02/10/2025: We chose to celebrate our second anniversary at Pino Cuttaia's La Madia restaurant, and we couldn't have made a better choice. We opted for the "Scala dei Turchi" tasting menu, and every course was a true surprise: dishes crafted with meticulous attention to detail, balanced, and full of personality. A tasteful journey that is much more than just a simple dinner, but an experience worth experiencing at least once.
Compliments also to the service: the waiters were always attentive and thoughtful, making the evening even more special. A special thanks to Pino Cuttaia, who so kindly went from table to table to ensure everything was perfect.
An unforgettable memory that we will cherish forever.
We will definitely see you again soon.
02/10/2025: This is my experience at a two-Michelin-starred restaurant, and I must admit that before finishing dinner, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. We chose the blind "Scala dei Turchi" menu, which included eight savory courses and two sweet courses. The technical level was extremely high, with excellent ingredients placed in excellent hands who knew how to showcase them with skill and love.
This menu has only one flaw: it's a menu with actual portions, not tasting portions! So, I recommend stopping by for those who, like me, have a good appetite but aren't used to eating multiple courses. I wasn't able to finish dessert, and for that, I'm a little disappointed! Because the Chef delighted me with every dish, and I'm sure he would have done so down to the last bite.

14/09/2025: Beautiful place, especially in the summer when you can eat outside with a stunning view. The food is delicious and top-quality, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. We come here every chance we get because it's a guarantee. Antonio's cooking is incredible, and you can even try foods you wouldn't normally eat because you don't like them. We love it! Congratulations!
06/09/2025: I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recebt visit to your restaurant last Wednesday.
Overall, the atmosphere was pleasent, thought it was quite crowed.
I particulary enjoyed the pasta wirh seafood and porcino mushrooms; it was truly delicious ans a highlight of the meal. However, I found the beef with potetos to be somewhat unispired and not par with the pasta.
Additionally, the dessert did not meet the expectstions set by a restaurant of your reputation.
In my opinion, there are areas for improvement to elevate the overall dining experience

11/09/2025: Can’t even put into words how amazing this resort is—it feels like stepping into a Pinterest-worthy boutique hotel. We were warmly welcomed with drinks and a detailed introduction to everything the property offers: vineyard tours, a private beach, a private terrace with breathtaking ocean views, massages, and more.
The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, the staff incredibly friendly, and both breakfast and dinner absolutely delicious. All in all, this has been by far the best resort experience we’ve had in Sardinia.
10/09/2025: We stayed here for our honeymoon and were very unimpressed due to the price we paid. The level of service, food, amenities, and overall accommodations does not meet the criteria of a 4-star hotel and its nightly rate. The waiter who does mornings was especially notable for our lower rating — he was cold and unaccommodating, making us feel as though we were a nuisance. Be wary that all the plated “American” breakfast they advertise on Instagram is an extra fee and not included, as well. The pool area is quite dilapidated, and the beach “club” was average. There is no sort of attendant or notable food choices either. Even the well-remarked dinner was mediocre. We chose to eat elsewhere every other night of our stay. It is pretty much the only “upscale” hotel in the area, which is why I believe the rate is able to be set so high. Overall, it is clean, safe, and set on beautiful grounds but simply did not meet 4star/$650+ (USD) a night service/amenity expectations.

Refined cuisine, a refined and elegant atmosphere, and quality service.
The waiters were all very friendly, with a special mention for Kevin, who gave us excellent advice on which wine to pair with our dinner.

21/09/2025: The Academy isn't just a restaurant...it's a journey of flavors. And Cogliandro isn't just a chef, albeit an extraordinary one...he's an artist. The strascinati are the best swordfish and eggplant pasta dish I've ever eaten. Anyone who comes to Reggio Calabria cannot miss out on an experience in this wonderful place.
16/09/2025: We met Chef Cogliandro and his cuisine 12 years ago, and since then he has celebrated every anniversary. His cuisine is a crescendo of culinary experiences and sensations that highlight his love for the region and guide the palate in the discovery of extraordinary pairings.
The dining room staff is always attentive and friendly, the view is enchanting, and the spaces are well-maintained.
Beyond his cuisine, credit goes to the person: from the first moment we met him, he introduced himself as Filippo, a sociable, humble, and honest man who has fought on the front lines for the legality of the Reggio Calabria region. He also took two unaccompanied minors under his wing, teaching them the trade, leading them to great national recognitions.
In short, eating at A Gourmet is an experience that is good not only for the palate but also for the heart.
Go there! And you'll come back again.
