23/11/2025: Excellent value for money, beautiful location next to the Renaissance Collegiate Church. We were greeted with old-world courtesy by the manager and his son.
20/10/2025: We went there on Sunday for lunch to celebrate my son's birthday with the family. Everything was perfect. Alberto had set tables both inside and outside, giving us plenty of choice. Given the beautiful day, we sat outside. We started with a selection of very good and generous appetizers, followed by an excellent first course and an equally excellent second course. It's a shame about the dessert; I couldn't finish it because I was so full. I recommend it to everyone. The only flaw is the garden; it could use a little more care, but it's most likely been somewhat ruined by the recent archaeological excavation campaign.

20/04/2026: It was our first time at this place, which serves sandwiches and polenta. They offer vegan, vegetarian, and cured meat options.
We tried two sandwiches, both very filling, with a pleasantly crunchy bread. The polenta with taleggio and porcini mushrooms was also excellent, truly delicious; it just needed a pinch of salt to make it perfect.
My favorite was the tart with strawberry compote. The owner made sure the compote was homemade, and you can taste the difference!
The prices were fair, and the service was very fast.
29/03/2026: We went to eat at Covivio today during the trip to the Sacred Mount of Varese.. the best sandwiches I've ever eaten.. very kind staff and a very nice atmosphere. Well done guys.

06/10/2025: This all-you-can-eat restaurant is way too expensive for the quality it offers.
Unfortunately, we found a hair in one of the dishes, and shortly before, guests at another table called the waitress for the same problem. At this point, I'm starting to think there's a general lack of attention to hygiene in the kitchen.
Furthermore, they didn't apply any discounts to the bill to at least try to make up for this serious mistake.
The service is terrible. Hardly anyone speaks fluent Italian, so it's difficult to order and make yourself understood. In fact, we skipped dessert for this very reason.
I will definitely never return and I strongly advise against it!!!
06/10/2025: The atmosphere is very nice, but unfortunately, it's very poorly organized. The service needs a complete overhaul...many oversights and a lot of confusion. The dishes are delicious.

02/02/2026: Decent pizza, tomato sauce a bit too acidic, and ingredients of average-to-low quality. I would have liked at least a sprig of oregano or basil in the Margherita sauce.
12/01/2026: I ordered a takeout pizza from this place on a Saturday night, and I have to say it was perfect timing for a Saturday night.
The place is very nice looking and very clean.
It's a different type of pizza than my favorite Neapolitan one, but that's just my preference and doesn't really matter... we were a little disappointed because, of the pizzas we ordered, the white one with cooked ham and parmesan cheese ended up with just parmesan.
Another aspect: we all drank a lot that night... so perhaps something needs to be reworked in the dough, from my incompetent perspective, or something else entirely.

11/11/2025: A frequent guest at the Stay, this time I opted not for a restaurant, but for a takeaway and eat-in option.
It's exactly the kind of food I've always appreciated, not the usual all-you-can-eat fare.
The classic Chinese food I've known since the early 1980s.
Fast service and great quality, as well as a delightfully embarrassing quantity.
Truly a great discovery.

We were warmly welcomed, the owners were very friendly, and the service was efficient considering the number of people.

02/01/2026: I went to celebrate New Year's Eve, and I must say I had a truly wonderful time. The food was excellent and well-prepared, even for those like me who had intolerances. They were very careful to accommodate our dietary needs, but that doesn't mean anyone else who was with me really appreciated the high-quality, well-prepared cuisine.
It's actually not my first time there, and I've always had a great experience, whether it's a weekend meal or a pizzeria, or simply a midweek menu.
I'd like to first compliment the restaurant manager, who is kind, friendly, and attentive to the needs of his customers; the chef for his professionalism; and the dining room staff for their friendliness. I highly recommend it.

08/03/2026: I'd already been there five years ago, and it was decent, but now the quality of the food has dropped significantly. The carbonara had cooked egg and raw bacon, and only a forkful was eaten.
The cacio e pepe wasn't made right either.
The mussels weren't very fresh.
The only thing I liked was the seasoning on the red and white mussels and the tuna with chopped pistachios. The rest is 0.
The waiter was very kind.
