30/11/2025: They are very friendly, I always have a great time, the food is good, the only thing is that when there are a lot of people it takes a while to serve, but I think that's logical, excellent. I recommend the restaurant.
22/11/2025: Courteous and friendly. The service was very good and the waiters were professional. Only the ambiance needed some aesthetic renovation.

04/01/2026: On Sunday, six of us went for lunch. Everything arrived: appetizers, first courses, second courses, pizzas. We all ate well. Prices were normal. The place was nice and clean.
02/12/2025: We had dinner with friends; it's my second time there. I had pizza, and it was good. Service was quick, and the staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the poor lighting. I prefer brighter places.

09/10/2025: The waitress was very nice and friendly. The bar is certainly OK for drinks right by the lake.
The food, however, is at least disgusting. The dishes served bear no resemblance to the pictures on the menu.
Instead of tuna sauce for Vitello Tonnato, a thick smear of mayonnaise is served on the plate. Underneath, there's dried-out meat and on top, three mini cans of capers.
The schnitzel tastes like cardboard; it's actually been cooked in a deep fryer and is anything but crispy. The breading is absolutely sticky and disgusting!
The fries look appetizing, but taste like burnt oil that probably hasn't been changed in years. Only edible with a good amount of ketchup.
So: better to go a few meters further for your meal if you want it to be edible!

11/08/2025: A pleasant surprise found thanks to Google, where my dad and I stopped for a sandwich and beer! Besides the classic "mountain" sandwiches (about €8), they also have more sophisticated options (I had the multigrain one with salmon, ricotta, sun-dried tomatoes, and salsa verde—delicious). The coffee was piping hot, just the way I like it. The girl and owners were incredibly kind. I'll be back with my colleagues!

Very refined atmosphere.
I always arrive late and can't enjoy the first-class cuisine because it closes shortly after, but there's always something delicious anyway.
Delicious desserts.
Top atmosphere.
Thanks to the welcome from the maitre d' and the very empathetic blonde waitress from Intra.
These places are also remembered for their human approach. ♡

06/01/2026: We returned to the Osteria Mercato today, welcomed as always with kindness by Chef Alessandro and his staff. The dishes were plated like "all-rounders," good and high-quality.
The coffee was also very good, which is not a given in restaurants. Congratulations.

14/12/2025: There is always a first time. This was ours: leaving a restaurant before ordering.
Upon arrival, I asked if there was a table for two. The person in charge said it was full inside and vaguely suggested we go “outside,” despite the temperature being around 1°C and no visible guests there. His attitude was openly annoyed, his explanations mumbled and unclear—surprising, given that I speak Italian at a C1–C2 level.
Only after being sent out did it become apparent that “outside” referred to a covered and heated structure to the side—something that could have been explained in one sentence or shown in ten seconds.
We attempted to sit at a table for two, only to find both chairs covered in bird droppings. A nearby table was slightly less dirty, so we moved there. While looking for tissues to clean the chairs ourselves, the person in charge returned, curtly told us we couldn’t sit there, and walked away. No explanation. No alternative. No courtesy.
At that point, we decided to leave.
If the food reflects the same standards as the service and hygiene, skipping the meal felt like the right choice.

The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is good, plentiful, and flavorful.
The place is small but charming. Whether you order takeout or dine-in, the experience won't disappoint.
The prices are low for what they offer.
On weekends, it's best to call ahead, even for takeout.
30/07/2025: I ordered takeout with a friend. The staff was very kind and accommodating, even though it was peak time. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the portions were adequate/generous, so much so that we had some leftovers to eat the next day, which were still very good. (Here's what we ordered: chicken curry, sweet and sour chicken, chicken and vegetable spaghetti, and the coconut dessert.)
