18/01/2026: Today at lunch, a terrible experience! We ordered, and while I was waiting, I noticed they were bringing appetizers to the neighboring tables, but nothing for us. Then the dish I ordered arrived with a tiny piece of bread, like in wartime. It was ridiculous, with no oil cruet on the table, everything was served with an eyedropper... they pour you wine by the undersized glass. I mentioned it to the waiter, and he apologized, while the owner dismissed the incident as rude and unprofessional. Finally, the gentleman at the cash register—I think he's the owner, too—didn't even say hello. Prices were out of line!

23/02/2026: There aren't many words... I can only say that I ate the best fried calamari of my life. The fish was so tender and the oil so clean it didn't even taste like fried food. And the owner Lorenzo is a wonderful person! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! TOP!!!

18/10/2025: A very cute and quaint place. I may have arrived a little early for the kitchen to open for dinner... I was alone... but they immediately took care of me... I ate dumplings and a delicious venison main course, tender and perfectly cooked, with a side of baked potatoes. Everything was delicious and well-prepared... the very kind and friendly staff made me feel at ease even though I was the only one in the dining room...

25/01/2026: I ate the pizza and I have to say it was delicious, thin and cooked just right, not like many pizzerias that burn it to get it done quickly.

02/03/2026: I stopped for a drink, nothing special. I ordered 3 Cokes and 2 large toasts. They brought me 3 Cokes in 200cl bottles (I couldn't even wet my throat) and 2 large toasts. Nothing strange so far. The surprise was at the cashier. I asked for the bill and was presented with a receipt for 28.50 euros... 28.50 for 2 toasts and 3 200cl Cokes!!!!!!,... as if I were in Piazza San Marco in Venice, but I was outside the Affi motorway toll booth, which had a picture-postcard view of the gas station. It's not my habit to write reviews, but this time I was sick of it. To make a long story short, paying 3.60 for a 200cl Coke that should cost no more than 60 cents, and 8.50 for a toast with a slice of ham and a slice of fontina cheese, which should also cost about 2 euros. I'll leave it to I appreciate any comments you may have. I understand they need to make money and cover their running costs, but bleeding them dry like this is definitely NOT the case!! It was and will certainly be the first and last time I've ever set foot in this place. Oh, I forgot, there weren't even price lists on the tables.

13/01/2026: Magical place in Borghetto, we had a table outside facing the river. Service was friendly, best tortellini in Italy(I am 🇮🇹), if you are not sure what to order the degustazione menù is the best choice

07/11/2025: A run-down, dilapidated building... its former charm was barely perceptible. Our room was in the attic. No view whatsoever... we could only see through the skylights while standing on a chair... terrible! The bathroom was ancient. No elevator. Narrow staircase. The sofas in the anteroom were completely stained. All in all... never again... unless it's completely renovated!

05/11/2025: A lovely hotel with a period facade and a large terrace, undoubtedly pleasant when the weather is nice. A pretty room with a balcony, and a good, varied breakfast. The only downside: the soundproofing. Having just received some tragic news that forced us to cut our stay short, the young man we dealt with (the manager?) was incredibly helpful, responsive, and kind—something we will remember for a long time. Thank you again to him. We hope to return soon!

10/02/2026: A truly positive experience! They greeted me with kindness and professionalism, and they even granted my request to customize the dessert for an anniversary. The pistachio cake was amazing!!! I'll definitely be back!

27/12/2025: I think it's okay for drinks and cured meats, but not for dinner. We had two first courses with subpar ravioli and overcooked rice, and pasta with stracotto that tasted like it had been recooked twice and was also bad for me. Personally, I won't be going back.

26/02/2026: As always, great food and service, shame there was a guy who managed to utter 40 curses in 10 minutes, and even though I'm practically an atheist, I couldn't stand it.

18/02/2026: Cute place, delicious food, truly excellent. We ate slowly to fully enjoy it... but the noise in the place was something I'd never seen 😨. A table of three women who weren't talking, they were actually making a podcast for the whole country... and none of the staff bothered to politely ask to adjust the volume (they were on the wall directly opposite us and I could clearly hear them), and a family table with a little girl, who wasn't the problem per se, but the fact that her parents allowed her to play games with music at a particularly high volume in the place. Otherwise, everything was fine and the staff was very friendly. I'll probably go back... hoping not to encounter all this noise again. (My partner and I can't hear each other when we're sitting across from each other.)

17/02/2026: Perfect spot for a lovely dinner with your partner or family. The menu is very extensive. We tried a fantastic burger and a superb pasta carbonara. Highly recommended.
