28/10/2025: I went to dinner with some colleagues three days ago and found the food excellent and plentiful. The place is very quiet. I recommend it.
11/09/2025: It's a quiet hotel in the middle of the woods (the waterfall opposite is spectacular) and is in a great location for hikers (close to trails and the chairlift). It has an '80s style; that's its charm, but some things could be improved. The rooms are always clean. The breakfast service could be improved, but dinner is excellent (always generous). It's also ideal for celiacs. The owner is always kind and helpful, but I prefer not to comment on his wife's situation after last night's episode.

08/03/2026: I'm torn about giving this rating because the pizza is really good, light, and doesn't leave you thirsty. Unfortunately, the overall experience was terrible. At a table of five, the waiter literally ignored me while I was ordering, and when I pointed it out, he didn't offer an apology. The pizza was almost thrown into my hand with extreme reluctance. To top it off, the beer had a soapy aftertaste, and the desserts were clearly industrially made. The decor is poorly maintained, and the final bill was quite steep for the treatment I received. I don't think I'll be back.
15/02/2026: The pizza is excellent and the staff is kind, attentive, and professional. Definitely recommended!

13/01/2026: Spectacular food, perhaps one of the best in Aprica in terms of quality. Delicious, very friendly and helpful service, and not a lot of money; in fact, it feels like you're still paying lira prices. The atmosphere is very beautiful, especially the dining room, with its paintings.

05/03/2026: A disappointing experience with a hefty bill at this aesthetically welcoming refuge nestled in a picturesque setting. While the landscape and snow created a pleasant atmosphere, the same couldn't be said for the dishes we ordered. The Sciatt lacked the cheese flavor, as did the taragna polenta, the ribs had a sweetish sauce, and the slimy mushrooms. Besides being seated at a large shared table, which perhaps not everyone enjoys, the bill, approximately €83, left us with a bitter taste.
20/02/2026: It's great here. The food is great, the service is cheerful and pleasant. They will do whatever you ask. The cook is luxurious

30/07/2025: Trovata per caso. Già guardando "l'aria che tirava da fuori" abbiamo capito di essere in un posto super. Il menù e le pietanze hanno poi confermato! Piatti con prodotti di qualità, porzioni generose, servizio efficiente, la cordialità e simpatia della Giovanna hanno reso il pranzo una bella esperienza

06/02/2026: Good food and friendly staff, but nothing like the old management. The menu is simple, but also overly so, with at least half the options it once had. The restaurant's signature dishes, such as beef in olive oil, venison steak, and the pastry chef's homemade desserts, are sorely missed. Nothing special compared to any other restaurant in Aprica.

16/02/2026: I went to my birthday party with my parents.
A wonderful place, rich in soul and history. The food is truly delicious, tender and incredibly flavorful braised beef. I think I ate the best polenta taragna of my life. The sciat and cheeses are incredible.
The staff is super kind and friendly, you feel right at home. Fair prices.
In short, a true osteria, well done!

One of the best venison stews I've ever eaten.
You have to work hard to make the schnitzels...
The service was impeccable, and the woman serving was very helpful and professional.
Definitely worth returning.

10/01/2026: Excellent location near the Bernina train station and the reception staff are very friendly! The rooms are comfortable and clean, the only downside is that the cleaning staff are too noisy in the morning moving their things and shouting in the hallways!
