30/11/2025: Good product, but the owner doesn't make you feel at ease. Annoyed face, no smile, and a bit of a snooze when handling the food. I don't know what his personal issues are, but this attitude affects the experience, especially for those who don't just want to slurp a kebab but also enjoy a welcoming atmosphere.

05/12/2025: My family and I arrived just after the restaurant opened. At first glance, the atmosphere seemed welcoming, but it didn't take long to realize that was just a facade. I barely had time to sit down when I noticed a sticky, disgusting residue under the table on the sole of my shoe. Considering the place had just opened, I wondered how it was possible to find such a mess. Result: I dragged that mess around with me for the entire evening. From then on, it was a constant disaster. The wait was incredibly long, almost unnerving, between courses, as if the kitchen didn't exist or as if every dish was a surprise for them too. The food, when it finally arrived, was of truly low quality, tasteless, and lacking any attention to detail. Zero attention, zero organization, zero desire to offer a decent experience. An evening to forget. I highly recommend this place.

Always top-notch, constantly evolving without compromising the quality and elegance that have always distinguished it. Top-quality ingredients, exquisite food, and impeccable service. Highly recommended, also for the superb panoramic view.

13/10/2025: The restaurant is very simple, with a simple, affordable menu. Service is basic. Please note that they don't offer tableside pizzas, but takeaway is available.

04/05/2025: Un disastro totale:unica nota positiva la gentilezza delle cameriere. Per mettere in fila il disastro cominciamo con la richiesta fatta su thefork di essere sistemati fuori: ovviamente non garantita. Poi abbiamo ordinato dei primi tutti diversi e dopo mezz'ora la povera cameriere è stata costretta a chiederci di cambiare l'ordinazione dopo avercela inizialmente presa, e l'abbiamo fatto. Ma il vero disastro è stato la qualità del cibo: risotto salatissimo quasi immangiabile, pasta con le cozze in cui non si sentiva incredibilmente il sapore delle cozze, orecchiette con le cime di rapa che raggiungevano appena il livello di mediocrità. E come ciliegina sulla torta ci sono un prezzo sproporzionato per la qualità del cibo offerto ed un allestimento/arredamento diffusamente dorato del ristorante che definirlo kitch è un eufemismo. Viene il fortissimo sospetto che le buone recensioni su Tripadvisor siano comprate e chiederei al sito di verificare. In conclusione una trappola per turisti assolutamente da evitare!!!!

03/09/2025: I've been coming to Marina di Castagneto for over 20 years and have never written about this place. I've always been a regular because it has excellent products, but if I had to express an opinion, I would have had to mention the manners, and I didn't want to be negative.... Enough now, unfortunately I have to: empty oven, early September, a thousand different pizzas, the first thing I ask is if they have Margherita. They tell me no, I ask if they're making it and they tell me no (in a half-hearted and rude way). I give up and order more pizzas. As I'm about to leave, the Margherita comes out. I ask, since it's available, if we can have those, and the girl replies, "No, I can't exchange them!", instead of apologizing, since I had specifically asked for the Margherita. I'm about to leave and then she says, "Okay, I'll exchange them for you," as if it were a concession.... I take the pizzas and leave, not without calling them both rude, who instead of serving are acting arrogant behind the counter. I leave and they start laughing. I wonder why they don't stay home if they don't want to work. The staff is unpresentable, rude, and incapable of dealing with the public. The bakery is open during certain hours, then maybe one day they don't open and put up a "Closed Today" sign. What a shame! Excellent products, but a complete inability to run a business professionally. Furthermore, I've seen them use degreaser on the baking sheets—in direct contact with food—without rinsing!!! This business should be put in more capable hands.

20/08/2025: Excellent pizza by the slice; the two clerks are quick and friendly. You can also enjoy their delicacies outside. Their focaccias are legendary, filled with excellent ingredients. Their desserts are also fantastic.

06/04/2025: Not bad, elegant, clean. I ate amazing panzerotti at a reasonable price. A great reason to go. I recommend it.

05/03/2025: The pizza was thin, but a little hard and woody, and it was hard to cut.

16/12/2025: The place is truly comfortable and welcoming, but the same can't be said for the staff: my friends and I waited over half an hour for someone to take our order, but no one came to serve us, so we decided to leave. I came alone another time and had the same problem again, and today the waitress asked my friends and me to leave our tables to let other customers sit: crazy! I think the main problem is that there's not enough staff, and those who are there don't seem very friendly. Otherwise, as already mentioned, the atmosphere is very nice, and the breakfast has always been quite good.

09/12/2025: Among the strengths of this now historic Bari venue, I'd like to highlight three: the unique atmosphere, the delicious panzerotti (arguably among the best in Bari), and the friendly staff who greet you every evening... every time I return, it's always a pleasant experience.

18/10/2025: I booked this property because I had a wedding. For health reasons, I had to request a free cancellation through Booking.com, but the property refused. I found the choice of property to be extremely inelegant, considering it was off-season, and especially tactless when explaining my reasons. Furthermore, the responses I received were very arrogant. I will definitely not book again.

31/10/2025: This restaurant/bar is incredibly good... Cool atmosphere, the food is simply amazing, the turnip sandwich is the best sandwich I've ever had!!!! Same goes for the pesto pasta. The sauce has lots of garlic. The orecchiette are very good. Inexpensive and affordable. Spritz is €5. Cappuccino is €2.

21/10/2025: I can't rate the food, we only had drinks. First of all, the Aperol Spritz was good, but we were charged an additional €1 per drink for service! What kind of service, please? There weren't even any nuts, chips, olives, or anything like that with it. Even the orange slice was missing from the Aperol. It didn't say anywhere that a service charge was due. I usually only give positive reviews, but I was so annoyed that I had to give a negative review. The service was unfriendly. When I asked about the restroom, they answered with a counter-question, asking if we were guests. 🫣. We were the only guests at the time. That shouldn't have happened.
