28/12/2024: Bella location in ottima posizione panoramica con vista sul Mottarone e il Lago di Orta. Interno molto curato ed elegante, personale attento e cordiale ci si sente subito a proprio agio. Ottimo cibo e strepitoso carrello dei dolci e formaggi. Ovviamente tutta questa attenzione si paga un po' di più ma ne vale proprio la pena. Sicuramente torneremo.

08/01/2025: It was my first time at the restaurant, the location is convenient as it is 10 minutes from Turin Porta Nuova station, therefore useful for stocking up for any trips. From what I understand all the products are lactose free, so you will have to give up the daisy. I had the opportunity to taste different types of pizza by the slice, and in any case the protagonist turns out to be the meltable and certainly light dough. There is the possibility of heating the products purchased to be able to enjoy them at their best. The place is typical of a bakery so the space is quite limited especially at peak times, but on the other hand the staff is very helpful and in all respects kind (just think that I was offered some pieces of very good white focaccia even though I am not a regular customer). The prices perhaps slightly higher than those I'm used to but certainly justified by the quality of the final result. Basically, if you are in the area, I recommend stopping by to taste a wide choice of excellent pizza by the slice, a product which in recent times has been increasingly rare to find (as God commands).

05/02/2025: Away from the chaos!! The owner makes you feel like a guest, not a customer, excellent music, soft lights, candles on the tables, smell of incense. It transports you to another dimension, good wine, good food, the burgers are spectacular, we have already been 3 times and we always leave satisfied! The only flaw is that we are a little far away.

02/02/2025: I went to eat a sandwich and I can say that I was really satisfied. Compliments to Sara, the waitress, who served me. Availability and hospitality are part of this place and the food is really good. I will return next time. Keep up the great work!!

15/02/2025: We spent Valentine's Day dinner in the restaurant, a beautiful place with polite and helpful staff. We tried their famous Agnolotti del plin al napkin, exceptional! The starters are also excellent, with the possibility of tastings to try more than one. The same goes for desserts! I highly recommend, try it! We will definitely be back, congratulations

Peccato che avevamo poco tempo e abbiamo dovuto optare per un pranzo veloce, 3 portate in due, rinunciando a un ricco carrello di dolci. Non posso recensire la carta dei vini, offerti anche a calice, io astemia e marito che doveva guidare. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Torneremo, prendendoci il tempo per assaggiare altri piatti, dolci compresi. Grazie al passante che ci ha gentilmente indicato questo locale.

20/01/2025: We came 2 times in 1 day!! But the first time we tried the sandwiches and they were really delicious and the second time for the aperitif which was also top and plentiful. The ingredients are fresh and the flavors well balanced. Special thanks to Laura, the waitress, for her kindness and professionalism. An experience I highly recommend!

30/12/2024: Quick lunch in the center of Asti, we let ourselves be convinced by the menu displayed outside the restaurant and we do well. Among the many possible options (cutting boards, decomposed sandwiches, hot dishes) we took four sandwiches with local raw materials, customizing with the type of bread/focaccia that we liked most. Well-finished, balanced sandwiches, tasty with every bite. We spent around 10 euros each including coffee water and lady's kiss (also delicious). The platters we saw at the nearby tables also seemed rich and enjoyable. A round of applause to the girl who advised and served us, kind, friendly and competent. If we were from the area we would certainly be very loyal!

29/12/2024: Da premettere che non ho mangiato male ….i plin ripieni di cipolla immersi nella fonduta di parmigiano perdevano il loro sapore, lo zabajone buono ma forse fatto un po’ prima…si stava formando una patina. Il cameriere dovrebbe sapere che quando si versa il vino non si passa davanti alle persone, ma si gira!

20/11/2024: We got married on Sunday 8 September, a difficult day meteorologically speaking, yet the Vecchio Castagno fulfilled all our wishes! Between the beauty of the location, the attention to every little detail, the attention, the kindness of the staff and the beautiful "plan B", the rain literally took a back seat. We entrusted ourselves to Maria Grazia and Roberta knowing, from the first moment we met them, that we would be in excellent hands, they were impeccable, kind, helpful, unique!! The lovely place and the excellent and plentiful food, excellent quality/price! What can I say, we would like to get married again to relive all this ❤️ Simply thank you for making our day unique and unforgettable, we really couldn't ask for more!

12/11/2024: Fairytale wedding November 2024 We chose the Vecchio Castagno as the location for our wedding. From the first day we went to visit the estate and subsequently in testing the menu we found kindness, professionalism and excellent quality of the food. The availability of Mrs. Mariagrazia and Roberta struck us and therefore we chose to have our wedding there. On the wedding day everything was perfect, all the staff provided an excellent service and all the guests complimented the quality of the food and the beauty of the place. I would recommend this wonderful estate surrounded by greenery with an enchanting view to anyone.
