The food was delicious and we were very well received by Francesco, who served us with great politeness and care! My highlights were the pizza diavola and the fettuccine al pesto. When I return to Rome, I will certainly pay another visit!

A lovely place with delicious food. I tried the Abbacchio alla Romana and it was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavour. The profiteroles were fantastic as well, light, fresh, and absolutely worth saving room for. Great service and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

A truly Roman restaurant! We ordered a pizza as an appetizer and it was delicious. Then we ordered 3 different pasta dishes to try and we loved them. The carbonara was tasty, the pesto pasta was perfect, and the amatriciana was divine. The bottle of prosecco we ordered perfectly complemented the dishes. In addition to all that, we were very well attended to by the lovely Francesco, who made us feel very comfortable and was extremely friendly and welcoming. It was the best restaurant we visited in Trastevere. I highly recommend a visit and I will be back again soon.

I discovered the agnello e patatine, wonderful! The octopus salad as a starter was excellent! A very warm welcome and excellent cuisine, in short, a superb experience!

14/06/2026: A very warm welcome and friendly atmosphere in this bar. We had a generous mixed platter, which was excellent value for money. The sandwiches served also looked equally good. A great place to eat.
12/06/2026: …during my trek!!…on the “Cammino del Salento” route!!…I stopped here!!…for lunch!!…and for the official passport stamp!!…it's the bar/grocery/tobacconist “da Carlo”!!…a historic place in Salento!!…located in Porto Badisco!!…and it's said to be officially recognized!!…as a Historic Heritage Site of Puglia!!…in a room behind the bar there's a delicatessen counter!!…I'd say well stocked!!…lots of typical cured meats!!…cheeses!!…pickles and so much more!!…so much more!!…I had the puccia with tomato and mozzarella!!…and to drink a nice cold beer!!…then I went to eat outside!!…in fact here there's also a nice little garden!!…with some tables!!…what can I say!!…with kind and helpful staff!!…it was a really pleasant break!!…here “da Carlo”!!…historic bar/grocery/tobacconist!!…in Porto Badisco!!…Salento da live!!…🌭🍺☀️🎉⬆️🇮🇹🎊🌊🌭🍺‼️

18/06/2026: It was absolutely fantastic, excellent service, super professional waitress and delicious pizza 🍕
10/06/2026: Food was excellent. It was a bit quiet when we got here around 8pm on a week day, but it started getting busier. The people that work here are super nice, checking on you constantly. However, the food here was our highlight - we had salad, fries and pizza and everything was great. Highly recommend this place for when you are in the area.
