01/04/2025: I have to say that I'm not really the type for these types of restaurants.. I prefer classic Italian... that is Grilled meat...dry pasta...and so on etc... After several attempts, part of my family took me to eat at Xiao's... they did it! And I have to say I loved it!! The environment is also very nice We eat well and cleanly. They are very courteous. I highly recommend it. By the way...if this is your first time visiting this type of restaurant... It would be advisable to be accompanied by someone who knows what to order... otherwise you risk leaving unsatisfied. Hello hello everyone!!😋

28/03/2025: Historic pastry shop in Rovigo located near the center and therefore parking is not very close. The place could use some updating but is still well kept. There is a wide choice of pastries and mini pastries as well as cakes and semifreddos. I got a pasta with ricotta and raisins and it was good.

24/02/2025: We arrived at this refuge from the village of Zoppé di Cadore. A beautiful walk of, more or less, 5 km. Very quiet forest road, without effort, a beautiful up and down. The path intersects between woods and open spaces, a small "village of huts" and many deer tracks in the snow. Truly relaxing. The refuge is small and for those who want to taste the delicious dishes of mother and daughter, it is better to book in advance. All very good, the canederli are exquisite, as is the melted cheese. But in addition to the good food, friendliness and cordiality are a very welcome "side dish".

19/01/2025: Eight of us arrived following a reservation for the second shift at 1.30 pm and, after a wait due to those who were late in leaving the table occupied for the first shift at 12, we comfortably took a seat. The refuge is run by a mother and daughter who tell us about the supply difficulties due to the nervous season, but who still manage to satisfy all the orders. The goulash with dumplings and the venison with polenta were excellent, but, in general, all the dishes were appreciated and the prices are fair (I attach the menu). The daughter is certainly the most sociable and, after a bit of conversation, makes the guests feel at home. Compliments are due for the dedication of these women and for the enhancement of a refuge that still shows the genuineness of its true nature and that is not confused with the many refuges that have now become too commercial. We did not use rooms, so the 5 stars refer to the genuineness of the place.

17/03/2025: **** Staff OK --- Pizza KO ***** One evening for dinner for 2 people we chose to eat pizza. The place is tidy, tastefully furnished, functional, but the temperature is a little low. Objectively I felt the handcuffing in several. The staff were always friendly and helpful, looking after us without ever insisting or being intrusive. Also very courteous in offering a bitter at the end of the meal. Unfortunately, however, the pizza was neither tasty nor light, unfortunately I cannot say that it was a pleasure to eat it. The ham was really too thin and didn't have an excellent taste, and the next day I still had to manage to "forget" it. I and the person who was with me had the same feeling of permanent heavyness until the morning. Perhaps the wrong leveling or less than excellent raw materials. But that's how it was! Sin! If they change pizza balls I'll be back! :-)

10/04/2025: In the heart of a super quiet square, a typical local bar. They treated us very well. Good coffee and good croaisants. Relaxed atmosphere full of neighbors, perfect to unwind.

20/01/2025: Il locale offre un’ottima selezione di tramezzini, sia tradizionali che più particolari, e cicchetti di buona qualità ideali per accompagnare un Spritz durante un aperitivo. L’atmosfera è accogliente, con la possibilità di sedersi all’aperto.

26/03/2025: Festa di laurea di mio figlio, prezzo concordato 18€ a persona per tramezzini, pizzette sfoglia, spritz e prosecco (preciso: una caraffa di spritz ogni 7 persone, e una bottiglia di prosecco ogni 7 persone). Speravo che, per questo prezzo, potessero portare un quantitativo sufficiente di cibo... per 23 persone hanno portato 5-6 piatti di tutto ciò, alché ci siamo chiesti se fosse solo un inizio... e invece è finita lì! Per non fare brutta figura con gli invitati, abbiamo dovuto aggiungere dell'altro, naturalmente a sovraprezzo. Da non ripetersi!

24/05/2024: I take a moment to thank the fantastic girls who have accompanied me over the years in Venice. Fujiyama had become a safe place to find a bit of home in this new city: a constant warmth both in the dishes (a very refined selection of teas and phenomenal sweets) and in the care of customers. I received the news of the closure with extreme sadness, but I wish them all the best for the future. We will miss you very much.

12/04/2025: Went for an outing with friends, type of place that does not meet my tastes, also an argument between a friend and a waitress a bit too "direct" and "outspoken" ruined the evening in part ... be careful with the all you can eat, or perhaps you must eat or pay, any leftover hamburger can cost a lot ... the idea that behind the speed with which the hamburgers are brought, almost to gorge you, and the desire to make you pay for the leftovers crossed my mind, considering that it was also the cause of the argument ...

12/04/2025: Like every Saturday I take a macchiatone at the counter (actually this time two) and like last time the price list next to the cash register says €1.50 each. The barmaid writes out a receipt for €3.60 and when I ask for an explanation she calmly says: "they must have changed the prices". In my opinion, both the answer and the 20% price increase are beyond comment.

23/08/2024: Excellent sandwich, piadina or kebab dish. After 10pm you can usually find the piadina (finished sandwich). Fast service. Better for takeaway, few seats in front of the restaurant. It is located in a pedestrian area
