26/04/2026: I went to this place for a quick lunch. Excellent local cuisine, with generous and delicious dishes. I'm celiac, but they have gluten-free options on the entire menu. Their homemade gluten-free bread is also delicious.

20/04/2026: Best takeout pizzeria in the area. Tasty and light pizza, well-topped with quality ingredients. Quick service and friendly staff. There's a bit of a wait on weekends, but it's worth it. Very varied menu, including seasonal options. I also highly recommend the fried fish! Really well done!

17/05/2026: We stopped for lunch and chose a pizzeria. Well, a bad choice. Our five pizzas were all the same shape (as if the dough was already made), the toppings didn't stick to the dough, and when it quickly cooled, it became hard. We'll skip the bathroom, only one, and a rope to flush the toilet.

04/11/2025: I went for lunch on October 29th. As a Sicilian, I can say it was superb. The arancini were fabulous, perfectly cooked. The risotto was perfect with saffron. The cooked calzone and mozzarella were super delicious. Not to mention the Sicilian cannoli. In short, for those who love Sicilian rotisserie, this is the place to be! I recommend it 😃

31/03/2026: It's not a kebab shop! Fresh, hand-prepared ingredients, spiced and marinated meats with fantastic sauces, and some of the best falafel in Padua. Everything is cooked to order. The staff are incredibly helpful and, if you ask, they'll have no problem guiding you through the various menu options. I've been eating at Ali's for over ten years and have never had a complaint. Fantastic!!

06/01/2026: We visited this restaurant on New Year's Eve. It's important to note: it's not our first time here; we have a house nearby, and we've always had a great time. The food is good, the atmosphere is refined and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly. For these very reasons, we chose it to celebrate New Year's Eve. For the occasion, we were offered a smaller menu, with some seafood options (from the mountains?). When asked about the provenance of the fish, the waiter had to go to the kitchen to find out, which was a bit perplexing: it's hard to accept that someone doesn't know where the produce you're serving comes from, especially for dishes like €35 lobster linguine. The final answer was "American"—a rather generic definition, considering how "big" America is. It's also disappointing not to find a single one of their classic dishes (cheese, pastin, or polenta). The prices, decidedly higher than usual, were still acceptable, considering it was a New Year's Eve party. What really left us perplexed, however, was the handling of midnight. At 11:30 PM, noticing that some people were already leaving, we asked if there was a free toast. The response was that "they were considering offering something," a rather odd statement half an hour before midnight. After about ten minutes, we were informed that, to toast, we would have to order and pay. Midnight arrived without any countdown, without a moment of sharing or a small symbolic gesture. Let's start by saying that we know the restaurant's atmosphere well and weren't expecting disco music, but at least a minimum amount of attention to celebrate the arrival of the new year was welcome. The evening ended with a bill of around €80 per person. Frankly, for that kind of money, offering at least a glass of prosecco would have been a much-appreciated gesture, fitting for the occasion. It's a shame, because it's still a restaurant where the food is good, but the New Year's Eve experience definitely fell short of expectations.

10/05/2026: Terrible organization. A waitress tells us to go sit down and they'll come over to take our order... the owner immediately stops us and rudely tells us they don't offer table service. One might overlook this, but when I go to get the receipt, I specifically ask for two croissants and they only charge me one. I have to stand in line all over again to pay for two euros for a croissant, strictly in cash. I'll never go back. Especially when I notice that only a few people get table service. A disappointment.

01/05/2026: The atmosphere is nice and clean, nothing to complain about. The food is acceptable, nothing memorable. The problem lies in the service and the price. The fries... I understand you can make a mistake...inedible, so they were taken back and charged for. The prices are absurd, and I'm telling you this as someone who's been dining out for thirty years. There are better options, both in terms of service and food, at prices 30% lower. If you're coming back from the beach, keep going; there are better options.
