13/07/2025: Tried at the end of June. The location is split between an indoor area (without air conditioning) and an outdoor paved "garden" facing the street. If you're lucky enough to get a table near the entrance, you might even hear a puff of air every now and then. If, however, you're huddled at the back, near the garage like us, you'll be suffocated by the heat. The service was quite slow, with few staff (and not very empathetic) who had to walk all the way from the inside of the restaurant to the paved area. Once we ordered our drinks, we had to ask one of the two waitresses, who was happily chatting with the customers, oblivious to our orders. We ordered craft beer. The amber beer we received was watery, thin-bodied, and had a distinctly vinegary flavor from a small keg... undrinkable. We asked for a replacement. Having acknowledged the mistake (halfway through—the excuse being that they had brought an IPA, which was nothing like an IPA...), it was replaced with a fairly bland lager. The pizza had good ingredients, though the dough was a bit bland (but maybe that's for the best; they put salt everywhere these days). Still, it was good and well-cooked. Prices were in line. The service, staff, and, at this point, even the beers need to be reconsidered.

20/06/2025: I ate the pizza colpevole with taste. Good food, service ok. Very thin dough. minus is there is nowhere to park.

31/07/2025: A charming, eclectic refuge. We ate excellent pizzoccheri! It can be reached on foot in about 15-20 minutes via a dirt path, accessible even with strollers, starting from the dirt parking lot.

29/07/2025: Very beautiful and quaint atmosphere. The service wasn't great. We were a couple, and then four more people arrived. They made us sit next to each other at a large table for 25-30 people, as if the place was full, even though there was no one there. The dishes were decent, but not exceptional for the price. The service charge was low, and you eat at a large table with paper napkins and thin wooden plates, which I don't know how hygienic they are.

19/07/2025: Very spacious room with a balcony and a huge bathroom. Recently renovated. Good breakfast, parking for motorcycles, and a great location!

09/07/2025: Centrally located hotel! Not much to look at from the outside! Clean and well-maintained inside! Rooms have been renovated and are clean. We would book again for our family. The restaurant is rather expensive, but the food was okay but nothing special.

26/07/2025: We dined here a few nights ago. Since all the tables in the dining room were booked, they offered us a table in the bar, and we still had a great time. The three of us enjoyed a platter of delicious cured meats with some spectacular rustic crackers. Then tagliolini with venison ragù and pizzoccheri. Finally, two desserts, coffee and amaro. Everything was delicious and served with care. The staff was friendly and professional. We'll be back.

02/05/2025: Review on the restaurant, old style structure, excellent Valtellina cuisine, excellent revisited typical dishes and in generous portions. Quick and courteous service. Advised !

23/02/2025: The hotel inside is stuck in the 80s but gives off a strong heat. The owner is really kind and approachable. We only stayed one night and we had a divine dinner, the same goes for the really well made breakfast.

30/07/2025: Trovata per caso. Già guardando "l'aria che tirava da fuori" abbiamo capito di essere in un posto super. Il menù e le pietanze hanno poi confermato! Piatti con prodotti di qualità, porzioni generose, servizio efficiente, la cordialità e simpatia della Giovanna hanno reso il pranzo una bella esperienza Bravissimi

13/08/2025: It is unacceptable to be greeted by staff who swear and curse at customers who have just entered (and not even greeted, obviously) because they stumble about their business and then get upset, instead of apologizing.

05/08/2025: Excellent refreshment point at the start of the Pian di Gembro loop. Excellent, high-quality food, from appetizers to desserts, which can also be enjoyed as a snack. Four stars for the long wait at peak times. Reservations recommended ;-)

30/05/2025: 23-05-2025 Walking around small towns out of tourist season it is very difficult to find a place to eat. Asking in the nearby town, they told me about this restaurant. Convenient parking, simple and welcoming environment. Unfortunately, having arrived after 1.00 pm and not having booked, the kitchen was closed. The owner kindly offers to make me some sandwiches. I choose one with cheese and one with bresaola. Very good sandwiches and filling. To drink I take a bottle of water and a coffee. Total cost €8.70. Talking to people at the bar, they told me that the food is very good. If I am still in the area .... I will book and try.

10/07/2025: Excellent location next to the Bernina Express Hotel station. The room had 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. A bit warm.

07/07/2025: Arriving at check in we were greeted by the receptionist who was, to say the least, unhelpful. In addition to the denial of parking (which we had booked) due to a party in the street, she was unable to give us alternative directions with arrogance and absolute unavailability. The Room (Japan) is clean and modernized even if without air conditioning (impossible in a 3 star hotel) and the curtain that could not be kept open. The quality-price ratio is very low. Although we asked for an umbrella to go out, this was not available .... Service not to be reviewed but to be improved a lot.

12/02/2025: Ci sono tornato ieri sera a cena dopo un anno e ho ritrovato la stessa qualità e bontà dei piatti tipici della cucina locale. Prezzi assolutamente onesti e servizio sempre cortese e veloce. Ottimo per una cena livignasca

29/05/2025: Ho pranzato in questo ristorante e devo dire che la qualità del cibo era molto buona e molto bene è andato pure il servizio, il titolare una persona molto alla mano e simpatico, non è scontato trovarne così, peraltro il locale molto bello internamente, con una bella mise en place ed una vista stupenda, ci tornerò.

20/04/2025: Una stella per la posizione e per la vista ma per quanto riguarda il cibo lasciamo perdere. Il locale era pieno di stranieri probabilmente ospiti dell'albergo. Abbiamo ordinato due primi : Pizzoccheri per me e tagliatelle con i funghi per mia moglie. Orribili, entrambi forse riscaldati per la quinta/sesta volta. Capisco il pizzocchero ma la tagliatella che ha una cottura di 5 minuti non la posso accettare. Forse quello che più conta per loro è accontentare gruppi stranieri e fare soldi mentre fare bene da mangiare non è la priorità del titolare. Avrei voluto far venire al tavolo lo chef e fargli assaggiare i piatti ma mia moglie ha preferito lasciar perdere. Anche i prezzi sarebbero da discutere. Mai più. Italiani state alla larga !!!!
