15/10/2025: October 15, 2025, 5:21 PM: Ice cream shop closed when it's supposed to be open. What a disgrace!

20/09/2025: Crazy, I've lost count of the number of times I've gone there in vain in recent years. They're always closed, even on days when, according to their own hours, they're supposed to be open. It's disrespectful to the people who come specifically for this. The latest example was last night—September 19th, 10:30 PM—when it was listed as open according to their hours on Google Maps, it was closed without any sign, so they're not on vacation. What do they lose by updating their online listing?

12/10/2025: The staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the restaurant service is not up to par. The ingredients are of very low quality and the place needs to be redesigned. There isn't even a handle in the bathroom, and the open kitchen would be better if it wasn't.

12/10/2025: I stopped by Pole Pole after reading the Gambero Rosso review. I must say my expectations were fully met. The location is very elegant and meticulously maintained. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch. The pizza is exceptional. It's delicious on the palate and easy to digest. I think the dough is left to rise slowly. The fried pastries and desserts are delicious. The staff is exceptionally kind, and the owner is a distinguished man with an old-fashioned charm. I'll definitely be back on one of my future trips. Additionally, Pole Pole's music selection is pleasantly sophisticated and harmoniously accompanies the dinner, making the experience simply perfect.

11/10/2025: Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The place was overcrowded with tables squeezed into every corner. The food wasn't great. The service (but not due to the overworked waiters) was inefficient, unfriendly, and confusing. The wait times were biblical, to say the least; we waited over an hour and a quarter between courses. Thank you, and goodbye.

29/10/2025: It's a bakery that claims to sell excellent focaccia But it's not worth it.

20/10/2025: I hope I was just unlucky but worst focaccia I've ever eaten! - and I'm not kidding! The dough seemed unripe, burnt, rubbery, tasted like nothing! - I ate what I could only because I was hungry - then threw it all away! Never again!!!! Price 5 euros which was worth nothing!

15/07/2025: Esperienza pessima. Aperitivo mediocre, ma il vero problema è stata la totale maleducazione della signora alla cassa: arrogante e aggressiva senza motivo. Avevamo già calcolato con precisione quanto ognuno doveva pagare, visto che alcune persone avevano preso solo da bere, ma ci ha accusate di voler fare le furbe e ci ha trattato come se stessimo rubando. Un atteggiamento inaccettabile e imbarazzante: sconsiglio vivamente questo posto, per noi è stato l’ultima volta.

16/06/2025: Frühstück taugt nichts, aber die Pastries sind Weltklasse. Liegt am Rand der sog. Innenstadt, direkt am Theatro Petruzelli gelegen. Ruhige Außenbestuhlung.

09/10/2025: Tourist prices… It's not possible to order a small ice cream at the table. A cappuccino costs €1.90, but there's a €1 service charge per person. So, in the end, you end up paying €2.90. The service isn't particularly friendly either.
