23/09/2025: Best food, and dinner service I’ve ever had in Italy! Service is amazing and vibes are immaculate. Don’t pass this place up if you get the chance. Ask Gianni for his recommendations! He’s the best!

23/09/2025: Giovanni and his team are ‘fantastico’ hosts and the food is great. We’ve had both take away pizzas and dining-in gnocchi, pizzas etc and both times we left very happy. Thanks Giovanni for looking after us during our Milan stay!!

31/08/2025: I've been wanting to go there for a while. Finally, I've discovered a great place... an excellent, high-end restaurant, a unique menu that exceeds expectations, refined dishes, beautifully presented, and I'd say generous in quantity for a gourmet restaurant. Service is beyond excellent, professional and well-coordinated... pleasant and sophisticated background music... what more can I say? If I could, I'd go back every day... prices? Well... we're talking about a top-tier restaurant, so high, but in the end, it's worth it... it leaves its mark... we'll be back.

08/07/2025: I've had panzerotto at Ettore's, it's a school institution on the Navigli... the "classy" panzerotto is top-notch. And the owner's friendliness is one of the pluses of this small place. Everything is good.

05/09/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Authentic local milanase cuisine. Anchovies were beautiful! Veal was tender. Wine recommendation was perfect. We sat in the garden, which is beautiful. Wonderful experience.

18/08/2025: After many years, I returned to Cantina Piemontese for a company dinner. In all honesty, I found the quality of the food to be average compared to the dizzying prices (for the set menu including wine the bill was €130/person!!!!!!). Totally senseless quality/price ratio, not recommended with these prices (in Milan).

13/08/2025: Delicious kebab, with fresh, excellent ingredients. A welcoming place, perfect for a leisurely meal. The owner, Rocco, is a wonderful person, always kind and helpful. The only shame is the recent price increase for sandwiches. Fucking hell.

24/05/2025: Very small place, just under ten 'flying' seats. Fantastic kebab. Really good. The pizza is the crunchy Arab type. Customers even from outside the area. There must be a reason.

12/07/2025: Beautiful location in the center of Isola. Decent food, but I don't recommend the red prawns, which arrived uncleaned and in their shells. The fried food is good. The cocktails are good. The service was terrible. The table we were sitting at wasn't clean, and there were dirty ashtrays. When we asked to remove them (we're non-smokers), the waitress accidentally made the table even more dirty, spilling cigarettes on us. She apologized, but that doesn't mean the tables shouldn't be clean and free of other drinks when guests arrive. We asked for water three times, which was served after our cocktails and appetizers. If you're looking for a nice place to have a drink in Isola, this is a great place to go. Otherwise, I'd recommend other places.

13/09/2025: The food is always excellent, with original and varied recipes. I also appreciate that the side dishes are truly thoughtful and interesting, unlike the usual ones. Today I had a cucumber salad seasoned with coriander, lime, and chili pepper, truly delicious, the best I've ever tasted. High-quality fish and excellent baked goods. The atmosphere is minimalist, retro, and conceptual; I really like it. Prompt service. Excellent value for money. A refreshing restaurant, worth a visit.

05/09/2025: Food was so amazing and beautiful interiors. Staff were also lovely, would definitely return. We had the mackerel, meatballs (not GF), octopus, and chicken. No gluten free bread or pasta but majority of dishes could be made gluten free.

05/09/2025: The pizza was really good. The atmosphere was nice. If I had to criticize it... it was the service. The waiter assigned to us was a bit pushy with the selection and the timing of our orders... Nothing negative at all, I'll be back...

01/09/2025: Costa Sud is a welcoming and elegant restaurant, ideal for any occasion. The pizzas are exceptional, with light dough and high-quality ingredients, especially those from Southern Italy. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable, and service is fast even during busy periods. Excellent value. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
