One of the best pizzas around, and as a restaurant it also has a lot to offer, in variety but above all quality.

We went to Pizzeria Vecchio Mulino on Valentine's Day 💘, so it was quite busy, but despite that, they seated us right away, without a long wait. The waiters were kind and helpful, and the service was truly excellent, which isn't a given on such a busy evening. We started with a delicious appetizer, albeit a bit limited in quantity: 2 buffalo mozzarellas with Parma ham, the truly delicious one, clearly of high quality. The pizzas (2 buffalo mozzarella margheritas) were very good, probably the best we've had in Caltanissetta so far. That said, they're still a bit unremarkable—good, yes, but without that extra something that makes you go crazy with joy… you know what I mean 😉 One sore point about the dessert: good, but very lacking. There was supposed to be a mix of fruit (kiwi, strawberries, etc.), but instead they only brought us strawberries, which was a bit disappointing compared to expectations. The price is a bit high, but considering it's Valentine's Day, I can easily understand that. The real downside, however, is the seating: tables were too crowded together, with people constantly passing by and the risk of jostling, which somewhat spoiled the atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful, fun, and enjoyable experience, even if it wasn't perfect. With a few more improvements to the space and desserts, it would easily be 5 stars.

True Caltanissetta pizza still exists. Finally, a dinner that reconciles tradition. Here you can eat real Caltanissetta pizza, the authentic one, which has nothing to do with the modern "Neapolitan" pizzas so trendy today. No rubbery crusts or unnecessary excesses, but a dough made to perfection, as our history dictates. The quality of the ingredients is evident at first bite, and the service is authentic: attentive, professional, and down-to-earth, without too many frills but with plenty of substance. If you're looking for the authentic flavor of Caltanissetta, this is the only place to go. An absolute guarantee.

Good pizza but too exaggerated in terms of prices, an American pizza plus sausage for €9 is crazy.

Excellent pizza at a fair price. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very welcoming location.

The pizzas were good and we enjoyed being in a typically Sicilian atmosphere; we were the only tourists.
