16/02/2025: We were 6 people on Sunday. We booked specifying that there was a serious person on wheels. As it stands, the Internet is accessible. Too bad there are no ramps, but steps to enter. We made do. If you are in a wheelchair, don't go there. Good food but limited choice. The price is excessive for what you eat. 2 first courses, 1 sweet water and coffee 68 euros. We weren't even on the lake shore. The waiters were friendly, but when the owner gave us the bill she was also annoyed that it was late and that she had to close. We went for lunch. Our fault for not looking at the menu before booking.

18/01/2025: Quick lunch, being in transit but everything was really tasty and quick as it was cooked on the spot by the very kind lady who owns the business. Unfortunately it's a bit out of the area for me but if I were to return to Omegna I will certainly return to taste other delicacies.

13/03/2025: I have lived in Santa Maria Maggiore since I was born, and a few days ago I went to the Le Colonne restaurant for the first time. How I regretted not coming sooner. The environment is classic and formal, but at the same time you can feel at ease. The waiters who followed my lunch and took my orders were disarmingly professional. Not to mention the dishes. We start with a selection of breads (3 types) and homemade breadsticks, accompanied by excellent olive oil. On this occasion I was offered, as well as all the guests, a complimentary entreé. Delightful. I ordered barbed artichokes stuffed with a prawn filling, on a warm cheese fondue. Divinely presented dish which, although very delicate, exploded a marvel of tastes. Not to forget the coffee accompanied by their chatter, perhaps the lightest I've had in my life. Optimal. I will definitely come back. Compliments to the chef and the restaurant.

01/11/2024: We passed the bar in the afternoon and had a great spot on the lake. Friendly service that served us quickly. Good drinks and delicious food at a good price. The view of the lake is fantastic.

11/03/2025: Bah.... Worst experience ever had at an all-you-can-eat restaurant! We went with the intention of enjoying a quiet lunch, but the staff were incredibly rude and offensive. After ordering multiple courses (which is VERY NORMAL in a place like this), the waitresses made us feel fat. Shameful and unacceptable behavior! But it didn't end there: after making us feel humiliated, they refused to bring us the rest of the food we requested, completely ignoring our orders. If you don't want people to eat, don't do an all-you-can-eat! Let's move on to the food: mediocre quality. Furthermore, the rude staff completely ruins the atmosphere. If you want to ruin your day and leave the place hungry and humiliated, this is the perfect place. Otherwise, AVOID IT like the plague! PS we recommend fixing some dishes on the menu such as the sandwich, the prawns don't do them if you are not capable and the smaller rolls. thanks for listening

08/03/2025: The food is great. Unfortunately, not all plates are brought to the table, you have to remind the waiters. I went on March 8, and all the ladies in the place were offered flowers instead, I had to ask for them. From my experience, the staff does not treat all customers the same way. May I know by what criteria you choose your favorite customers???

15/01/2025: Lunch on Sunday with a fixed menu with a multitude of tastings of starters, first courses, second courses, desserts. 30 euros including drinks, coffee, etc. I was definitely satisfied.
