29/10/2025: I've had breakfast at this café twice and I have to say I had a great time. I had one of the best cream brioches I've had in years. The staff is really friendly and serves you quickly. I absolutely recommend it. The only downside might be finding parking, but there are parking lots available across the street.

25/11/2025: The ambiance is lovely. The small restaurant is very cozy. We had the small mixed platter with salami, ham, mortadella, and cheese as a starter. Very tasty. The wines were also of good quality. However, the lasagna Bolognese was a complete disappointment. It was lukewarm and very blandly seasoned, which was a shame. Therefore, I can only give it 3 stars. Nevertheless, it's a nice place.

20/10/2025: My boyfriend and I went for lunch a month ago to celebrate our anniversary... we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place! Our table was in the back, overlooking the water, right in the sun.
It was a gorgeous day and an excellent lunch, combined with the kindness of the waitresses who served us!
The place was recommended to us by his parents, who have been there before. We had two starters, dessert, and a bottle of rosé—all delicious!
08/10/2025: The two of us, including our dog, got the best spot between the rushing waters of the river. Two place settings were immediately brought for an appetizer—three polenta variations—which we wanted to share. The main courses were—of course—tortellini (a choice of four was recommended) and shark in a green sauce. Everything was attractively presented and flavorful. Matching wines were recommended. The dessert was also impressive, the whole thing a harmonious symphony. The service was very attentive, and language barriers were discreetly and sensitively addressed. We felt very valued as guests. Unreservedly recommended.

12/09/2025: Excellent thin Neapolitan style pizzas and great calzones at this tiny little joint run by Bangladeshis. Friendly staff, cheap prices, and no frills. Not much space to sit down and eat but you can easily get takeaway and eat in one of the plazas or canalside areas. Two slices and a coke was enough for my dinner one day.

26/10/2025: Everything was excellent: the location, the food, the service. We ate very well, the atmosphere modern, warm, quiet, and clean. The venison steak was very tasty and plentiful, the gnocchi alla Carmen was delicious and rich. The fritters with chocolate, zabaglione, and cream were excellent. They also stock a wide selection of beers. The ingredients are of the highest quality. Recommended.
The gnocchi alla Carmen are top-notch! Must try.

25/11/2025: Very cute place, it makes you feel like you're really in Sicily. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The lady who served us was super kind and incredibly sweet. They have so many different foods. Everything is fried to order. I had two arancini, crunchy and delicious... full of toppings. I'll definitely be back, because I had a great time. Thank you 🫶🏻

The average price range is €2.50 to €3.00, and for a place in the north, it's more than reasonable.
The arancini are fried on the spot, not microwaved like other vendors!
Everything is handmade!
The owner is truly friendly and kind.
I highly recommend it!

16/07/2025: Aperitif with friends. I knew this as a bar, but not for an evening aperitif, but it was recommended by friends. Great girls! The spritz and appetizers included were excellent. The pinsa with vegetables and salami, which we shared, was excellent. Very good value. Excellent service. Truly talented! The passion for the business you run is evident! You personally deserve 5 stars.

19/10/2025: Had a great experience yesterday at Surlí! The pizza was really good and easy to digest. The only issue I'd like to point out for people who are sensitive to certain types of yeast is the possibility, as happened to me, that the pizza dough can cause flatulence and cramps.
30/09/2025: Really good pizza, with refined ingredients and interesting combinations. The location and the floor lamp near the bathroom are a plus.

29/11/2025: In Verona, on Saturday evening, in Corso Porta Nuova, so in the city center, there's no such thing as not having a glass of red wine... I can understand not having tomato juice for a Bloody Mary. We're just not there.
