16/09/2025: We went to the Spaghetti House in Caorle once during our holiday. We normally know all the good restaurants and pizzerias in the area as we have holidayed in Caorle several times. But we have never been here before and so we decided to have dinner there. Spaghetti Ragu (Bolognese) was totally dry, hardly any sauce and almost no minced meat to be seen, not to mention the taste. The mixed salad was full of stalks and vinegar/oil as well as salt and pepper only in sachets (disposable packaging). It took ages to get the bill; instead we were ignored and the money was constantly being asked for or new orders were taken. When we paid, our jaws dropped open because this loveless meal, which was probably not even cooked by the staff, cost more than elsewhere. Tip: if you are really hungry and want to eat well, you can go to Reeps opposite. They have large meat dishes which seem more expensive at first glance, but are cheaper overall with drinks.

14/09/2025: The waitress was sour and rude as can be! The owner apologized first, then laughed it off with the same boooo!! Turn around!!

07/11/2025: I went with my classmates to this pizzeria and both the pizza and the kebab are very good, the staff are very kind, helpful, friendly and joke a lot with the customers, the bathroom was very clean and there was also a very beautiful painting

30/10/2025: A cappuccino is ridiculously expensive 😅 €5.50 if you eat in and €4.50 to go. Don't make the mistake of going in unless you're rolling in money. The coffee is very good, though 😁. But honestly, there are better and cheaper places.

29/05/2025: I'm giving this restaurant a 3 because I felt it was lacking in genuine customer service and quality of food was good but not was you would expect at the price point, the waiter we had seemed to be in a rush or possibly irritated at the fact we were there to begin with he served us but without a smile or a shred of joy to be there and the food was served about 25 minutes later it was okay tasting but not what you would expect from a fine Venice restaurant

26/10/2025: €6.80 for a croissant and a cappuccino pure robbery, while 40 meters across the street €3.90 and again down the street €3.60. I asked them why they replied saying it’s the same every. It’s not and this is coming from a local living here in Venice.

19/07/2025: Una vera delusione per chi ama il crudo come me e sicuramente abituato a portate di ottimo livello . Presentare un piattino con 2 gamberi e 1 scampo con 3 carpaccini di ricciola spada e ombrina al prezzo di 28€ è un vero e proprio furto . Pagare un conto di 75 € a testa per un piatto di spaghetti al nero di seppia e uno spaghetto ai lupini di laguna è assolutamente una presa in giro . Ah dimenticavo per finire 2 palline di sorbetto e una porzione di tiramisù. 150€ spesi veramente male . Sconsiglio vivamente. Cibo: 1/5 | Servizio: 1/5 | Ambiente: 1/5

07/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante un sabato sera con un buon numero di amici, ma l’esperienza è stata tutt’altro che positiva. Appena arrivati, non ci è stato fornito alcun listino prezzi, lasciandoci completamente all’oscuro su cosa potessimo ordinare e sui costi. Il titolare ha deciso in gran parte lui, considerando solo in parte le nostre richieste: avevamo chiesto molto cotto o poco crudo, ma è arrivato metà crudo e metà cotto. Abbiamo potuto scegliere poco perché c’era gran poca scelta nelle sue proposte e cercava di imporre le sue decisioni. Gli antipasti erano semplici e poco saporiti, niente di speciale. Le cappelonghe erano pessime, tanto che nessuno le ha mangiate. L’unico primo che ci ha proposto era uno spaghettino, che nessuno ha preso, e lo stesso è successo con il secondo, una grigliata di pesce. Anche in questo caso avevamo chiesto determinate cose, ma il titolare ha fatto di testa sua. La grigliata era deludente: il branzino insapore e pieno di grasso, mentre la sogliola non aveva gusto. Il conto è stato un altro shock: 110 euro a testa, senza aver ricevuto alcuno scontrino (e, a detta loro, già “scontato”). Per aver mangiato solo antipasti e una grigliata scadente, ci è sembrato un vero e proprio furto. Penso che il titolare sia molto molto furbo, aveva già deciso il prezzo quando siamo arrivati… la professionalità non sa minimamente cosa sia… Esperienza da dimenticare. Non torneremo mai più.

08/11/2025: Terrible experience. We ordered two boiled fish dishes, and after 5 minutes the dishes arrived: frozen fish covered in garlic, inedible... It all seemed frozen and tasteless except for the garlic! After reporting it to the manager and waiters, they only took off 10 percent, so we paid almost 70 euros for two boiled dishes without having eaten anything! An experience truly not to be repeated. …….

