10/01/2026: Review of lunch, a nice and welcoming place, certainly not easy to get to. On a Sunday there was a large crowd of people for lunch. The service was definitely up to par. Dishes presented very well, the stuffed artichoke being the highlight, the breaded egg good but could have been better. The spaghetti was good but unfortunately undercooked. The tartare was good and the two unique and innovative desserts were excellent, definitely worth trying. Good value for money.
01/01/2026: My review is about the restaurant, where I hadn't had lunch in a long time. What can I say? In one word: amazing! The dishes are delicious and carefully prepared. You can try different dishes, and every bite is a true delight. In our case, we had three appetizers, a first course, and dessert (each better than the last). I highly recommend the artichoke in carrozza stuffed with buffalo mozzarella, the rabbit tuna, the tagliolini with white truffle, and the white chocolate mousse with black truffle shavings. If you love chocolate flan, this is the place for you. Try it and believe it. P.S.: the panoramic view is the highlight.

01/02/2026: Chef Cuttaia amazed and delighted us from start to finish: we chose the Scala dei Turchi menu. We heeded the chef's advice not to eat too much bread: there are more than ten courses, and not being able to taste them all would have been a real shame. It goes without saying that every dish was perfect in every way: presentation, taste, texture, and quality of the ingredients. This review isn't meant to judge the undisputed quality of the dishes, but to share the emotions we experienced. What the eye saw never matched what we ate. It was a constant surprise. Some dishes evoked memories of childhood flavors (for us, the Morettino and the pasta soup in particular), others spoke of the chef's experience of the region. Special praise goes to the attention to waste and the use of every part of the ingredients (the octopus skin, for example). And a further surprise was the use of gluten-free products for everyone, with exceptional results, thus eliminating any deviation from the "normal" menu, at a time when, unfortunately, finding gluten-free alternatives when dining out is still far from guaranteed. Finally, the pleasure of discovering the kindness and generosity of the chef and the dining room staff in sharing their emotions and life experiences made everything even more enjoyable. It was an honor to be your guests.
18/12/2025: We had very high expectations, and they were exceeded. The food was exceptional, Chef Cuttaia was always present at the tables, the service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was relaxing, perfect for a unique experience. Thank you for the emotions you gave us through your cuisine.

08/01/2026: It's strange of me to only now review a place I've been frequenting for years, where I've celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations... and yet here we are. I don't have much to say except that every time I return home to Lucca, whether in the winter or summer, I go here with my family. I can't wait to bring my friends who aren't from the area, because in addition to the wonderful and delicious dishes that meet everyone's needs, it's located in a special corner of Monte Carlo. For tourists and locals alike, a must.
07/01/2026: Everything was perfect! The venue, the service, and the food were all top-notch! As soon as we arrived, the welcome course arrived, along with a glass of prosecco. Once we'd chosen our courses (meat or fish), the entrée arrived accordingly: appetizer, first course, dessert entrée, dessert, coffee with accompanying pastries, and, of course, wine. We spent €70 each, which was more than reasonable for us! We'll definitely be back!

02/12/2025: The owners created an excellent charcuterie and cheese selection for my recent visit to Umbria. Fantastic flavors and representation of local products. We will be back next time we are in Italy.

13/01/2026: Il Balivo, a Champoluc institution, has become a must-visit for lovers of fine dining. It offers high-quality food and impeccable service, thanks to its friendly and knowledgeable staff. Reservations are required.
11/01/2026: Very cozy place. I had the sirloin steak and the beef fillet which were good. However, it lacked sauce which in my opinion should be included.

11/09/2025: Can’t even put into words how amazing this resort is—it feels like stepping into a Pinterest-worthy boutique hotel. We were warmly welcomed with drinks and a detailed introduction to everything the property offers: vineyard tours, a private beach, a private terrace with breathtaking ocean views, massages, and more. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, the staff incredibly friendly, and both breakfast and dinner absolutely delicious. All in all, this has been by far the best resort experience we’ve had in Sardinia.
10/09/2025: We stayed here for our honeymoon and were very unimpressed due to the price we paid. The level of service, food, amenities, and overall accommodations does not meet the criteria of a 4-star hotel and its nightly rate. The waiter who does mornings was especially notable for our lower rating — he was cold and unaccommodating, making us feel as though we were a nuisance. Be wary that all the plated “American” breakfast they advertise on Instagram is an extra fee and not included, as well. The pool area is quite dilapidated, and the beach “club” was average. There is no sort of attendant or notable food choices either. Even the well-remarked dinner was mediocre. We chose to eat elsewhere every other night of our stay. It is pretty much the only “upscale” hotel in the area, which is why I believe the rate is able to be set so high. Overall, it is clean, safe, and set on beautiful grounds but simply did not meet 4star/$650+ (USD) a night service/amenity expectations.

25/01/2026: This was my second visit to this restaurant, which needs no introduction. Everything was impeccable, from the initial welcome to the final pampering. I can add that I appreciated the food even more, and we were particularly impressed by two dishes: the creamed Caprafico Farro with uncinato truffle and the exceptional Turnips, beans, and pink shrimp. Great professionalism combined with an elegant and warm welcome made you feel right at home.
11/01/2026: Congratulations to the exceptional staff and cuisine. The menu is unique and sublime thanks to the great professionalism of Arcangelo and Angela, whose pastry making is a dream, and Peppino and Pascal, wonderful and accommodating people, who serve in the dining room. A restaurant worthy of its Michelin star and the JRE association. Well done, keep it up! See you on the next menu.

18/01/2026: I visited Ruris and would like to personally thank Chef Natale Pallone for the wonderful welcome and attentive service from start to finish. The cuisine is a true statement of identity: an extraordinary reinterpretation of traditional dishes, crafted with skill, balance, and respect for tradition, without ever being forced. A delicate touch is clearly evident in the combinations, naturally showcasing each ingredient. The products used are genuine and of truly superior quality, and this makes all the difference in every course. The setting is also worthy: a beautiful and refined location, a clean restaurant, meticulously maintained, and even the bathrooms are impeccable. Everything reflects the owner's love and care in his hospitality: there's a sense of order, attention, and respect for guests that is by no means a given these days. The details also deserve special mention: the orange marmalade, simply exquisite, is one of those flavors that lingers in your memory and speaks of artisanal care and excellent ingredients. A restaurant that's absolutely worth a visit: authentic cuisine, refined technique, and a genuine welcome. I'll gladly return.
