Al Teatrino In Caltanissetta

I returned to Al Teatrino after a while, and at the end of the meal I wondered why I hadn't been back more often. Oh well, it's a beautiful, rustic, and welcoming place with outdoor seating in the surrounding streets. The must-try at my table is the MUSSEL SOUP. It's inimitable, delicious, plentiful, with a barely perceptible hint of chili pepper. I eat it everywhere, but nowhere like this. The pizzas are delicious, made in Nisseno, topped with flavor and quality, with attention to detail and perfectly leavened, with a wide assortment of flavors. Plus, the price is right—you can have lunch or dinner at a fair price. For anyone craving pizza, pasta, or a main course, this is a surefire place. Highly recommended.

This place was an absolute hidden gem and easily the best pasta we had in all of Sicily. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much—the curtains are closed and you might even think it’s not open—but don’t let that fool you. We came here on a recommendation, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible: fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with so much care. Every dish we tried was outstanding. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable for the quality we received, which made the experience even better. If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate—this place is 100% worth it.

As for the pizza, which I've often ordered with friends and eaten at the pizzeria a few times, there's no question: it's one of the best in the city! Both in terms of dough, cooking, and toppings. The staff is very friendly, family-like, and kind. The only issues are the location, especially if you have a car. And sometimes the waits to pick up the pizzas are very long...
