07/05/2026: Our favourite restaurant in Milan. Despite the 'outdoor' area being constantly busy, they always find a good table for you. The staff are extremely professional but still warm and friendly. Our waiter Louis (unsure of spelling) was fantastic - warm, funny, professional, and attentive. Always looking over to his tables in case customers want his attention. Exactly what you want from a waiter. The food was absolutely phenomenal, both mains and desserts were 10/10 every time. Without much wait considering it is in the centre of the shopping district. Free bread with homemade spicy sauce. A cover charge is added and entirely justified. I just wish we found an ATM during our trip so we could tip more. We returned to this restaurant during our trip, and will continue to recommend and hopefully come back one day.

07/05/2026: I dined alone and i asked if there is decaf coffee, answer is no(actually there is decaf). I didn’t want to order bottled sparkling water because I couldn’t have full bottle by myself. However, the waiter kept asking me repeatedly if i order water, like 7times in total, and gave me really judgmental and unpleasant looks. His attitude made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome as a solo guest. It is unacceptable for restaurant staff to pressure customers into extra orders and show obvious disapproval just because someone chooses not to buy wine or drink.

19/05/2025: Un ottimo locale vicino al centro, ottima cucina hanno soddisfatto ogni nostra esigenza, un grazie particolare va al cameriere Francesco che che stato molto professionale e gentile, e anche il cuoco Fabio he ha preparato tutto per noi! Per non parlare della simpatia della cassiera che è stata gentilissima

20/04/2025: We visited Trattoria Caprese near Porta Garibaldi and the experience was overall positive, although not without its drawbacks. The pizza was truly excellent: soft dough, quality ingredients, and authentic flavors reminiscent of true Neapolitan tradition. Every bite confirmed the care and attention put into its preparation. Unfortunately, kitchen service was very slow: we had to wait about an hour for our pizzas. This was certainly an excessive wait, especially considering the restaurant was full but not overcrowded. It should be noted, however, that the staff was always impeccable: kind, helpful, and professional from start to finish, managing to maintain a friendly atmosphere despite the delays. In summary: excellent pizza and courteous service, but the wait times could be improved. We would gladly return, perhaps at a less crowded time.

05/06/2026: The business lunch, two dishes for €18 including water, was absolutely fantastic. The owner and service were lovely, the food was excellent and incredibly good value for the price. Highly recommended!

14/02/2026: AVOID! And they're lucky I didn't report them! On Thursday the 12th, two of us stopped here for a pre-theater dinner. We ordered two lemon tartares, two glasses of wine, and a dessert. Perhaps we should have realized right away that the color of the two tartares wasn't reassuring, since the meat was very dark, almost brown, but it didn't have any unpleasant odors. Unfortunately, the next day we both spent the whole day in the bathroom! And we felt really bad! But why serve spoiled food? Raw meat must be treated with care! Otherwise, it's best to change jobs. Perhaps we should have realized the place was terrible from the fact that only one other table was occupied by four foreigners. I really hope those four didn't order the tartare!!!

05/05/2026: I haven't tried any other food... but the pizza is a pricey bargain: €4.10 for a raw, cold, rubbery slice of pizza. I mean, I expected better right across from the university.

23/04/2026: Very simple but always delicious aperitifs. A must-try for University students. Prices are very competitive considering the area. Unfortunately, it can get really crowded at times in the late afternoon, but the staff at the bar still manage to keep up.

27/07/2025: Best granita in the area! I recommend this flavor: rhubarb, lychee, and red grapefruit 👍

23/07/2025: In a quiet, secluded spot… a really great ice cream shop with about twenty flavors. We ordered two large cones and one with whipped cream for €12.40. And honestly, there was a huge amount of ice cream. The ice cream was really delicious. The staff was very friendly.

07/05/2026: The wait times were too long. The portions were too small for the price, and the food quality was very poor. Unsatisfactory.

11/04/2026: I had a chocolate milkshake and the bartender served it to me all watered down with milk, it was runny and didn't taste like chocolate.

10/05/2026: First of all, the price is Milanese, which is quite expensive, but the food was absolutely awful... I've been in Italy for over 20 days and have never had anything this bad. That's because I went in because it was raining during The Last Supper and the restaurant was closed on Sunday. This is the first time I've ever given a restaurant a star.

09/05/2026: It's perfect for a quick coffee. And the price is absolutely in line with any other café (not just in Milan), especially given the location. The waiters aren't particularly forthcoming; on the contrary, they're not a problem. But if you're in a hurry, that's fine. The interior isn't very attractive (the outdoor tables are much better). The second time I went, I got gelato, again on the go. I wouldn't recommend it, because it's not the best, and there are some truly excellent gelato shops in Milan.

09/01/2026: Best Chinese restaurant in Milan! Unbeatable value for money, and that's no surprise considering we're in the Quadrilatero area! The food is plentiful, hot, and delicious!! I always love coming back!

08/11/2025: I should try something else, though. The lasagna portion shocked me. We paid more than 20 euros for two measly pieces of lasagna, and we went home and had to eat again because we were so hungry. Damn it...
