Not cheap, but worth the money (and if I'd wanted to save money, I would have gotten a sandwich at the bar).

Refined, delicious, gourmet cuisine鈥攂ut be careful, it's not the infamous gourmet cuisine that often involves paltry quantities, quite the opposite. The chef wants you to enjoy his refined art until you're completely satisfied. As for service, anyone expecting waiters to simply wait tables will be in for a pleasant surprise. They'll find young men and women who take care of the guests. Not a single request goes unheard, the utmost attention to detail (perfection lies in the details), the most elegant consideration for each individual diner, and with more than 30 people at the table, that's not a given. Professionalism plays a role, of course, but I believe they have the "extravagance" of being respectable people, kind by nature, not by obligation. Thank you to all the staff at Corte Maria for making a special day a memorable one.

17/02/2026: We visited this restaurant on February 15, 2026, to celebrate Valentine's Day. We immediately noticed, being our first time, the warm welcome and the courtesy of the owners. After seating us, we were offered the Valentine's Day menu, which included various appetizers, a first course (seafood or meat), a second course (ditto), a sorbet, and a piece of Torta della Nonna (grandmother's cake) (I think homemade). The place is welcoming, and the service is impeccable. I will definitely be back. Try it, you won't regret it. Thanks again.

26/03/2026: We dined at this restaurant on March 21, 2026. There were two of us. We were immediately greeted and directed to our table. The service was excellent. The octopus appetizer was excellent, and the pizza was also very good and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back.

Definitely a reference point for American bars in the area.

07/04/2026: We had lunch with friends at this restaurant on Easter Monday 2026. It was clearly a special day with a large number of customers, which is a necessary premise. The table we booked was in the gazebo in the square, not inside the restaurant, but the pleasant weather allowed us to use it.
Let's move on to lunch: the menu was limited to a few appetizers, three first courses, and three second courses.
The appetizers were good, the first courses were just acceptable, and the fried second course could and should have been better for a seafood restaurant (the calamari rings were a bit tough).
On the plus side, the wait staff was friendly. On the downside, we waited 1.5 hours for the appetizer and the first courses, and this was noted.
It was also unfortunate that other tables who arrived after us were served with different attention because they were acquaintances or frequent visitors to the restaurant. Others, however, were offered complimentary coffee or liqueur to compensate for their late orders. We were not offered any of these. This is a concern that has not gone unnoticed.
07/04/2026: I can only say that every time we go, the food is divine, and above all, the service is extremely efficient.

You walk in and immediately feel at home. This family-run restaurant offers a full menu at a great price, but without sacrificing quality, which in my opinion deserves more than five stars: the freshest fish, typical local dishes, excellent service, and friendliness and courtesy.
My heartfelt compliments to the owners.
We will definitely be back.
