone into a run down corner shop, purchased the cheapest ingredients, cooked it there, kept it on a hot plate then shipped it back ready to be eaten for the poor clientele that pay good money! I honestly wouldn’t even give this food to my dead dog. DO NOT GO!

Chef Peppe Guida is an extraordinary storyteller: with simple gestures and local ingredients, he manages to create a moving sensory journey. The tasting menu is a symphony of authentic flavors, with touches of genius that never betray tradition. Vegetables from the garden, the catch of the day, homemade pasta: everything speaks of the region, the seasons, and respect.
The service is impeccable, never intrusive, always attentive. The setting is elegant yet intimate, with details that tell the story of the family and Campania cuisine. Every corner exudes authenticity.
The dessert menu is pure magic: a closing meal that leaves its mark, with balance, technique, and heart.
