25/06/2025: This is the best pasta I've had in Italy. The fried squid is also a better version of Korean Ojjang and is delicious.
The staff is super friendly.
I was translating the menu and they said in Korean that it was lobster pasta fried squid! I came here to eat that lol
After the meal, they served me lemon juice and it was really strong! ㅠㅠ
They even put lobster tongs on it and I felt like I was being taken care of the whole time I was eating.
24/06/2025: We went there hoping to get some langoustine pasta. We had mussels in tomato sauce, langoustine pasta and vegetable salad, and everything was delicious and my wife and I were very satisfied! The waiter Marco, who spoke a little Japanese, was also kind and friendly, and it was the best meal we had since coming to Italy.

30/06/2025: A local person recommended this to me. The squid ink pasta was better than any I had in Italy! The noodles were authentic. The meatballs that the person next to me recommended were also delicious. I want to go again.

14/06/2025: Muy agradable el sitio. Buena pasta, especialmente las pizzas, al estilo napolitano. Son muy grandes, con lo que fuimos incapaces de tomarnos las 4 que pedimos, una para cada uno. Amables y en un entorno bonito, una poco alejado de lo más turístico.

15/06/2025: Excellent non-touristy restaurant with great food, drinks and best of all a friendly and helpful staff.
We really enjoyed our lunch here, which was very good value for money and I would highly recommend this restaurant for those who want to enjoy authentic Venezian cuisine at very reasonable prices. I shall definitely return to this restaurant when I am next in Venice. Grazzie mille to all the staff!

We ordered Makhni Daal (10/10!), Chicken Karahi, Lamb Curry, Lamb Biryani, Grilled Mix Platter, and Papri Chaat — everything was fresh and full of flavor. The Butter Naan and Roti were the perfect complements to the meal.
Thanks again for giving us an amazing time — we truly enjoyed it!

20/05/2025: A great spot away from the crowds. Had a nice meal with vino. Not the cheapest but a menu that varied enough instead of the same old pizza and pasta. Anthony looked after us and was great to talk to.

02/06/2025: Delusione totale in una delle trattorie più decantate di Venezia
Su consiglio di un residente, ho cenato alla Trattoria della Madonna, presentata come una delle più antiche e rinomate della città. Purtroppo l’esperienza è stata decisamente negativa.
Il pesce servito era chiaramente surgelato e preparato in anticipo, senza alcuna cura. La granseola, indicata come piatto forte, è arrivata nel carapace palesemente riutilizzato, con una poltiglia poco invitante e dal sapore discutibile (22 € a persona). L’antipasto della casa (oltre 30 € a testa) consisteva in pochi assaggi di mare: gamberetti precotti, canocchie e lumache riscaldate, più un moscardino non pulito e amarissimo.
Il fritto misto era gommoso, il guazzetto di seppie pesante e accompagnato da una polenta palesemente industriale. Con vino della casa in caraffa e tre sorbetti, il conto è arrivato a 330 € in quattro.
Esperienza deludente sotto ogni aspetto. Peccato: Venezia merita ben altro. Sconsigliato.

Given this is so close to Rialto I wouldn’t expect the quality to be so good or the prices so reasonable. That’s why we return each trip - usually multiple times.
A pasta for €16-€20. A main for €19-€22 (including options for a piece of fish or a fish by weight which sometimes catches people out. Desserts at €6 and wine under €20 a bottle.
Yes service is now on the bill. It’s clearly stated but until a few years ago it wasn’t. We’ve never been pressured to pay an additional service charge, though we sometimes do. Our choice.
