04/09/2025: Quite a commercial place. The pastries are artisanal, good, and in line with expectations. The coffee shop and the rest aren't up to par (low-quality coffee and cappuccino), and the pastries aren't well presented by the staff. The service is average, polite. They get busy, so they don't bother with passers-by. I won't return, given the wide selection in Milan. Price is in line with expectations for Milan.

The display alone is enough to make you swoon, packed with croissants and pastries that look, and taste, like art. The croissants? Absolutely next level: buttery, flaky, and filled with the kind of pastry cream that makes you forget everything else. Seasonal treats keep the menu fresh and always a surprise. Pair it with a V60 specialty coffee from world-class roasters (think Dak from Amsterdam) and you're in heaven! Staff are friendly, passionate, and genuinely love sharing their creations. Bonus: once a month, they host French-themed dinners with top-notch wines. Prices are fair for the quality you get. Bottom line: L’Île Douce isn’t just a café, it’s a little slice of France in Milan, perfect for croissant lovers and coffee nerds! Since opening, L'Île Douce has earned a special place among my favorites, not only in Milan but around the world! As soon as you enter, the atmosphere is reminiscent of a true French boulangerie: the counter is overflowing with croissants, Viennese pastries, and top-quality pastries, all prepared with great care. The croissants are the real highlight: fragrant, buttery, perfect with custard, and every seasonal offering is surprising from the first bite. The quality of the pastries is paired with top-notch specialty coffee, also served using the V60 method from international roasters like Dak of Amsterdam. The staff is always friendly and passionate, ready to guide you in your selection and expertly explain the preparations. Once a month, they host French-themed dinners, accompanied by excellent wines, which complete the experience. Prices are more than in line with the quality offered. 15/10/2025: The kebab was okay, not the best quality, but the bread was really good!

22/08/2025: The staff were kind and welcoming. I had a fantastic pizza. I'll be coming here more often. After a while, I'm sorry to hear what I'm about to add. Courtesy is lacking. No response to greetings when entering or leaving. The staff serving tables just needs a scolding to give customers a good shake, who would have been better off staying home than bothering those who want to be left alone. I repeat: courtesy is lacking!

01/09/2025: We stopped by for lunch, the midday menu included a first course, a second course, water, wine, and coffee for €14 per person. Clean, modern, and the staff was friendly and very efficient. A good lunch at a truly competitive price.

18/09/2025: Nice place, very friendly staff. Excellent food quality. Neapolitan and non-Neapolitan cuisine. Unique and delicious pizzas. The next evening I opted for an appetizer and a first course. Everything was delicious. Prices were perhaps a little high, but that's acceptable for the quality. I'll definitely be back.

19/09/2025: We do not often go to a restaurant twice on a visit, but we had both lunch and dinner here during our three days in Milan. The T-bone steak is perfect. Absolutely rivals any steakhouse and any Florentino steak you can offer as comparison. The lobster pasta is so delicate and delicious. The eggplant (which I usually do not eat) was expertly prepared and so complexly delicious. The service is beyond and beyond and the setting, while perhaps lacking in a stunning vista, is delightfully charming while providing an intimate surrounding for a wonderful meal. I will be back and highly recommend

19/10/2025: Extremely long waits, both to be seated and for the food to arrive. The service is courteous, but visibly understaffed. The pizza is good and the prices are fair, but the organization leaves much to be desired. We had booked a table for two at 9:00 PM and were only able to sit down at 9:40 PM. The order was taken after another 20 minutes, and the pizza arrived an hour and forty minutes later. From the reviews, I read that the staff shortage has been a long-standing issue, and unfortunately, I can confirm that the situation hasn't improved. The waiters, polite but overworked, seem to be victims of a management that doesn't take into account the size of the restaurant and the influx of customers. It's unacceptable to take over two and a half hours to eat a pizza. It's a shame, because the quality of the food is good, but the overall experience is compromised. If they want to accommodate so many customers, they would need to adjust their resources and ensure a worthy service.

17/10/2025: Beautiful place. Friendly staff. Shame about the salad. €9.00 and it was just salad. Two olives, three flakes of parmesan, and a spoonful of tuna. The bread was good.

05/07/2025: Un’esperienza assurda: ho raggiunto i miei familiari (5 persone) a pranzo in questo locale e, essendo i piatti proposti piuttosto elaborati e la mia alimentazione molto semplice e selettiva per ragioni mediche, ho chiesto di poter avere un piatto con il pollo della caesar salad (prevista nel menù), del riso bianco (previsto nel poke) e delle zucchine alla griglia. Dopo essersi recata in cucina la cameriera è tornata dicendomi che non era possibile avere il pollo e il riso😳😳…Ho dunque detto che non avrei potuto mangiare e lei se n’è andata, senza che nessuno venisse a verificare, a proporre una eventuale alternativa (una pasta per esempio??) a quel piatto così difficile che avevo chiesto!! Non mi è mai capitata una cosa del genere, neppure “nei peggiori bar di Caracas”!! Il pranzo è proseguito fino al dolce e al caffè senza che nessuno si sognasse di chiedere se volessi qualcosa… Il fatto che un cliente dichiari di non poter mangiare perché il locale non è in grado di servire del riso bianco con del pollo (alimenti peraltro previsti nel menu) e’ stato totalmente ignorato! Pessimo veramente. Andateci solo se vi piacciono poke pretenziosi ma scadenti (come quello ordinato da mia cognata…) oppure se volete saltare il pasto senza che a coloro che, in teoria, stanno li per darvi da mangiare importi alcunché! PS il voto è un regalo per poter rendere nota a tutti la vostra assoluta mancanza di attenzione al cliente.

16/06/2025: Conosco panta rei da anni location molto rilassante e fino a poco tempo fa il personale in sala era molto piacevole, sorridente e famigliare,purtroppo tornati in 2 mesi due volte ,non ci siamo trovati più bene ,le porzioni sono ridotte,il personale è cambiato e non sembra preparato ,peccato mi trovavo molto bene ,ora non è così....

04/10/2025: Spectacular in Lecco, high-quality ingredients brought directly from the south of our beautiful country. Small, family-friendly atmosphere. The pizza is definitely worth a try, both for its quality, digestibility, and price.
