28/10/2025: I went to dinner with some colleagues three days ago and found the food excellent and plentiful. The place is very quiet. I recommend it.

11/09/2025: It's a quiet hotel in the middle of the woods (the waterfall opposite is spectacular) and is in a great location for hikers (close to trails and the chairlift). It has an '80s style; that's its charm, but some things could be improved. The rooms are always clean. The breakfast service could be improved, but dinner is excellent (always generous). It's also ideal for celiacs. The owner is always kind and helpful, but I prefer not to comment on his wife's situation after last night's episode.

20/05/2026: The pizza is phenomenal, to say the least. If you don't eat two, you're not a pizza connoisseur! Ivan, the host, is welcoming and knows how to be a "host." Andrea makes pizza that's pure poetry. I highly recommend it if you want to eat pizza... the real thing!

11/05/2026: The pizza is truly delicious, with fresh ingredients and a light dough. The place is very welcoming and well-kept, perfect for a relaxing evening. The owner is wonderful, always kind and helpful. Excellent service, I'll definitely be back!

31/05/2026: We often stop for lunch or dinner featuring pizzoccheri. A family atmosphere, the owners are very polite and professional. Delicious pizzoccheri. Update May 2026: As always, a sure thing, the staff is always kind and professional. Recommended!

13/01/2026: Spectacular food, perhaps one of the best in Aprica in terms of quality. Delicious, very friendly and helpful service, and not a lot of money; in fact, it feels like you're still paying lira prices. The atmosphere is very beautiful, especially the dining room, with its paintings.

05/03/2026: A disappointing experience with a hefty bill at this aesthetically welcoming refuge nestled in a picturesque setting. While the landscape and snow created a pleasant atmosphere, the same couldn't be said for the dishes we ordered. The Sciatt lacked the cheese flavor, as did the taragna polenta, the ribs had a sweetish sauce, and the slimy mushrooms. Besides being seated at a large shared table, which perhaps not everyone enjoys, the bill, approximately €83, left us with a bitter taste.

28/05/2026: Very nice place, friendly, helpful, and courteous service. Everything is spectacular, but I especially recommend the Valtellina gnocchi. Fantastic!

02/05/2026: Very nice, immersed in the greenery of the Gembro plain, there are also tables outside, clean and friendly environment, the dishes are good and the service is fast despite the large crowds on holidays.

05/07/2026: A surreal experience, to be avoided. We had a table reserved for 9:00 PM and arrived at 8:57 PM. A young woman simply told us to wait, without any explanation. After 15 minutes, we were still there, surrounded by empty tables, not understanding what we were waiting for. At that point, an extremely rude waiter arrived and, instead of asking if we had a reservation, told another woman, referring to us, that the food was out and they wouldn't serve any more customers. Food out at 9:15 PM? Unheard of in a restaurant. When we pointed out that we had a reservation, they told us it wasn't their problem and that we could leave. After complaining, they finally let us sit, but we stayed another 15 minutes without even receiving a menu. When the woman returned after about half an hour, instead of apologizing, she got angry with me, saying she was the owner and didn't listen to the waiters. I pointed out that she'd left us completely abandoned for over 30 minutes and that I was writing a review. Her response was not to do so and that, even though she never responds to reviews, she'd wait for mine to reply. If an owner habitually ignores customer reviews, that says a lot about the way they run their business. The place also seemed dirty, dark, and poorly maintained. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food, because we didn't get a chance to try it... it was already sold out! 😂 Luckily, we didn't go without dinner: we found another restaurant a minute's walk away where, without a reservation, at 9:30 PM they welcomed us kindly, served us quickly, and ensured we had a pleasant evening. One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant.

10/01/2026: Excellent location near the Bernina train station and the reception staff are very friendly! The rooms are comfortable and clean, the only downside is that the cleaning staff are too noisy in the morning moving their things and shouting in the hallways!
