06/05/2026: I picked up some pizzas but there was a €3.50 increase from the list price at the pizzeria to the bill at the register and this is not good.

24/06/2026: Everything is as good as ever, the sandwiches are always fresh and delicious to eat, the same goes for the croissants, you don't have to wait long.

18/06/2026: Ordered Wednesday evening, so not even Saturday in the end and they brought me 2 piadinas with 1 sauce missing, both cans of drinks missing and I didn't have enough change, frankly the restaurant, the service and the food are excellent only on the croissant side

08/09/2025: This gelateria never disappoints me! They offer so many flavors, some classic and some more unusual, all very good. I personally love the 70% dark chocolate, peanut, and caramel. A nice touch is adding whipped cream on top, which makes the gelato even more delicious. The gelateria is located right in front of a spacious square, with plenty of benches where you can sit comfortably and enjoy your gelato in peace. The only small flaw is that, when it's crowded, the line moves a little slowly compared to other gelaterias. Despite this, it's always worth the wait, because the quality of the gelato makes up for it!

09/06/2026: I've been here a few times and always love coming back. The atmosphere is lovely, and the menu is rich and tasty. You can choose from multi-grain doughs and even pizza without mozzarella, which is useful for those who prefer to avoid it. It's very tasty. The staff is very friendly, as is the management, who takes great care in ensuring the service and enjoyment of the meals.

19/05/2026: I went to Castello with my family and friends three times while we were in Gioia. Every time we were well received, with the waitress patiently allowing us to wait while we chose our food. The pizzas were wonderful, quick, and very well made. Dinner was also great the next day. Nothing to complain about. A great addition to the city of Gioia del Colle. I recommend a visit to anyone who has the opportunity!

14/06/2026: Food is very good. I guess need to dress up properly before you get green flag to get in. Amazing presentation. And service is beyond. Parking on site, free, which is very helpful around Bari.

11/06/2026: It's now become our regular stop on the trip from Florence to Gallipoli. We had a spectacular mixed raw fish dish with delicious scampi and red shrimp tartare. The first courses and desserts were delicious, not to mention the bread.

29/08/2025: 9:00 PM We stopped for a quick bite to eat, asking if we could sit down, and there were free tables on a Saturday night. There were four of us, so we sat down and asked what the quickest thing to grab was because we had a commitment by 10:00 PM at the latest! They said fried panzerotti, and we said let's make them, emphasizing the importance of the hour... After 30 minutes, we asked a very young and inexperienced waitress how they were doing, but she never got an answer. After 10 minutes, we asked again without getting an answer. I approached the kitchen to apply pressure and at least get some answers... at 9:45 PM, the answer came back: "They're cooking." At 10:00 PM, given the lack of seriousness, we decided to pay for what we had ordered, that is, to have and leave.... Lo and behold, when it was time to pay, our much-desired panzerotti came out! Too late!!!! PS: if you have seats, you cannot give priority to takeaway!!!!

28/12/2025: They always have air conditioning issues (presumably due to the kitchen exhaust fan)... Reservations are recommended well in advance, as their products are very good and sell out quickly. I recommend dining in, however, as the pizza smell lingers on your clothes and hair.

05/05/2026: Nice gelato but not very generous for the price. It was the smallest we have had in southern Italy !!! Yes many others have said they were artisan and best ingredients too!

30/11/2025: Good product, but the owner doesn't make you feel at ease. Annoyed face, no smile, and a bit of a snooze when handling the food. I don't know what his personal issues are, but this attitude affects the experience, especially for those who don't just want to slurp a kebab but also enjoy a welcoming atmosphere.

30/05/2026: What can I say? My happy place. The owners are wonderful, very kind, very knowledgeable, and the staff is efficient and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is comfortable, and despite being always busy, they always find a way to make you feel at ease. The food is excellent, and the drinks are top-notch. Highly recommended.

25/06/2026: The pizza is good, thin, and well-cooked. The recently renovated space is well-maintained, but the acoustics are terrible. The echo makes any conversation impossible. But the real downside is the service. Rushed and rushed, always breathing down your neck, it doesn't make you feel comfortable. I fully understand the need to move tables, but we ate pizza, fruit, and dessert in exactly 25 minutes, and were handed the (rather hefty) bill before we even asked for it. And this despite the fact that there were several empty tables and no one waiting. They couldn't wait to get rid of us.

25/06/2026: The pizzas are undeniably excellent. But that's the only excellent thing about this place, because unfortunately the owner and his loyal staff are literally obsessed with reusing the table as much as possible. We arrived at 8:00 PM and were already out by 8:45 PM. During those 45 minutes, the owner and his co. stopped by every 3-4 minutes to ask if we wanted to order anything else. They put a sense of pressure and anxiety on us that was completely unwarranted. In 20 milliseconds, we ordered and received fruit and dessert (cassata without asking for the flavor). Of course, the bill arrived together. It was a matter of "pay and leave." A total of 45 minutes had passed, and we weren't being bothersome in any way. If you're in a real hurry, this is the place... like a company cafeteria! Tables were stacked together, almost like a bunk.

29/06/2026: We sat down at a table on a Sunday evening at 9:14 PM, and after a few complaints, the pizzas arrived at 11:20 PM. The prices were above average considering the quality of the product and the attention to detail. Under the old management, I always went there first and last time.

28/06/2026: We arrived with very high expectations, partly due to the restaurant's reputation and positive memories of the past, but we were deeply disappointed. The only aspect we truly (re)appreciated was the panoramic location. Otherwise, the lunch didn't meet our expectations at all. We spent €74 for two first courses, a mixed grill (some of which were for the broth or ragù!), water, and a glass of wine: a price that, given what we received, we feel was completely unjustified. The dishes didn't convince us in terms of flavor or perceived quality, and overall, we had the distinct feeling that we were faced with an offering far from the standards we expected from such a well-known restaurant. The service also seemed cold and inattentive, while some details of the structure gave us the impression of a general lack of attention to detail. As for us, we won't be returning, and we don't feel comfortable recommending it.

23/02/2026: A truly lovely discovery! :o) A welcoming, cute pub, where you can eat very well and have excellent beers! The staff was really kind, friendly, professional, and efficient, especially Clarissa and the manager, whose name I can't remember :(, who make the difference... very nice, kind, and very professional. A place we'll definitely return to as soon as we're in the area again.

13/02/2026: Perfect pub to watch the game. Super engaging atmosphere and fast service. The real highlight is the tagliata: incredibly tender, perfectly cooked, and truly exceptional. Highly recommended!
