31/05/2025: Extremely Disappointed by the Rude Service Xin Fu Ji Milano – 30 May 2025, 20:30 We were absolutely shocked by the rude and unprofessional behavior we experienced during our visit to Xin Fu Ji Milano. There were six of us dining together. From the start, we clearly informed the waitress that we do not eat pork before placing our orders. One of the dishes ordered was Orange Chicken. However, the waitress brought out Orange Duck instead. When we told her it was the wrong dish and that we do not eat duck either, she didn’t apologize. Instead, she rudely replied, “I thought you said you only don’t eat pork??” — as if it were our fault. When we firmly stated that we had ordered Orange Chicken, she argued that the restaurant only serves Orange Duck, not chicken — something that, if true, should have been explained at the beginning. The situation escalated when another young waitress approached us and accused us of ordering the wrong dish. As we tried to calmly explain what had actually happened, she stood with her hands on her waist in a clearly confrontational and disrespectful stance. Not long after, an older woman — seemingly the mother of the two waitresses — came to our table and asked, “Did you order the wrong dish?” It became clear to us that the waitresses had misrepresented the situation to their mother, implying that we were at fault. This made us even more upset, and we felt compelled to stand up for ourselves. Eventually, under pressure, the first waitress admitted that she had misheard and made the mistake. But by then, the damage had been done. To be spoken to with such rudeness, blamed for a staff error, and treated with zero respect — especially by staff much younger than us — was absolutely unacceptable. We simply cannot believe that anyone in the hospitality industry would treat paying customers this way. What should have been a pleasant dinner turned into a deeply upsetting and unpleasant experience. We sincerely hope the management addresses this behavior seriously so that no future guests are treated the same way.

19/05/2025: Great lunch break. Perhaps the best ethnic restaurant for lunch in the S. Babila area. Excellent and plentiful dishes.

25/03/2025: If you want top quality this is the right bar. Excellent breakfast, quality croissants, UNSURPASSED cakes, hood with perfect foam. Homemade cakes and biscuits that you can also buy and you will make a great impression. Simone is always attentive to details.

30/04/2025: The place is nice, the food is quite good. A more rustic solution would be an added touch. Industrial pasta and artisanal sauce, courteous but not very empathetic staff. Portions a little small....Little choice on the menu and this is usually a sign of a lot of care in the preparation of the dishes but from this point of view they could do something more. No waiting for the table because I had booked about a month before initially asking for an outside table which had been "guaranteed" to me if there was good weather. However, when I arrived they didn't offer curbside service. Cost/yield ratio a bit poor, I don't think I will take this place into consideration for other occasions. Obviously it's a subjective judgement, but I would only eat there again if I was in the area....

21/05/2025: La domenica è di rito la colazione con caffè e le briosche tutte buone specialmente il papionn alla fragola oltre a tutte le altre il tutto servito da personale gentile e qualificato , il rapporto prezzo /qualità e giusta …consigliatissimo

21/05/2025: On Sundays breakfast is a ritual with coffee and croissants, all good, especially the strawberry papionn as well as all the others, all served by kind and qualified staff, the price/quality ratio is right...highly recommended

26/03/2025: I've been there several times, cozy place with great service. You can eat very well with an excellent quality-price ratio (first course, second course and side dish menu, with water and coffee, for 12 euros)

02/06/2025: Nice find! Hamburger in the Vimercate tower district, excellent sandwiches. I like that there is variety in the menu, so that you can please all the guests. Relatively high prices, but excellent quality products! I will return

09/06/2025: Unfortunately, the chocolate croissants are not that good. Any croissant is better than this one. It has more chocolate and is not so dry. The staff is very friendly.

08/06/2025: This place is worth a visit! We came from Finland and found this amazing place near our accommodation! The service was incredibly friendly and everything we ate was delicious. Definitely one of the best cafes I've been to. Thank you!

23/03/2025: Ho appena preso un affogato all’amarena composto da gelato, amarene, panna e cialda. Costo 5€ Mi hanno portato un affogato senza panna perché alle 19.00 avevano già pulito e anche senza cialda perché l’avevano dimenticato. Al momento del pagamento volevano che lo pagassi al prezzo pieno perché sostenevano di aver messo 3 palle di gelato ma in realtà erano a malapena 2. La banconista particolarmente scontrosa mi ha fatto uno sconto di malapena 0,50 cent.

14/03/2025: Un posto da favola. Al piano terra tanti prodotti freschi di altissima qualità, formaggi, yogurt, gelati, latte, etc... Al primo piano un posto accogliente dove mangiare comodamente seduti. Ci fermiamo ogni volta che siamo di passaggio in Valtellina. Promosso a pieni voti

08/12/2024: Excellent pizza by the slice, tasty, well cooked, digestible, excellent service, clean place and very helpful staff. Fabulous quality/price ratio, only flaw is that it does not deliver to your home but it is very well served by public transport. Absolutely recommended also for panzerotti and stuffed focaccia.
