11/08/2025: Honestly overrated. The Margherita slice is obviously old and tastes like oil. The doughnuts are hard even when freshly baked. Plus, they leave the dough out in the open and make the crust on top. I'm sorry, but the business has been open a long time, so I don't give them any margin for error.

03/08/2025: I got food poisoning last night. Two sandwiches, one worse than the other. A Caprese sandwich made with cherry tomatoes. IT'S MADE WITH SALAD TOMATOES!!! Second sandwich, a completely raw hamburger. A place that, as far as I'm concerned, has gone downhill.

06/07/2025: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED if I could put half a star I would. a disgusting bar indecent service out of proportion prices and also an ice cream taken at the counter cannot be consumed at the table. never seen anything like it.

29/06/2025: The ice cream is good, but the staff should wear gloves. It's not nice to handle money and cones. Update after 5 years (and Covid): Nothing has changed, in 2024 they still don't use gloves. Unacceptable. New update 2025: Still no gloves.

07/09/2025: Renovated venue and excellent service. Prices are a little high, but reasonable.

31/07/2025: The atmosphere is welcoming, with attention to detail. A special location. The quality-price ratio is more than fair for the level of service and cuisine. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

15/06/2025: Huge disappointment. I chose this pastry shop to order my birthday cake, providing clear instructions on how it should be decorated and asking to avoid changes or additions. When I went to pick it up, the cake was completely different from what I had asked for. Unwanted decorations were added, more expensive, without any warning or consent. The worst thing was the total lack of discussion on the part of the owner: no response, no explanation, no respect for those who buy. This behavior is unserious and unprofessional. I do not recommend this pastry shop to anyone who wants a reliable and transparent service.

15/06/2025: Don't trust them. I agreed with the owner on a cake that they deliberately got wrong. The flowers were supposed to be fake but they were sugar, a high base was agreed but it was low, the writing was supposed to be brown but it was lilac (?). If you don't know how to satisfy the customer's requests, leave room for someone who is more competent than you. In addition to having increased the price from €60 to €80. After this charity I will definitely not go back. Furthermore, the owner was kind enough to disappear when I wanted clarification. You don't work like that, leave room for someone who wants and knows how to do it.

27/05/2025: A place discovered by chance in the historic center of Bari, with many outdoor tables. The menu offers a wide range of dishes. Having opted for the orecchiette with turnip tops, I can only say that they were delicious and cooked with care. Definitely abundant portions and at an absolutely reasonable price (exactly half of what I paid elsewhere and with a lower quality). The bruschetta is also excellent. The staff is kind and courteous. A place definitely recommended for those who want to taste Apulian cuisine with an excellent quality/price ratio!

01/07/2025: EDIT: Editing my review to clarify the owners reaction - the menu is on the blackboard but doesn't have prices! The paper menu was never given to us, instead we were asked to order immediately. The English breakfast was not even a proper breakfast, a few slices of sausage, two small pieces of bacon, SINGLE slice of toast divided into three pieces. No beans, no tomato sauce etc. I have eaten here for 3/4 the price and gotten way better. I don't mind paying 50 or even 100 euros for a meal, but the price must be appropriate for what you get. @Owner: before you respond next time, please take responsibility instead of blaming the customer. 31 euros for 2 very basic breakfasts and cold brews. No menu with prices so no way to know in advance. Won't be coming here again.

09/08/2025: A truly disappointing experience. Okay, the cream was fresh, but the ice cream... awful. I had a chocolate cone with double cream, and as soon as we left the shop, both mine and my companion's literally melted in my hands. I immediately reported the matter to the ice cream maker: in a situation like that, I would have expected the ice cream to be replaced, but instead she simply said that "the inside was well preserved" and, as if it were normal, handed me a small tub, saying, "You put it in with a spoon," leaving me there with ice cream dripping everywhere. Truly unprofessional and completely unconcerned with the customer. To top off the negative experience, the bathroom was out of order (only the sink worked). Honestly, not recommended.

10/02/2025: Pressappochismo, disorganizzazione, pessimo cibo e prezzi ingiustificatamente alti. Primi e secondi sotto la sufficienza, antipasto di piattini miseri e imbarazzanti. Ho dato 1 perché non si può dare di meno e francamente non capisco le recensioni positive che leggo qua. Forse siamo abituati a ingurgitare qualunque cosa e ci stiamo abituando al sempre peggio. Non tocco qui l'argomento "servizio" perché non mi bastano i caratteri!

10/02/2025: Pessima esperienza! Per il giorno del mio compleanno avevo prenotato un tavolo per 4 tramite TheFork perché più volte non hanno risposto al telefono. Il giorno della prenotazione mi arriva questa mail un'ora prima e nonostante tutto ci trovano un tavolo abbastanza arrangiato (al posto dei calici da vino come tutti gli altri avevamo le coppe aperol!!). Il "metre" ci spiega frettolosamente gli antipasti senza neanche farci capire e ci chiede cosa vogliamo mangiare e bere in maniera molto infastidita, a malapena dandoci il tempo di rispondere. Ci ha anche detto che un primo era finito per poi servirlo davanti ai nostri occhi a tavoli che avevano ordinato molto dopo di noi. Insomma, un grande maleducato. Alcune portate degli antipasti sono state completamente saltate e dopo sollecito sono arrivate più di una volta portate da cameriere diverse, come se non avessero comunicato fra loro e la colpa fosse nostra. La qualità del cibo era davvero scarsa. I bagni erano sporchi e senza carta né sapone. Servizio pessimo, organizzazione inesistente e cibo deludente. Se avessi invitato al pranzo del mio compleanno altre persone mi sarei molto vergognata della mia scelta. Non lo consiglio assolutamente!
