08/04/2026: The restaurant's location is beautiful (a little adventurous to get to), with a stunning glass window overlooking the gardens; the service was very warm (we were alone for lunch, which I think helped) and attentive. The tasting menu (La mia cucina) was excellent, with a special mention for the soft egg (with onion soup, creamy Parmignano, etc.)—it was terrifying. The price was fair for the quality, location, and the abundance of dishes. Recommended! P.S.: I'm giving the 5 stars for the rooms as if they were for the food, as there's no voice!

23/03/2026: A truly beautiful venue inside a luxurious hotel across from the main entrance to the Royal Villa. Attentive and friendly service. Very interesting menu. I chose the tasting menu featuring the chef's Campanian origins. I opted for venison for the main course instead of red mullet. Everything was truly remarkable. Nothing to complain about. Excellent wine pairing. Price in line with the offerings. I will definitely be back.

This tranquility, situated across the street from historical landmarks, instantly slows down your pace. * **Timeless Elegance:** The interior design blends classic English style with Italian sophistication. Oak paneling, antique furniture, and murals create an atmosphere of intimacy and luxury, like being in a private mansion. The panoramic glass veranda is particularly recommended; its abundant natural light and year-round temperature make it ideal for a romantic dinner or a leisurely lunch. * **Exquisite Service:** The service here is widely praised for being "refined and respectful." 02/03/2026: We couldn't have asked for anything better from a seaside lunch. The food was top-notch, with dishes that truly wowed us, and the service was wonderful, pampering us with every possible attention. Everything was truly perfect, and everyone was excellent.

24/03/2026: Stefano is a very good chef, and experience his kitchen is something nice to do. The wife is a perfect host and they both are very kind. We only have an issue with a table of two people keeping chatting loud on speaker phone… not really a perfect background in such a beautiful place

25/03/2026: Top recommendation in Puglia: Pure architecture & tranquility! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful stay! Borgo Egnazia impresses with its excellent architecture and blissful peace and quiet. The staff is incredibly friendly, and you can immediately tell that everything here is lovingly homemade. - Highlights: The excellent breakfast and a very good lunch. - Atmosphere: It's located a bit off the beaten path, but that's precisely what makes it so charming and relaxing. Conclusion: Even though dinner was rather average for us, we give it a full 5 stars for the overall experience. Absolutely recommended for an overnight stay!

24/02/2026: Arriving based on the reviews, we found a welcoming place with friendly, quick service. The food was good but didn't exactly win applause (the wild boar stew was too tough). The first courses offered didn't taste like the region they were served in, which was a bit out of place with the restaurant's interior and the town where the trattoria is located. What a shame.

07/02/2026: A well-deserved five stars for the excellent food, the unusual and generous appetizers, and not to mention the first courses... excellent, too. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Highly recommended.

11/04/2026: This review relates exclusively to the restaurant. "Antonio" is a chemist, alchemist, host, factotum, and strategist, in my humble opinion, responsible for the success of the experience. He manages time, warmly explains the product, and guides you through the experience with sobriety and genuine hospitality. When it comes to breathing, eating, and drinking the region with its excellence, from the aperitif with wild herbs to the homemade bitters made with helichrysum, wild asparagus, or bay leaves. I don't think there's anything else to add. A pearl nestled in the vibrant and culturally rich village of Santu Lussurgiu. A concentration of haute cuisine beyond compare. A few hundred meters away are the Sas Benas restaurant and the La Locanda del Convento pizzeria. The wine list is incredible, ranging from island specialties to French excellence.

03/03/2026: A truly stunning 17th-century residence for a stop in Santu Lussurgiu. Although the setting is very picturesque, I can't give it 5 stars because: - The room was a bit bare and dated. The parquet flooring was very noisy and slanted, so my single bed was also slanted. Furthermore, the topper was crooked and the mattress uncomfortable. I also slept poorly due to the noise from the restaurant; there's no soundproofing. - The restaurant was OK, but for a dinner costing almost €50 a head, I might have expected a little more. It was all good, mind you, but pretty standard. It's worth noting that the service was impeccable, though! So yes, it was a truly special experience, but for someone who's traveled to many hotels in different countries, I'd say the prices aren't adequate for the standard of service. I'd happily return, but perhaps skipping dinner at the restaurant and especially with headphones to sleep 😅

18/02/2026: This palace is absolutely amazing. Very nice staff and the owner is incredibly sweet. We spent 3 days and was really sad that we had to leave. You can take wonderful walks in there gardens that are really quiet, a perfect place to relax and rewind. The food was spot on perfect, fresh and genuine. The room was big and very clean. Definitely a place to visit. We will be back for shore.

23/11/2025: Beautiful place! Great park. Excellent food and excellent service. I've tried the restaurant three times and have never been disappointed. Easy to find, with ample parking!
