13/04/2026: When I'm in San Cataldo, I regularly visit the NEW YORK bar/rosticceria, and it never disappoints. For those who love the delicacies of San Cataldo, here you'll find arancini (rice and ragù, top marks!) and truly excellent rosticceria. Breakfast is a highlight for a hearty breakfast; their croissants filled in every way are unbeatable! Rich in fillings, with an incredible variety. Special praise goes to the staff: a young, kind, and very friendly team who always make you feel welcome. A place that invites you to return!

25/07/2026: Catering – Alessandro Papa at Casale Feda We chose Alessandro Papa's catering for our wedding and couldn't have made a better choice. Everything was impeccable: excellent quality food, carefully prepared, plentiful, and enjoyed by all our guests. The service was professional, attentive, and always available, helping make our day even more special. We received so many compliments from our guests, both on the buffet and the lunch. Thank you to Alessandro and his entire staff for making our wedding unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend them!

27/06/2026: An excellent experience in every way We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant two days in a row, and the experience was impeccable. The cuisine offers excellent dishes, made with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. The quality-price ratio is also noteworthy, as it's decidedly balanced and fair considering the quality of the offerings. Making everything even more enjoyable was the welcome: all the staff and the wait staff were extremely professional, attentive, and friendly. A 100% recommendation, we'll definitely be back.

18/06/2026: The service, friendliness, and authenticity of the products offered—from cured meats to wines, cheeses, and pickled vegetables—are simply praiseworthy. Pippo, a name that's not particularly unique for the town (everyone here is called Pippo!), is a friendly friend who allowed me to sample a multitude of excellent local products. He himself, if needed, will arrange for any desired item to be delivered to your door. I personally tasted some very fragrant local wines, such as Vinudilice and Vinupetra, which I highly recommend.

21/07/2026: Highly recommended! The pizza was freshly made, the dough was perfect, and the ingredients were of excellent quality. What's especially nice is that the restaurant is family-run – you can tell immediately from the warm and personal manner of the entire team. Everyone is incredibly friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. We also had a pane condito, which was equally delicious – fresh, aromatic, and the perfect start to the meal. The price-performance ratio is also excellent. If you appreciate authentic Italian cuisine, this is the place for you. 🍕🇮🇹

15/07/2026: I highly recommend this pizzeria! It's small, cozy, and incredibly authentic. An older gentleman shapes the pizza dough right in front of you, tops it with fresh ingredients, and then puts the pizza in the oven. One pizza is the perfect portion for one person and surprisingly affordable. The young man who takes orders is incredibly friendly. There's a wide selection of pizzas, and the menu is available in several languages. Catania will forever hold a special place in my memory because of Mount Etna—and because of this wonderful pizzeria. ❤️

14/07/2026: It is a diamond in the city! One of the best pizzas we’ve had in Sicily! The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, the ingredients were fresh and full of flavor. Every bite tasted authentically Italian. You can really tell that everything is prepared with care and passion. Excellent value for money, highly recommended!

26/04/2026: We chose to dine here during an overnight stay in the area, and it couldn't have been a better choice. It's a small, very well-kept restaurant, with extremely helpful staff, including the waitress who was very friendly and engaging. The selection of local wines is truly interesting, with the owner guiding you through the selection based on your dishes. We tried the appetizers, first courses, and second courses, all truly excellent, made with local ingredients. Fair prices.