24/09/2025: Yesterday, 25 of us went for my son's birthday, with a reservation of course. The food was good. It's a shame they didn't have two bottles of Prosecco at dessert and wanted to give us a bottle we'd had at lunch, rudely telling me they'd run out because there were people at midday. What kind of response would that be? It's not my problem if you're not organized. When it came to the bill, I asked several times, and even got the receipt wrong. Once I had all the money, I was told she'd made a mistake, forgotten about the service charges, about €60 was missing, and that it was my fault for rushing her... At that time, we were the only ones there! The lady who served us was great, and I understand she was confused since she was alone, but unfortunately, I strongly advise against it!

13/10/2025: 1 jack and coke and the smallest glass of wine ever for €23. I thought it was a mistake but when I asked him it was 10 for the jack, 5 for the coke and 8 for the wine. Only time we got conned in Venice. Very reasonable everywhere else on the same street but this guy took the bus it. No prices displayed

05/08/2025: Skipping breakfast, we had a family lunch there and got food poisoning from the food. The service was good but recovering for a day during the holiday is not the best.

01/08/2025: I went to eat then I asked the lady for the health card for cigarettes and she answered no a little annoyed, I tried to ask a colleague and the lady answered me again very angry that no one has the card because they don't smoke... I understand that it's stressful to do the season but there should always be a minimum of respect

29/11/2025: Sandwiches are super delicious! It is served with a cream for dipping that makes elevates the taste from amazing to superb. Service was also great - they have an English speaking bartender who was able to answer questions and point out which of their sandwiches were vegetarian

15/11/2025: It says a spritz costs €3, but it's actually €5. They're not good, and the service is poor and rude. The bathroom is unpleasant. They even tried to rip us off.

05/11/2025: Scam price!!! I was offered snacks and vine for 8 euro, but then I started to pay they sad it was for 1 portion and I get 4 in each glass 24 euro instead of 8 !!!!. Avoid this place.

12/10/2025: So if one could give negative stars, now would be the time. The only tasty thing was the wine. Otherwise, the worst food we've ever eaten. And not cheap either. The bread basket placed on the table for all of us could just as well be the leftovers from all the tables. Because whatever wasn't eaten, whether wrapped or unwrapped, was put back for the next guests and their bread baskets. That was the point where it was all over for us.

On the evening of July 10, 2025, when I first arrived in Venice, I saw this place on the street and thought it looked cheap, so I sat down. They said the price on the menu was for 100 grams, but the plate I was given was 1000 grams, plus a 12% service charge. 11/07/2025: Viajero ciego estafado — € 9 pasta convertida en € 63 Tengo discapacidad visual, y esta fue mi primera visita a una trattoria en Venecia. Desafortunadamente, fui engañado debido a mi incapacidad para ver claramente. El personal recomendó un plato de pasta, diciendo que era de € 9. Lo ordené, confiando en esa información. Pero cuando llegó el momento de pagar, el propietario me dijo que en realidad eran 9 € por 100 gramos, algo que nunca me explicaron en ningún momento. Sin pedir mi consentimiento, cocinaron 700 gramos y luego me gritaron que pagara 63€. Cuando lo dudé, el dueño amenazó con llamar a la policía, lo que me puso extremadamente ansioso y asustado. Les dije que no tenía tarjeta, solo algo de dinero en efectivo. Me presionaron hasta que les di todo el dinero que tenía para salir de allí. Como alguien ciego, confío en explicaciones verbales claras. Pero ninguno fue proporcionado. En Florencia, cuando pedí filete, mostraron claramente el peso y el precio de antemano. Aquí, se aprovecharon de mi vulnerabilidad. Adjunto una foto del plato que sirvieron. Parecía una pasta típica de marisco, no algo que debería costar 63€. Y para ser claros, los 63€ eran solo para la pasta. Las bebidas y otros artículos se cobran por separado. Esto hace que la falta de explicación previa sea aún más indignante. Más tarde, encontré otra reseña que describía exactamente la misma situación: a un cliente le dijeron que era una “pasta de mariscos”, asumió que eran 15 € como los demás y terminó cobrándole 63 € por pasta de langosta. Es evidente que este es un patrón de engaño dirigido a los turistas, especialmente a aquellos que no están familiarizados con las prácticas locales o a personas vulnerables como yo. Ni siquiera me dieron un recibo. Esto no solo fue deshonesto, sino discriminatorio. Evita este lugar. Se benefician de engañar y amenazar a los clientes vulnerables.

05/07/2025: Nous recommandons ce restaurant qui est vraiment bon! J ai mangé du foie à la Vénitienne un délice!!! Les pâtes étaient très bonne aussi et le service excellent. Merci pour ce bon moment.
