19/04/2024: Excellent gelato with friendly staff. We tried the pistachio and a chocolate+coffee flavour (called Moro di Venezia) and both were really good. The chocolate+coffee tasted slightly salted in the coffee, which made it surprisingly well-balanced in terms of degree of sweetness.

19/04/2024: A truly unique and extraordinary ice cream! In addition to the vast selection of classic flavours, there are also particular flavours, which will surprise you as soon as you approach the counter. The prices may be a little high, but I can assure you that it is worth it. The quality and originality of the flavors are simply unparalleled. I am sure that if I were to return to Venice, I would definitely stop here to enjoy this delicious one-of-a-kind ice cream once again.

06/04/2024: Great food, phenomenal pizza. Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice environment. We went midweek, too many people at the weekend. The only flaw: little parking. I highly recommend

10/04/2024: This spot is a must if you are Venice! We have been 2 x’s now. Excellent service, amazing vegetation options beyond belief! Service amazing and the atmosphere is perfect. We have eaten outside and inside, you are right on a small canal. We will be back again before we leave!

31/03/2024: Had an amazing meal here with my husband and 2 friends. We shared various dishes from each course, and they were all extremely delicious. A lovely, comfortable atmosphere and reasonable prices for the quality. Would definitely recommend.

06/04/2024: A beautiful address in Venice at a reasonable price. Reservation required, it’s full which bodes well. Very good meal, no forcing on consumption. Attentive and smiling service. In short, a good time. We took the pasta specialties only downside not having time to drink the aperitif served too quickly but the Spritz goes with everything and we had time to savor our wine afterwards.

05/04/2024: Wonderful little restaurant with very nice waiters. The food came quickly and was exceptionally tasty. I can only recommend the visit!

06/04/2024: Muro San Stae is a very nice surprise! Locals and tourists flock there and it is better to have reserved your table in advance. The staff are helpful but don't joke about delays… We are welcomed with the usual breadsticks and small grilled vegetables. On the plate side, it’s well presented and above all an explosion of flavors in the mouth! ✨ Special mention for the spaghetti with scallops and pistachio pesto. The plate is hearty, generous in scallops and the pistachio pesto is crunchy and tasty. 25€ for a starter and a glass of prosecco.

31/03/2024: Let me start by saying that my review is a bit particular because I DO NOT eat fish... They shouldn't even have let me in in a restaurant like this. However, with appropriate notice, the owners worked hard to please me as well as the other five people at my table. Excellent result, in particular the gorgonzola pasta, the best I've ever eaten. Instead, I report the opinion of the other diners who eat the fish and how... Absolutely satisfied, I would say. Compliments.

06/04/2024: We tried both cicchetti and dishes from the fish menu and it was all very good and fresh. The prices are high compared to other bars in the area but the quality of the fish is worth it!

03/04/2024: Excellent maître d' - very funny too. We were told the next table was 45 minutes later and we were happy to accept whilst we wandered the island. Lovely taste of Italy, literally and metaphorically. We were two adults and a 12 year old. Excellent value.

31/03/2024: A must-see place if you come to Burano. A very pleasant little course, fabulous cuisine (best vongole pasta I have ever eaten). We didn't have a reservation, we made friends with the chef who put us in front of everyone and we were able to get a place. I recommend 100%, thank you again for this unforgettable moment.

07/04/2024: Really horrible service. I don't often write reviews but today's experience was particularly unpleasant. I knew the restaurant, going there often with my company in recent years. Unfortunately this evening I was able to discover that the restaurant does not accept slightly more "modest" dinners. Inviting a friend, we wanted to have a small dinner before heading to our destination, but since they understood that we were not there for a big banquet, we were treated like absolutely unwanted guests. Our decision not to drink alcohol was taken as an offense by the waiter Stefano and from that moment on they practically threw our plates on the table, took away everything the second we finished eating and brought us the receipt to the table without us knowing it. 'we had requested. They basically wanted us to eat and leave as quickly as possible. We have never felt so uncomfortable as today in Vecia Cavana and we will never return. I will stop recommending Vecia Cavana to my customers. It's a shame, but if you don't seem ready to spend a large sum you will be treated very badly!
