23/08/2025: A good restaurant 🍽 that allows you to enjoy the flavors of Eritrean cuisine 🇪🇷, located just outside the city center. The restaurant is located on Via Sorio and has virtually no parking 🅿️, which could make it a bit inconvenient for those who have to go there by car 🚘. The staff is extremely courteous (even over the phone 📞 when booking), with the owner 🧓🏾 proving very helpful in patiently explaining the characteristics of the dishes. We opted for the friendship plate 🤝, which seems to be the highlight of the menu 📋; it is a single dish composed of different types of stew (from buffalo to ostrich to antelope, to name a few), accompanied by a legume puree and typical Eritrean bread 🍞 🇪🇷. As for this bread, characterized by a certain sponginess (no offense to Eritrean cuisine enthusiasts), I must say it's certainly an unusual and very distinctive product, although I didn't particularly enjoy it, primarily because of its texture. In fact, once it soaks up the stew sauce (it's served as a base for the meat itself), the bread tends to fall apart excessively, becoming impractical to eat. Perhaps it would have been better served separately, so as to keep it drier and more whole (but I also realize that doing so would probably have lost one of the dish's distinctive features). The meat was very good 😋, well-cooked and spiced. Prices were perhaps slightly above average, but justified by the exclusivity of the dishes. Overall, the rating is certainly positive 👍. Reservations are highly recommended 📞. A different kind of culinary experience, one I highly recommend. 09/07/2025: It was our first time at an Eritrean restaurant and we chose this little place, which truly enchanted us. We were pleasantly surprised by the style of the place, which was consistent with the culture and tradition, and by the delicious dishes that, though limited, respected customs. So much so, that no desserts were served, as they are non-existent in Eritrean culture due to extreme poverty. The owner is a kind, generous, and calm person who amazes you with his warm welcome and never makes you feel uncomfortable; in fact, he even explains how to eat with your hands! We will be back and recommend it to everyone! P.S. The complimentary final tea was delicious and helped us digest. A memorable evening.

28/09/2025: Truly amazing food, a menu with just a few courses but very carefully crafted and refined dishes. The combinations of flowers, plants, and food are excellently crafted to enhance all the flavors and aromas of the dishes. They also pay attention to the various needs of their guests, offering menus for those with allergies or special needs. The owner is a person who transmits her love for her work, for the place, and for her animals. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the experience you gave us with your dishes.

03/06/2025: Frulalà fue la parada refrescante perfecta durante nuestro tiempo en Venecia. Todo sobre él era brillante, divertido y lleno de sabor. Los fruteros estaban bellamente cubiertos con mango fresco, piña, fresas y un generoso remolino de crema batida del que nuestros hijos no podían cansarse. El personal fue amable y rápido, y la presentación fue de primera categoría. La exhibición colorida de la fruta era llamativa y hacía fácil elegir exactamente lo que queríamos. Sentarse en el mostrador y ver cómo todo se unía fue parte de la experiencia. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar si estás deambulando por las calles y deseando algo fresco y delicioso. Es un gran descanso del helado y un éxito con toda la familia.

15/07/2025: We've been there more than a couple of times and always had good food. The service is fast. On certain days, it's best to book a table, but we didn't, but they found a table for two right away. Recommended.

09/07/2025: We spontaneously landed here today with our camper van. The lady up front was super nice and explained everything right away (in German). Of course, I read the reviews beforehand...about the showers and toilets: everything is really super clean, and there are regular ones 🚽 as well as ones for squatting, whichever you prefer :) 50 cents for a shower was more than enough for me, and the railing is great, so I'm not standing in other people's dirt :) And, guys, who doesn't wear flip-flops? Sinks inside and outside! The view is incredible, and everything here is highly recommended. €42 for two people and electricity is totally fine 👌 There's even a small chest outside for everyone. So far, we're really happy 😀

16/08/2025: A great time with family from the Var and the North. We loved the welcome and the typical atmosphere of the region. There were 6 of us and we had an aperitif, wine, main course, etc. for 100 euros in total with a digestif offered by the owner who is very kind. I recommend the Classic focaccia, the seafood pasta (13 euros), the excellent Bolognese pasta, the beef tagliata to die for, it was so good. The pizza between 3 and 8 euros, pure happiness. I advise the French to discover this place because it is a unique moment with fresh products and a great team. As soon as we return to Treviso, a stop will be obligatory for a meal. 12/10/2025: After a long time, the change of management has unfortunately erased all the tradition that characterized this place. The quality of the food today is compromised by inconsistent Eastern influences and preparations that seem to have come straight from the refrigerator. The staff appears to lack knowledge, history, and culinary culture. A place that, sadly, no longer represents our local tradition: the art of cooking is completely lacking.
