28/12/2024: ... it's better to go there now, before they get a Michelin star and are forced to increase prices :) Lots of choice of meat-free dishes, a rarity in Piedmont. Everything really delicious; service a little too formal for my tastes but, indeed, for my tastes.

28/12/2024: Bella location in ottima posizione panoramica con vista sul Mottarone e il Lago di Orta. Interno molto curato ed elegante, personale attento e cordiale ci si sente subito a proprio agio. Ottimo cibo e strepitoso carrello dei dolci e formaggi. Ovviamente tutta questa attenzione si paga un po' di più ma ne vale proprio la pena. Sicuramente torneremo.

24/12/2024: I came two weeks ago with my family. Even though the restaurant was full, the service was very fast and the waiters were very helpful. One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten, nice soft but well cooked. The location is beautiful and makes you feel at home. My compliments indeed, well done!

28/12/2024: A little place to be discovered where you don't expect it in Val di Susa. What can I say? An excellent experience across the board. For me, last night was the first time: a surprise dinner, I hadn't read any reviews and had no expectations because I didn't know the place. Elegant, but welcoming, not cold environment: attention to detail from the outside, furnishings, upholstery, even the services. Excellent food, really compliments to the kitchen. Refinement, study, quality of raw materials to create truly surprising and unusual dishes. Mention to the dining room staff: kindness, professionalism and light humor that breaks the ice and makes you feel welcomed. Excellent sommelier. It was a real pleasure being your guests and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended! Go ahead like this!

22/12/2024: Sent to a birthday we ate really... WELL! Top hospitality from the welcome, to the attention to detail, to the attention to the customer and to the food. The service was superb and fast. As a vegetarian, I have always had a dish that satisfied my needs. The drink, chosen by those who invited us, pleasantly accompanied the dinner. Definitely recommended.

14/01/2025: We occasionally return to this out-of-the-way restaurant, but which we really like! The food is always excellent with traditional, but not banal, recipes. The wine list is very extensive and Mr. Cirio's advice is always spot on. This time too we left saying "we have to come back as soon as possible"!

03/01/2025: We decided to have dinner at El Prado based on the excellent reviews. Expectations largely confirmed after a magnificent dinner of fresh fish paella prepared at the moment, sublime taste, fresh ingredients and perfect cooking. The pairing is perfect with the white sangria wisely suggested by the dining room staff. Excellent service and very very warm and friendly staff. 15/12/2024: Really lovely place: small but with everything you need. The cuisine is truly excellent and the service is punctual and very courteous. Typical Piedmontese cuisine with modern touches. We will definitely be back. Only flaws: 1. Absolute absence of field: although little attributable to the management of the place (although effective countermeasures exist nowadays) it is really a shame to be in a place where it is not possible to communicate with the outside. 2. The parking lot: many of our guests were forced to leave their cars on the side of the road in front of the restaurant even though it wasn't a real parking lot: the restaurant's parking lot was a muddy swamp in which myself and a friend later risked to get stuck: in 2024 there are all the means to make similar parking safer and more accessible.

20/11/2024: We got married on Sunday 8 September, a difficult day meteorologically speaking, yet the Vecchio Castagno fulfilled all our wishes! Between the beauty of the location, the attention to every little detail, the attention, the kindness of the staff and the beautiful "plan B", the rain literally took a back seat. We entrusted ourselves to Maria Grazia and Roberta knowing, from the first moment we met them, that we would be in excellent hands, they were impeccable, kind, helpful, unique!! The lovely place and the excellent and plentiful food, excellent quality/price! What can I say, we would like to get married again to relive all this ❤️ Simply thank you for making our day unique and unforgettable, we really couldn't ask for more!

12/11/2024: Fairytale wedding November 2024 We chose the Vecchio Castagno as the location for our wedding. From the first day we went to visit the estate and subsequently in testing the menu we found kindness, professionalism and excellent quality of the food. The availability of Mrs. Mariagrazia and Roberta struck us and therefore we chose to have our wedding there. On the wedding day everything was perfect, all the staff provided an excellent service and all the guests complimented the quality of the food and the beauty of the place. I would recommend this wonderful estate surrounded by greenery with an enchanting view to anyone.
