24/07/2025: Piombino is worth a visit not only for its beautiful seaside town, but also to visit Simone and Fabio at La Taverna. Their cuisine is always innovative and the fish is incredibly fresh.

06/09/2025: I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recebt visit to your restaurant last Wednesday.
Overall, the atmosphere was pleasent, thought it was quite crowed.
I particulary enjoyed the pasta wirh seafood and porcino mushrooms; it was truly delicious ans a highlight of the meal. However, I found the beef with potetos to be somewhat unispired and not par with the pasta.
Additionally, the dessert did not meet the expectstions set by a restaurant of your reputation.
In my opinion, there are areas for improvement to elevate the overall dining experience

The seafood dishes were excellent.
The service was prompt and attentive.

On our way back from a trip to the area, we decided to extend our stay and stop here for dinner. It was a delightful experience with very hospitable service. They had fresh porcini mushrooms picked that day and brought us a truly generous tagliatelle, which we devoured! It's a shame the tray wasn't edible, otherwise we would have eaten that too. Thank you, and see you soon!

09/07/2025: We had an anniversary dinner at Il Melograni. We were a family with 3 generations present. The food and service was amazing. We had preordered the meal with a cake for dessert. Beatiful and tasty cake and my parents were superhappy with the food and arrangements. I highly recommend the restaurant. Well done, Matteo and the rest of the team.

25/08/2025: The only restaurant we visited twice during our Tuscany vacation. The whole village, young and old, regularly gathers here, which we really enjoyed.
All the appetizers were delicious. The pizza is exactly what you'd want and expect in Italy. Perfect base, local toppings. We tried several and liked them all. Each table is served homemade chili oil in three different strengths. The strongest is really hot – but amazing! If you like it, like me, you have to go here.
The tiramisu is especially recommended. It's also the best thing we've eaten so far on this vacation.
The owner and staff were also super friendly and very accommodating.
If we ever find ourselves in this part of Tuscany again, we'll definitely be back!

The staff was really friendly and we got really nice information on the menu.
The food was also good.
